Working with Dawna was hands-down one of the best parts of my wedding day!

Throughout the months leading up to the big day, Dawna went above and beyond my expectations. When I met with her for the makeup trial she walked me through the process, listened to my ideas, and provided a look which was exactly what I was going for. When I followed up with her the next day to tell her that I was hoping for a more natural lip color than the one we had chosen at the trial, she immediately responded with a suggestion of a new color which was exactly what I was looking for!

In the days leading up to the wedding, she checked in to ask if there was anything I needed, and it really helped put my mind at ease knowing that she was so on top of things.

The morning of the wedding, Dawna showed up bright and early to start the makeup application for all of us. I really appreciated that she made a point to arrive 15 minutes early, just to have piece of mind knowing she wouldn't be late. Dawna did an excellent job talking to each person before applying the makeup to explain the airbrush process and customize their look to their specifications. It is clear that Dawna takes pride in her work, and she made sure that everyone looked their absolute best. When it was time for me to get my makeup done, she did an amazing job and even talked things through with me to help keep the wedding jitters away. We had so much fun laughing and talking together, Dawna really became one of the girls. I would highly recommend Dawna to anyone looking for a friendly and professional makeup artist who does an amazing job.

Dawna provided on site makeup for myself and my bridal party at my 9/16/17 wedding, and I cannot say enough great things about her! Everyone was so happy with their makeup, which looked natural yet stood out in person and in photos. Everyone looked flawless and our makeup stayed that way all night! I can't recommend Dawna enough- she is professional, incredibly talented and just fun to work with!

Dawna was NOT your average wedding vendor. She really took an interest in me and my special day. During the planning process, she often gave me wedding advice that was entirely separate from anything makeup-related. She was patient and helpful through multiple pre-wedding panic sessions, and even went above and beyond to help me when I lost my engagement ring the month before my wedding.

Your makeup artist is with you and your girls for many hours during your wedding day, so it's important that you choose someone that is pleasant and fun to be around. Dawna is DEFINITELY that person. She was very professional, yet was still able to have fun and keep up with the energy in the room. She made each one of my bridesmaids feel beautiful, and even gave my mother a few tips when she was feeling self-conscious.

I am so happy to hear that she now has her very own studio (instead of sharing), and it is beautiful! I have already recommended Get Glam by Dawna! to many friends, family members, and other brides-to-be. My maid of honor (who is a Patriot Cheerleader) has used Dawna on multiple occasions. You will not be disappointed.

When I think about my wedding day, I remember Dawna. Not just because she is the person that I contracted to apply cosmetics to my wedding party, but because she truly was a part of the day.

Choosing Dawna to complete wedding day make-up for myself and my bridal party was one of the easiest decisions I made for our wedding! Back in 2013 I met her at my matron of honors wedding ...I told her I wanted a natural look and she completely delivered and I had never at that point had so many compliments on my makeup. 3 years later, as the bride, she gave me the same natural look I requested (with that pop that a bride needs to stand out). My make-up was still looking fresh, even after hours of the normal wear and tear you encounter as the bride. I took her suggestion about having a brighter than normal lip color and I was so happy I did because it stands out beautifully in my pictures. Definitely knows her stuff ! She was also able to manage her time well and made me and my ladies feel relaxed the whole time. She is extremely talented, punctual,patient, professional, and consistent. Dawna makes you feel like a celebrity and I could not imagine using another make-up artist if I had to do it all over again! Dawna did my makeup when I was a bridesmaid in my friend’s wedding, and I knew right away that I wanted to have her for mine. She was amazing to work with throughout the entire process and did such a wonderful job the day of! Everyone’s makeup looked flawless, and Dawna made everyone feel comfortable and really took the time to listen to what everyone wanted. My mom and sister don’t wear much makeup and were hesitant about getting it done, but she put their mind at ease and they loved their looks. I can’t recommend her enough!!

Dawna is fantastic to work with. She is confident and she is an expert! What else do you need on your big day but someone who you can relax with and know will make you look like yourself -but better!

