Gibson Rental of Orange is Virginia’s premier rental service. We are locally owned and operated and have been serving your area for the past 22 years.

Gibson Rental provides a complete line of rental items for your wedding and other special events including: tents, tables, chairs, lighting, heating/cooling equipment, linens, porta lisa restroom trailer, as well as dance floors and staging. In addition to our rental items, we accommodate our clients with a wide range of event services including: inclement weather holds for tents, side curtains, and heaters, one free site inspection, free quotes, on-staff Event Coordinator, computer software providing a visual of your layout plan, and a flexible staff willing to assist you. We require a 25% non-refundable deposit for all reservations. Balance is due in full 3 days before delivery or at customer pick up. Cancellation must occur 24 hours prior to delivery date to receive the 75% refund. We accept cash, check, Visa, Master Card and Discover.

We are open Monday - Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Beautiful wedding tent!

We used Gibson Rentals for our October 2025 wedding tent, dance floor and lighting. They were extremely professional and responsive during the planning process, and their team delivered everything as promised. We didn't use a planner, so Rachel was really helpful in advising on what we would need and adding/taking away items from our order — including a last minute addition of handmade banners, which they strung up on the tent beautifully. We were very happy with our experience, highly recommend!

Wonderful experience working with Gibson!

Gibson Rentals was a great vendor to work with during the wedding planning process! They were professional and extremely easy to work with. With a late October wedding, we were unsure of whether or not we would need outdoor heaters and Gibson was very accommodating with last minute decisions. We highly recommend this local business!

Great value and incredible service!

Beginning to end, we loved working with Gibson Rental, specifically Rachel! Even though we had a small backyard wedding with a small budget, they gave our contract all of the care and attention in the world. Rachel walked me through all of my early questions and patiently helped us plan for our wedding day vision. Communication was stellar throughout, and as we got closer to the day, Brian—who was also incredibly friendly and helpful came out to consult on the size of the tent for our space. The crew who delivered and installed our tent, lights, tables, and chairs, was also timely, efficient, and kind, just as they were went it was time to break things down. Gibson Rentals came recommended as an economical option, and it was, but it was also a wonderfully run family business with superior quality service! I would definitely recommend Gibson to any bride in the Charlottesville area.

Professional, Responsive

Gibson is a locally owned business that is professional, helpful and accommodating. They are so communicative, and provided excellent assistance throughout our wedding process. Rachel is so easy to work with, and while our wedding changed tremendously through Covid-19, they pivoted with us to have the wedding of our dreams. Installation was a breeze, pickup was easy and the pricing is incredibly reasonable compared to various tent providers in the area. I would recommend them time and time again.

Experienced Rental Company with Good Relationships

Gibsons made sure we had all the tents, chairs, tables, and toilets we needed. They were great to work with and made sure our outdoor wedding was well covered, lit, and warm. I was very happy with how it worked out. It helped that they had good relationships with our other vendors as well.

Cold November wedding

Mike and his team were not daunted by our outdoor wedding at a friend's farm in November. Mike was very creative in helping us find tents that would fit the site and our guest count as well as making sure we were warm with heaters. They communicated well. Our guests could not believe how warm we were inside the tents inspire of the chilly temperatures outside.

We had most of what we needed from our caterer/venue, but brought Gibson in for a tent and stage extension. They worked with us to get the right measurements for everything, and were great when it came to the day of, just coming and delivering/setting everything up almost without us even noticing. Thank you!

Gibson made getting all the rentals I needed for our wedding really easy. We rented tables, chairs, tent, heaters, and a bathroom trailer. I made a lot of changes in the last week or two before our wedding, and Rachel did a really good job of keeping up with me! I would highly recommend Gibson for all your rental needs!

We picked up our own tables and chairs and our customer set up tent. We had no problems and the tent was easy to set up! Each time we called the staff were very friendly and accommodating!
