Abby was perfection!!
I originally didn't think I needed a wedding planner until I began to FREAK OUT about everything, as I'm sure many brides do! I spoke with Sarah on the phone and absolutely loved how warm and bright she was. She wasn't available for my date but she said that Abby and I would hit it off and I didn't believe her but boyyy did we!! Abby was just as lovely and professional as Sarah was. I looked through plenty of reviews of Grace & Gold and plenty of other planners and I have to say to #1 Go with your gut #2 make sure you mesh well and #3 make sure your planner is REALISTIC. Sarah and Abby were the ONLY planners I had spoken to that were realistic about my expectations but still made my vision come to life in the most beautiful way. I was such a stressed mess with everything and Abby handled it all. I had zero stress on my actual wedding day and that is how it's supposed to be!! I'm so grateful to have found her and to have had her be my sane through everything. Truly from the bottom of my heart I am so thankful for you Abby! Amazing! Truly brought my dream wedding to life!
I cannot say enough good things about Sarah and her event planning company. From the first phone call, she was extremely positive, helpful, professional, and excited to work with me. I hardly had to consider any other wedding planners! The wedding was in Laguna Beach, CA, but during the year of planning we moved to Hawaii, bought our first home, and my husband and I started new jobs. Needless to say, Sarah was incredibly helpful during the whole process. I particularly liked that I was able to show her my pinterest board and then she picked out multiple vendors for each area of the wedding for me to look through. Everyone she recommended was really good! I also never felt any pressure to spend more money than I wanted, and Sarah always provided feedback when needed! In the last month before the wedding, we had a family health crisis that I had to focus on, and Sarah and Erin (the day-of coordinator) completely came in, took care of all the last minute items, and really supported me during this tough time. On the wedding day itself, Erin was extremely professional, calm, friendly, and helpful. Not only did we stay on time, but we were actually early and my husband and I were able to attend our cocktail hour! So many of our guests said this was the best wedding they have ever been too, and I was completely blown away at how perfect it was! Where do I even begin??? Sarah was an absolute DREAM to work with and if anyone reading this is on the fence about working with a Planner or Day of Coordinator - without a doubt, ABSOLUTELY get one, and better yet, make it Sarah! I got married at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs and Sarah came very highly recommended by the venue. About 30 seconds into my first call with Sarah, I knew why. This woman is a rockstar. She knew the venue like the back of her hand, had amazing relationships with the entire hotel staff, and was just the kindest, most supportive, and most knowledgable person to have on my team. She made my wedding day, and actually the entire month leading up to my wedding, completely stress-free. Handled every vendor or family member gone rogue like a boss and with a smile on her face! I honestly can't say enough good things about her. She also brought a fantastic assistant, Casey, with her on the day of my wedding and they were a flawless team together.
