About
I'm a singer-songwriter based in Austin. Before music was the job, I flew survey planes over Texas - long, quiet hours alone with my own voice and nobody around to be self-conscious in front of. When that work ended in 2020 I finally auditioned for American Idol, made the Top 16, and got to sing with Ben Rector and Sheryl Crow along the way.
These days I play weddings: ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner. One guitar, one voice, no backing tracks. If you want your ceremony to feel like a room full of people who love you rather than a production, that's what I'm built for.
What working with me looks like: I ask about your day early. The order of the ceremony, who's walking when, whether your officiant wants a cue. I talk with your planner or venue ahead of time so nothing is a surprise on the day. I don't need a stage. A corner and an outlet is plenty.
A few things couples usually want to know:
Sound is included. I bring a PA that covers rooms up to 200 to 300 guests, so you're not renting equipment or hoping the venue's system reaches out to the ceremony lawn.
Travel is quoted separately outside the Austin area, and I'm glad to go. I take dates across Texas and I'm booking New England and Cape Cod for next summer.
One honest limitation: solo acoustic isn't a dance floor. If you want dancing late into the night, plan on a DJ or a playlist after my set. Better you hear that from me now than wonder about it at 10pm.
Send me your date and your venue and I'll tell you straight whether I'm the right fit for it.
