  Was a delight to work with before, during, and after our wedding

  Nicole Wickens at Green Door Photography worked with us during our wedding on September 4th, 2021 and was so amazing on every level. She was easy to communicate with, extremely professional and organized, and is just in general a delightful person! She put me at ease in front of the camera (not an easy feat), gave my husband and I just enough direction to make everything easier, and is clearly incredibly skilled and creative. Nicole brought a second photographer Bess to the wedding and the two of them made the whole experience a blast. Even though I had never met them before I was so glad to have them there to celebrate with us, we loved them!!

  Nicole Wickens at Green Door Photography worked with us during our wedding on September 4th, 2021 and was so amazing on every level.   Nicole and Heather are literally worth their weight in gold. I can tell you--hiring a good photographer who is able to document your wedding weekend and capture not only the posed family portraits, but more importantly capture the special moments you have with your family and friends, is absolutely priceless. Green Door Photography does just that. Nicole and Heather take beautiful, artistic pictures and somehow still remain in the background so you don't feel awkward being photographed for 8 hours straight. I originally met Nicole at a friend's wedding in Glacier, MT and was blown away by the quality and uniqueness of her photographs. When searching for photographers in Wisconsin for my own wedding, I didn't find anyone close to the caliber of Green Door Photography so I opted to fly them to Wisconsin for our wedding last month. This was an investment since we were not a couple with an endless wedding budget, but it was the best investment I made for our wedding. Nicole and Heather are outrageously talented and you have BOTH of them photographing your wedding. Not only can they take amazing pictures, they are genuine, funny, beautiful women who you will want to hang out with on a regular basis (seriously), which is important because the last thing you want to deal with on your wedding day is an irritating photographer following you around cracking bad jokes and telling you to look "sassy". I would recommend these gals to everyone--be sure to book them early as they fill up quick!

  Nicole is rad: I work in magazines, and I work with a lot of talented photographers in NYC and LA, and yet, I didn't want to fly anyone out to Montana to shoot our wedding because Nicole's work is exactly what we wanted. She is so easy going and lowkey that she made the whole thing painless (we HATE having our picture taken). She really captured us, and our families, and all the details we worked so hard on for the wedding itself.

  Nicole from Green Door was amazing!! Deciding on a photographer is a tough thing to do for a wedding, as those photos will remain with you for the rest of your lives. Nicole has an amazing eye for great shots and when I show our wedding photos, the first comment is "Who was your photographer, she did an amazing job!" and it is true. Nicole met with us to do our engagement photos and made us feel right at ease and ready for our wedding. My guests all loved her, she fit right in and made them comfortable. We did a wedding album with her, and again, we get a ton of positive responses to the book...now we just need to get pregnant so we can work with her again for the cute family photos :)

  I absolutely love Nicole and her amazing photography. She provided everything that my husband and I were looking for in a photographer, and she even stayed longer than stated in her contract. He photos turned out amazing and she made us both feel totally comfortable with her so that we could act natural and not feel awkward or like we were posing. The entire process was really easy and I liked her from the moment we met. She even handled our difficult family members well! Her two assistants were also great, I forgot they were even there taking great photos!
  
  I would definitely hire Green Door Photography again if I needed amazing photos taken of a special event.

  Nicole was wonderful to work with throughout the wedding process. Within 5 minutes of meeting her, we knew she would show incredible professionalism while also being a fun addition to the wedding.   By far the best wedding photographer I have come across. I am so happy I have these beautiful photos to represent the best day of my life. It was wonderful working with Nicole, she was incredibly professional, kind, well organized and very helpful during such a stressful event. Nicole's photos are very artistic and creative and you can tell she loves what she does. I would strongly recommend her to every bride-to-be!

  We were so glad we chose Nicole and Green Door Photography for our wedding. She was so calm and helpful on the wedding day - including showing us how to lace up my dress.

  There are not enough stars here to give Nicole the review she deserves. From beginning to end Green Door was the BEST money spent on my wedding. Our engagement session in Glacier Park was a great day, with even greater results. She even got my less than thrilled fiancé to relax and pose like a pro. Everyone who sees the photos is amazed at how beautiful they are. There is nothing stuffy or formal about Nicole and she has an amazing eye for taking photographs that stand out and make you say “WOW”. Our wedding was very “non-traditional” with a small ceremony and a barbeque reception on the lake. She went with the flow and fit right in, taking amazing candid photos of our friends and family. She even set up an impromptu photo-booth that gave me some of my favorite photos of the day. I wish I could have her follow me around every day of my life to document those little moments that she is such a genius at capturing.

I wish I could have her follow me around every day of my life to document those little moments that she is such a genius at capturing.

  My husband and I first met Nicole at a wedding in France and instantly fell in love with her. After seeing her effortlessly capture every moment of Kristen's wedding, and after viewing the stunning photos shortly thereafter, we knew that she had to be a part of our wedding day. I don't even think we were engaged yet! ....but we knew. A couple of years later and we were greeting her in the Bahamas. She not only captured every single moment that was important to us, but also put everyone at ease. She was gracious and fun to be around, and felt like one of our crew. My family sincerely wanted to adopt her by the end of the week, and probably still would if they were offered the chance! But to top it all off, the photos that I received absolutely made me cry and smile at the same time. Every single person's personality was captured in his or her best possible light. I couldn't have been more pleased with Nicole's talent and eye for capturing unique moments and images. More importantly, however, is that my husband and I felt like we gained a lifelong friend....a friend that will hopefully someday capture our kids through the same lens.

Everything about her is TOP QUALITY. I don't know anyone who has looked at her work and not instantly fallen in love with the way she sees the world.   I can't say enough good things about Nicole. Nicole shot our engagement photos, and created one of a kind save-the-dates for us that captured exactly who we were and set the tone for our upcoming wedding. The day of our wedding I knew that the one thing I didn't have to worry about was my day being captured in a unique and beatiful way. Nicole has a special gift of "being invisible" and some of my favorite photos are those I didn't even know she took. I also love that there is a second shooter, gives your day another angle. Her "formal" photos aren't stiff and korny, but fun and modern... We had individual mini-albums made for all our parents, a large coffee table for us, and we also got the huge wall composite...they are amazing in quality and so much fun to show off, Thanks Nicole, you rock!

  As a bride who's Mom is a professional photographer... It was challenging to find a Wedding Photographer that my Mom could completely trust! I really wanted my Mom to enjoy my wedding and not want or feel like she needed to pick up her camera. After meeting Nicole in person at our engagement shoot, I was certain that she was the perfect person for the job.
  
  Two years later, and my Mom still insists that having Nicole photograph my wedding was by far the best money she's EVER spent!! I have to agree, my wedding photos are my most prized possession. I boxed up my wedding gown, the flowers wilted, I can't remember what my main course was or even what the cake tasted like... But the photos Nicole took will last us a lifetime!! We've blown up several of the photos and they decorate the walls of our home, they still evoke emotion, make me smile and take me back to a very special day!
