Angelina sat down with us a couple of times and talked with us about everything from our core values around the concept marriage to what life looks like in the day-to-day. She wove all of those stories together and created a ceremony that was just perfect for us.

Additionally, we had weather and last-minute changes, and Angelina was able to adjust and conduct the ceremony without missing a beat.

When my previous marriage dissolved, some part of the blame must be placed on the lackluster, formulaically religious wedding ceremony we had. Think about it: two non-Catholics in clothes any thousand other people could have been wearing, in a 1000-person-town’s Catholic Church where they never had and never would attend services. Eight guests, including parents and witnesses. I was not wife enough to get us past all that. I take the blame.

In the intervening years, I was awakened spiritually and was lead as if by magic to my life-mate. Oh happy day! We wanted to consummate and signify and celebrate our union. I knew, we knew, that we would need professional help to do it right this time! And one of our friends said, you need to talk to Angelina!

Angelina!!!! Without her, could we have schmoozed our way into a naked, innocent, authentic, burning man wedding with 100 friends on a hilltop by a pond, with our poetry and hula hoops, dancing under the warm sun? No! That was all Angelina! She looked deep into our souls and pulled out our truth, and then armed with our truth, she said, we would be married, and she would bless us. And now we live in bliss. I even sometimes style myself the Apostle of Marriage, but really I should pull my hubris down. That’s Angelina, all the way.

I am a married woman in love, though, whose every day is part of a never-ending honeymoon. Thank you, Angelina.

We cannot recommend Angelina as a wedding celebrant highly enough. We knew both before and after our ceremony that there was no one we would rather have marry us than her. While friends expressed surprise that, not only were we not writing our own vows but letting our celebrant create our entire ceremony, we always had full trust in her to make the day just what we wanted—even when we weren’t sure exactly what that was. Even with that, she exceeded our expectations, creating for us a gorgeous ceremony and set of vows that were joyful, personal, moving, funny, and truer to us and our relationship than we imagined possible for someone not actually in the relationship with us. Along the way, she spent the time to help our completely lost selves to understand and approach the practical considerations of putting together a ceremony and surrounding family gathering. Most importantly, she did so with a confidence, patience, and reassuring nature that helped us to just focus on the joy we were feeling. We will forever be grateful!