I had the pleasure of working with Dawna on both days of our 2-day wedding weekend. She did my Indian makeup for our Indian wedding (this is Indian makeup on a white girl...came out AMAZING and got rave reviews from my in-laws and guests;) and my glamorous, romantic makeup for our white dress wedding day (I felt like a trillion bucks!). You don't have to appreciate makeup to be impressed with Dawna's work....some of my bridesmaids were skeptical about getting makeup done, but they ended up really loving how they looked. Hey brides,

I had my wedding September 6th and I couldn't tell you how absolutely pleased me and all my girls were with Dawna! She was awesome throughout the whole process and was really flexible. For the quality of her service it was worth every dime! I can't tell you how beautiful I felt on my wedding day, which was something very important for me. She is also extremely easy going and easy to talk to, I think we were all pretty stressed that day but she helped :). My friend (a bridesmaid) is getting married September 2016 and her original plan was to go to a salon for makeup and hair services but she changed around all her plans and hired Dawna for her upcoming wedding because she was so amazed with the outcome of her makeup! 5 stars for sure!

When I was searching for makeup artists, price was my first consideration to keep things reasonable for my bridal party. I came across Dawna and she checked all of the boxes, so I set up a trial. Within moments of meeting her at her house, I knew I wouldn't need to look anywhere else. Dawna really knows what she's doing. I showed her a picture of what I wanted, and she totally nailed it on the first try. Throughout the planning, Dawna responded to every email that I sent her literally within minutes, which is invaluable when you're managing several different vendors.

The morning of any wedding day is always my favorite - hanging out with the best ladies in a bride's life for several hours on such an important day is so fun, and I've found the hair/makeup vendors really impact the vibe a lot. Dawna was perfect - she fit in really well and participated in conversations, but in a totally professional and muted way. My (unrelated) hair vendor ran really far behind schedule, and Dawna picked up the slack with a smile and made everyone look beautiful. You won't regret booking her!

I found Dawna on WeddingWire, and I couldn't be any happier! My makeup (despite my weird stressed, dry and broken out skin) looked flawless! Dawna was so professional, but also fun. My mom was really hesitant about getting her makeup done, but Dawna made her feel relaxed and she looked so pretty!

Dawna did my makeup for my wedding and she was amazing! I have had my makeup done multiple times before and always had to do my own touch ups. During my trial with Dawna, she listened to exactly what I wanted and also gave her advice. I can't stress enough how great of a job she did!! I also had her put on fake lashes and they lasted for 2 days. I highly recommend Dawna and would user her again for a special occasion. I have never been happier with how my makeup looked! I used Dawna as my makeup artist for my wedding. She did everyone in the bridal parties makeup. She was great. I loved all the products she uses (naked palette, sephora, etc.). She uses a combination of makeup and airbrush technique. She was extremely professional and listened to what I wanted and envisioned for my big day. Her prices were the most reasonable out of anyone I spoke to. Dawna is also extremely trustworthy. I let her come to my house when no one was home to set up so she would be ready for us when we got back from the salon. I was nervous about having a stranger hang around all day on my wedding day with me and the bridal party. Her personality is great she fit right in with the bridal party and it seemed like we had been friends for years!!! If I ever need my makeup professionally done again I will totally be using Dawna.

I chose Dawna as my makeup artist for my wedding in June and it was one of the best decisions I made!!! I was thinking about doing my own makeup but I am SO happy I had it professionally done by Dawna. I wanted my makeup soft and romantic, not heavy or caked on my face. After Dawna was done with me, my makeup has never ever looked as flawless as it did- not to mention it photographed beautifully! It was exactly what I pictured it would be, but better. Dawna went above and beyond for me, my mom and my bridesmaids. She arrived early, set herself up and did her thing... She could not be more kind and is so calm when everything else tends to be so hectic on wedding day. I will not hesitate to recommend Dawna to anybody who asks, and if you are debating getting your makeup professionally done, take my advice and hire Dawna- I promise you won't regret it!!!!!

Dawna is AMAZING! She did my and my 6 bridesmaids makeup and we looked fantastic! She's so sweet and she really listens. I wanted a soft, natural look, and that is exactly what she gave me. Finding a makeup artist was actually one of the scariest parts of planning my wedding- I was so nervous that whoever I found would make me look like a clown or simply not like myself. Dawna provided exceptional service, and her expertise made my entire bridal party look BEAUTIFUL! I found her pricing and travel costs to be reasonable.

Once my trial was completed I knew she would be the make up artist for my wedding... so asked me questions, listened to what I was looking for and then gave me exactly that. I didn't not want to be overly made up... I wanted to look like a polished version of myself and she did a phenomenal job.

