With a passion for color, rich environments, and bringing joy to everyone around her, Glitter Poppy was founded by Laura and her mom, Lindy, with a mission to partner with clients on many levels, to create memorable events, and build amazing relationships. Inspired by the bubbling personalities of her two wonderful kids, and supported by her partner and husband, Laura started her event design career with over-the-top kids soirees that went beyond the fun and magic that clients expected. Thanks to her keen planning skills and organization, her studio quickly evolved into a full-service events brand, catering to discerning brides, anniversary events, birthdays for all ages and other elevated social events. Her academic and personal experience includes a myriad of creative endeavors, including theater, beauty and fashion, arts and crafts and more. Laura has also delved in the corporate events arena, with events such as the PHYSIQUE Health and Lifestyle EXPO at the JW Marriott in Downtown Austin. Whenever Laura’s not creating magic with her hands, she can be found enjoying yummy food from her hometown in Puerto Rico, running after her two rays of sunshine and their mischievous furry baby Penny.

With her warm nature and (very!) fun personality, Lindy always makes our clients smile. She is a creative thinker, thrifty, and extremely resourceful designer, with unique solutions to many different problems that can arise before, during, or even after an event. Hardworking, dynamic, and eager to please, her client-centric approach makes working with her team a smooth and memorable experience. The fusion of her creative touch and the incorporation of Laura's trendy elements make them a fantastic match for your event.

When Lindy is not pushing her creativity with event designs, she adores spending time with her family. Quality time is a core value in her heart so whenever she gets the opportunity she host a delicious loving meal to share with her husband, daughters, and their families.

Extremely friendly and down-to-earth, Danny is always ready to meet clients with creative ideas and a big smile. His love for board games, movies, and video games not only makes him a kid at heart but also a joy to work with (when not creating with Glitter Poppy, Danny can be found working behind the scenes to build his own game center where he can share his passion for all things board games).

Danny's focused work (and fun antics) make setup days dynamic and efficient. While he brings the muscle, Laura and Lindy can work on all design aspects. His supportive nature is also a great asset to clients when he captures their natural beauty through his photography lens. A loving husband and caring daddy, Danny is a pilar for Glitter Poppy and his family, and with attentive listening, it's easy to see why clients quickly fall in love with his warm personality.
