History
Built in 1895 by Daniel Weisiger Adams, Glendale Springs Inn & Restaurant originally served as a general merchandise store until 1902 when it became an inn with on-site dining. In 1935 to 1938 the space underwent its first major renovation and another between 1958 and 1960, serving as a private residence before returning to its original role as a lodging and dining establishment. Today the grounds occupy over two acres, with space for weddings and other special events.

The venue is conveniently located in Ashe County, North Carolina. Approximately 15 minutes from Ashe County Airport, the venue is less than one hour from various landmarks, such as Stone Mountain State Park and Cherokee National Forest.