On the day of...She arrived early to get herself set up and completed 5 Bridesmaid, my Mother and myself with time to spare. She made everyone feel comfortable and took her time! She used high quality products, including products for sensitive skin.

And although i was skeptically the Fake Eyelashes really completed the look. Everyone looked and felt fantastic Thanks to Dawna!

If you are reading this review, there is no need to look further for a make up artist, because Dawna is AMAZING and you should book her! She did wedding make up for myself (bride), my six bridesmaids, and my mother. Everyone looked glamorous and was happy with their make up. Many of my bridesmaids love make up and wear it everyday, and they were all impressed with Dawna's work! She is very professional and does a great job. She even showed up early to set up and to get the room situated, which impressed me. All night, everyone was complimenting our make up. Thank you Dawna!

Dawna provided wedding makeup for me, 6 bridesmaids and my mom on our wedding day and she was just fantastic!
Dawna was on time and very professional and was able to work with a wide variety of skin tones--from very fair, blonde hair, blue eyes to mocha skin with very dark hair. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dawna! Her work is truly remarkable. Not only is she an extremely talented makeup artist, she has the best personality you could ask for - warm, kind, and fun to be around. Dawna is a total professional. From start to finish she was reliable, prompt to respond to any questions I had, and extremely accommodating. Prior to finding Dawna, I had trials with other makeup artists, and wasn't thrilled with the result. When I had my trial with Dawna, I knew immediately that I had to book her. My first impression was that I really liked her. Her kind and fun personality put me at ease. I knew I was good hands. Additionally, she really listened to what I wanted (unlike other makeup artists that just assume). The day of the wedding, she showed up at 8:00am promptly - which i give credit for because she had quite a long drive and through Boston on the Friday of Labor Day weekend. As she began working on my bridesmaids and mother, I watched her true talent unfold. Everyone just looked so incredibly beautiful. In fact, two of my bridesmaids who previously opted not to get professional makeup, decided otherwise after they saw the results of Dawna’s work. Without hesitation, Dawna added the girls into her busy schedule, finishing with time to spare. Having Dawna in the bridal suite as we got ready was truly wonderful. All my bridesmaids kept saying how talented and wonderful she was to be around. It was important to me that I had makeup that was natural and didn't totally transform how I looked; Dawna delivered 100% and made me look like the best version of myself. She made me feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day, and I cannot thank her enough for that. The biggest thing I would say about Dawna, is how affordable she was given the quality of her service. She truly deserves all 5 stars and more.

Dawna did a great job . Being an older bride I was concerned with my look . I wanted to look special and feel pretty, I wanted to look timeless and vintage but yet I wanted to look young at heart .Dawna captured that look . She was spot on . My girls looked beautiful also . Words can't describe how amazing Dawna is as a makeup artist and as a person! She is so calming for a nervous bride that never really wears much makeup. She makes sure you are happy at your trial and makes you feel the most beautiful you have ever felt. She was so much fun to have at the getting ready process before the wedding! Even bridesmaids that didn't plan on having their makeup done got theirs done because her work is that good! She makes you feel flawless and her prices are very reasonable. Dawna was amazing from the beginning! She was responsive and worked with the hair stylists to create a schedule for everyone to work together and have all the bridesmaids and myself done in a schedule that made sense.

I don't wear much make-up and met with Dawna prior to the wedding to talk about how I wanted to look the day of my wedding. I also have sensitive skin and Dawna also took that into consideration when applying my make-up on the day of my wedding.

I received so many compliments on my make-up.

Dawna even took time to ask my 14 year old niece if she would like a little make-up so that she would feel included in all the special make-up preparations as well.

I recommend Dawna to everyone!

I highly recommend Dawna as a make up artist. She's super talented and a true professional. From first messages with her to all the compliments I received on my make up, she is the best!! You won't be disappointed. I absolutely loved my makeup the day of my wedding. She listened to my requests and did my make up exactly the way i wanted it. My bridesmaids also loved how she did their make up, my MOH tried to book Dawna for her wedding but she was already booked!! I was more disappointed because I would have loved to have Dawna do my make up for her wedding too! Plus she's personable, there were no awkward moments of silence. Where do I start.. Dawna is amazing! She is quick with replies to messages, she does exactly what you want for make up, shows up early and stays till you're perfect! I am a cosmetologist and have never had my make up professionally done so i knew for my wedding I should get a professional. At my trial Dawna listened to what i wanted and made it happen. I wasn't even worried on my wedding day. She showed up early, set up and made everyone beautiful!! You will not be disappointed if you book Dawna! Prepare to have lots of compliments on your make up!! :)

Dawna did my photos for my engagement shoot and she nailed it. I wanted a natural look with a bit extra and what she did was perfect. She has the best lash application technique in town! I would recommend Dawna to anyone in the area that may be looking for a versatile professional and very talented artist.

