I booked Gl'amour for hair and makeup for myself, bridesmaids, and mother of the bride for my wedding day, and I could not be more pleased. These ladies did a fantastic job and were able to flawlessly recreate the hairstyles that my bridesmaids requested from pinterest pictures. We chose to go to the salon, even though they do offer travel options, and they did a fantastic job managing the time between all six of us. For 5 up-dos, my hair, and 6 full make-up applications, they were done in a little less than 4 hours and gave us plenty of time to make it to our next stop that day. Our hair and makeup lasted the entire day, through NC humidity and rain, all the way through our after party. I also paid for a separate bridal trial about a month before the wedding, and even with this, Gl'amour was still one of the most affordable options around. I could not be happier with my choice to use Gl'amour and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking in the Lake Norman/Charlotte area.

These ladies were AMAZING. They came to my venue to do my hair and makeup as well as a few of my bridesmaids. I didn't show them pictures of the hairstyle I wanted but I just tried to explain but it turned out exactly how I wanted it to! It stayed in place all night and looked amazing. My makeup was just as amazing. They did airbrush foundation which stayed in place all night, and it I didn't sweat a drop through the 90 degree weather and it looked great in pictures. Highly recommend!!

Amanda and Ashley were incredible!! I chose Gl'amour to do my hair and makeup on my wedding day, along with my bridesmaids that requested it. They have worked with our venue quite a few times, visiting the property to do their work, which was very convenient for us. I set up some decor on the morning of our wedding and was able to just head in the house on the property and start getting my makeup done when I was finished. I did have a trial with both hair and makeup a couple months before our day, with Amanda doing my makeup and Kristin doing my hair. There were some issues with my dress so I requested my hair be half up for the trial and completely up for the wedding. I was a bit nervous about the trial not really being "a trial", but there was absolutely no reason to worry. Amanda did both my hair and makeup on wedding day, and we discussed a few changes I wanted on my makeup and of course the whole new hair style, and she did an amazing job. I have never felt so beautiful in my life and I know she truly wanted me to feel my best and love the outcome. She made me feel so at ease and made me smile and laugh the whole time she worked. It took all I had not to cry when she finished because I loved it so much! Ashley did an amazing job too, being patient with some picky bridesmaids, and getting everyone finished in the short amount of time we had. I absolutely loved having them their on our wedding day and am so grateful for their awesome work on our special day! Thank you!!!
