Working with Dawna was hands-down one of the best parts of my wedding day!

Throughout the months leading up to the big day, Dawna went above and beyond my expectations. When I met with her for the makeup trial she walked me through the process, listened to my ideas, and provided a look which was exactly what I was going for. When I followed up with her the next day to tell her that I was hoping for a more natural lip color than the one we had chosen at the trial, she immediately responded with a suggestion of a new color which was exactly what I was looking for!

In the days leading up to the wedding, she checked in to ask if there was anything I needed, and it really helped put my mind at ease knowing that she was so on top of things.

The morning of the wedding, Dawna showed up bright and early to start the makeup application for all of us. I really appreciated that she made a point to arrive 15 minutes early, just to have piece of mind knowing she wouldn't be late. Dawna did an excellent job talking to each person before applying the makeup to explain the airbrush process and customize their look to their specifications. It is clear that Dawna takes pride in her work, and she made sure that everyone looked their absolute best. When it was time for me to get my makeup done, she did an amazing job and even talked things through with me to help keep the wedding jitters away. We had so much fun laughing and talking together, Dawna really became one of the girls. I would highly recommend Dawna to anyone looking for a friendly and professional makeup artist who does an amazing job.

Dawna provided on site makeup for myself and my bridal party at my 9/16/17 wedding, and I cannot say enough great things about her! Everyone was so happy with their makeup, which looked natural yet stood out in person and in photos. Everyone looked flawless and our makeup stayed that way all night! Dawna was NOT your average wedding vendor. She really took an interest in me and my special day. During the planning process, she often gave me wedding advice that was entirely separate from anything makeup-related. She was patient and helpful through multiple pre-wedding panic sessions, and even went above and beyond to help me when I lost my engagement ring the month before my wedding.

Your makeup artist is with you and your girls for many hours during your wedding day, so it's important that you choose someone that is pleasant and fun to be around. Dawna is DEFINITELY that person. She was very professional, yet was still able to have fun and keep up with the energy in the room. She made each one of my bridesmaids feel beautiful, and even gave my mother a few tips when she was feeling self-conscious.

I am so happy to hear that she now has her very own studio (instead of sharing), and it is beautiful! When I think about my wedding day, I remember Dawna. Not just because she is the person that I contracted to apply cosmetics to my wedding party, but because she truly was a part of the day.

Choosing Dawna to complete wedding day make-up for myself and my bridal party was one of the easiest decisions I made for our wedding! Back in 2013 I met her at my matron of honors wedding ...I told her I wanted a natural look and she completely delivered and I had never at that point had so many compliments on my makeup. 3 years later, as the bride, she gave me the same natural look I requested (with that pop that a bride needs to stand out). My make-up was still looking fresh, even after hours of the normal wear and tear you encounter as the bride. I took her suggestion about having a brighter than normal lip color and I was so happy I did because it stands out beautifully in my pictures. Definitely knows her stuff ! She was also able to manage her time well and made me and my ladies feel relaxed the whole time. She is extremely talented, punctual,patient, professional, and consistent. Dawna makes you feel like a celebrity and I could not imagine using another make-up artist if I had to do it all over again! Dawna did my makeup when I was a bridesmaid in my friend’s wedding, and I knew right away that I wanted to have her for mine. She was amazing to work with throughout the entire process and did such a wonderful job the day of! Everyone’s makeup looked flawless, and Dawna made everyone feel comfortable and really took the time to listen to what everyone wanted. My mom and sister don’t wear much makeup and were hesitant about getting it done, but she put their mind at ease and they loved their looks. I can’t recommend her enough!!

I had the pleasure of working with Dawna on both days of our 2-day wedding weekend. She did my Indian makeup for our Indian wedding (this is Indian makeup on a white girl...came out AMAZING and got rave reviews from my in-laws and guests;) and my glamorous, romantic makeup for our white dress wedding day (I felt like a trillion bucks!). I had my wedding September 6th and I couldn't tell you how absolutely pleased me and all my girls were with Dawna! She was awesome throughout the whole process and was really flexible. For the quality of her service it was worth every dime! I can't tell you how beautiful I felt on my wedding day, which was something very important for me. She is also extremely easy going and easy to talk to, I think we were all pretty stressed that day but she helped :). My friend (a bridesmaid) is getting married September 2016 and her original plan was to go to a salon for makeup and hair services but she changed around all her plans and hired Dawna for her upcoming wedding because she was so amazed with the outcome of her makeup! 5 stars for sure!

When I was searching for makeup artists, price was my first consideration to keep things reasonable for my bridal party. I came across Dawna and she checked all of the boxes, so I set up a trial. Within moments of meeting her at her house, I knew I wouldn't need to look anywhere else. Dawna really knows what she's doing. I showed her a picture of what I wanted, and she totally nailed it on the first try. Throughout the planning, Dawna responded to every email that I sent her literally within minutes, which is invaluable when you're managing several different vendors.

The morning of any wedding day is always my favorite - hanging out with the best ladies in a bride's life for several hours on such an important day is so fun, and I've found the hair/makeup vendors really impact the vibe a lot. Dawna was perfect - she fit in really well and participated in conversations, but in a totally professional and muted way. My (unrelated) hair vendor ran really far behind schedule, and Dawna picked up the slack with a smile and made everyone look beautiful. You won't regret booking her!

Dawna is AWESOME! Not only does she do an impeccable job on your makeup, but she is super fun and great to work with. From my makeup trial to the day of the wedding, everything was perfect.
