The food was amazing!!! All the guests told us how much they liked the food. My biggest regret for the wedding day is not getting to eat enough of it! Everything flowed smoothly the evening of, the staff were very kind. Prior to the wedding the catering company responded to all my questions very quickly. This was an intimate wedding, about 18 people. I would definitely recommend!

Incredible. We hired Great Events Catering for our 1/22/22 Wedding and they knocked it out of the park. We were planning our wedding from afar and Great Events was super east to work with. Melissa in particular was fabulous- she was responsive and accommodating. Ourselves and our guests were blown away by the food - many particularly raved about the mini chicken and waffles and bacon wrapped goat cheese stuffed dates. The entrees were generous in size, delicious and served hot. The desserts were the perfect sweet ending to the evening. Service was 10/10. Thank you Great events!

The food was amazing!! They cooked on site so everything was fresh and delicious. From the apps to dinner, everyone was talking about how good the food was - and many guests even went up for seconds! The staff was great too. They were very friendly and had perfect timing (never wondered when the next app was coming out, or during dinner when the next person was going to be able to eat). And the two head staff were amazing! They made sure we (bride and groom) had food and drinks at all times during the dinner. They got our drinks, made our plates, and offered to help with any other requests. Highly recommend Great Events!

Great Events Catering did such a great job with the food at our wedding! They were so easy to work with and were always so timely in answering our questions during the wedding planning process.
We went with a stations menu and everyone LOVED it. They are still talking about the appetizers and dinner and our wedding was 2 months ago! The servers were also amazing! They did a phenomenal job passing out the appetizers during cocktail hour and they even hand-delivered a meal to one of our guests who has trouble getting around on her own without anyone having to ask them to do so. Truly amazing. The servers also walked my husband and I through the stations and brought our meals to our sweetheart table to us. They were great checking in on all of our guests and making sure everyone was satisfied with their meals.
We also had 2 vegetarians attend our wedding and they were able to accommodate a different (and apparently amazing) vegetarian meal for those guests!
They also set up all of the tables, chairs, linens, and napkins for our wedding and it looked amazing! I would definitely recommend Great Events for a wedding!!

After the tasting, I thought about their food weekly. We were nervous that the quality of the food wouldn’t translate to buffet style and boy were we wrong! The food was DELICIOUS and the staff made sure we got our share. Our guests kept telling us how much they enjoyed the food. The short braised rib was to die for. On top of that, Julie and her team made this process a breeze and were very professional. Cannot recommend enough!

We hired Great Events for our micro wedding (food for 10 people), and it was absolutely wonderful! We worked with Great Events to select exactly what we wanted, and it was perfect.

Great Events provided the best food I’ve ever had. All of our guests were raving about it and it didn’t taste at all like “wedding food”. From the appetizers, to the entrees, drinks and EXCEPTIONAL service, I HIGHLY recommend using Great Events if DELICIOUS food is important to you at your wedding/event.

I cannot thing of enough good things to say about Great Events catering. We were married at Old Town Manor and had several events throughout the weekend and Great Events catered every single one. On Thursday evening we help a Welcome Reception with heavy hordeurves and Great Events offered drop catering. The food was DELICIOUS. The following night we had our plated rehearsal dinner and it was just as fabulous. All of the food was fresh, warm, and so stinkin good. Saturday night Great Events also provided our reception catering. People were coming up to us during and after the event to let us know how wonderful the food was. All food was prepared on-site that very same day, the staff was professional, and the entire company was incredible to work with. I have never had wedding food taste this good and I'm so glad we went with Great Events!

Great Events did a wonderful job catering our wedding at Truman Little White House! From my first phone call with Aleksandra to our fun and delicious tasting experience, and then throughout the entire process leading to our special day, it was simple, fun and met my budget expectations! This was a destination wedding, so I had to plan remotely with a few visits to Key West, but Aleksandra and then Julie were available to answer all questions and were so accommodating on any changes or adjustments to the menu! Then, on our wedding day, the food, staff, bartender and banquet captain were outstanding! Professional, accommodating and super nice! Both my fiancé and me did not want for a thing the entire evening. And our guests are still talking about the mashed potato bar!

My. Chicken. Was. Very. Very. Good.

Whew. Got that out of the way.

Kind of. I am not done talking about that chicken. It was actually cooked through, very moist and still had a crispy skin. It was not your typical wedding chicken. Heck, this wasn’t your typical home cooked chicken. This was good.

Enough about my chicken.

Everybody asked us who was catering our wedding, and when we said Great Events, the response was always “Oh yeah. Oh hell yeah. That’s who you want to cater your wedding. And Aleks is amazing.” Every. Time.

And they did not disappoint.

We are huge foodies and live in a great town full of amazing restaurants. We, like many of our wedding guests, like to eat at the top restaurants, thus have quite high standards when it comes to food and service. And let's be honest, wedding food typically sucks. When was the last time you had a good cut of beef perfectly cooked or chicken that wasn’t dry at a wedding?

We knew that we had to find the best caterer on the island, and we did.

Here, there were no misses. From the appetizers to the fish, people ate everything. I’m talking clean plates. People were using the pop-overs (don’t get me started on these little fluffy pillows of heaven!!) to sop up the sauces. It was that good.

I could go on and on about the compliments our foodie friends gave us about how surprisingly great everything was, but really, you should just refer back to my chicken comments and let that sink in for a moment.

I also cannot say enough good things about the service. The staff was so friendly and beyond accommodating.

We had welcome champagne flutes for our guests as they arrived and the wait staff continuously came to the staging area for the bridal party to make sure we also had champagne. Our glasses were never empty and the bartender did an exceptional and seamless job of alternating my vodka/soda with lime and club soda with lime (per my request). *this is a great hack if you wish to appear as though you are drinking but want to make it to your own after party*

Now we are just trying to convince our friends to get married in Key West so we can eat more of that chicken...