Dawna did the make up for me, my 2 bridemaids, mother in law and mother the morning of my wedding. She arrived promptly on our agreed upon timeline and worked very efficiently and the results were absolutely stunning. I am not a person that normally wears a lot of make up so I asked for a more natural look and was absolutely thrilled with the results. I received numerous complements at the wedding as well as many comments that the I looked great in pictures which I know was in large part from the make up. For anyone looking for a make up artist for their wedding or any other event I highly recommend Dawna for her value, professionalism, and most of all skill and wonderful personality.

Dawna was the make-up artist for my daughter's wedding in September (2013). Right from the first correspondence, I felt comfortable with Dawna's ideas, suggestions, flexibility and many other variables. For a very appropriate fee, she offered a 'trial' for my daughter and I approximately three weeks before the wedding. I happened to be going to a wedding that day, so it was a perfect 'trial'. I was very pleased and received many compliments on how I looked (I believe she did such a good job that it made me look completely 'put together'). I have 'rosacea' on my face, and Dawna was very knowledgeable of the condition. For both the trial day and the wedding day, my face looked GREAT!!....The make up did not wear off and my face felt very comfortable. My daughter looked fabulous as well as all the attendants. I would highly recommend Dawna for a wedding or any special event where you are in need of make up services.

On my wedding day Dawna did makeup for myself, my bridesmaids and my Mom. She made each and everyone of us feel beautiful. She is not only very talented when it comes to makeup but she is extremely kind, caring, and reliable, she is the definition of ultimate professional. Dawna is prompt to reply whenever you have a question or concern. She makes your wedding day easy! My bridesmaids and My Mom could not say enough about how much they loved Dawna! Working with Dawna on my wedding day was wonderful!! She showed up early and is so talented and friendly. She went out of her way to make sure my mom, all my bridesmaids, and myself looked exactly how we wanted to. I absolutely loved my make up and the airbrushing was fabulous! My make up looked perfect all night long! She was very fun to work with and very reasonably priced (way lower than anyone else we looked at!). She worked from pictures of make up looks we showed her on our cell phones and was able to bring them to life even better than we could have expected. She even went above and beyond and stayed until right before we left for the wedding just in case we needed any last minute touch ups! I definitely cannot recommend her enough!

Dawna is amazing! She is kind, caring, skillful, and professional! During my consultation she ensured she understood what I wanted and catered to that. She made me feel like a princess in my Wedding Day! My wedding party looked amazing and so catered to all the skin tones and types wonderfully from Asian skin to Portuguese skin.... Everyone looked flawless and it last till the next morning.... On my flight everyone was complimenting me. (Did not have time to wash my face flight was right after wedding). I can't thank Dawna and Sandi enough for their kindness, skill, and services! If you have the opportunity I recommend Dawna!!!

Let me start off by saying that I am a crazy thorough researcher. I spent countless hours searching for my wedding vendors because I wanted to make sure I was getting the best of the best within my budget. So, let me save you some time: hire Dawna to be your makeup artist. Not only is she super professional, but she truly cares about each of her clients.

When I first reached out to Dawna, I had a whole list of recommended questions to ask a makeup artist (thanks Google search!) Dawna answered each and every one of those questions, and the dozens of questions that came after that. She was quick to respond and never seemed bothered by the endless amount of questions I sent her way.

For my trial and actual wedding day, Dawna arrived on time, ready to go. She did the makeup for me, my 4 bridesmaids and my mom. We truly all looked drop-dead gorgeous. Dawna took her time with each and every one of us making sure we absolutely loved our makeup before letting us leave the chair, and trust me when I say we all loved it.

To top it off, Dawna gave me a small bag of touchup makeup just in case I needed it throughout the day. I didn't end up needing any of it because my makeup stayed on flawlessly all day and all night until I wiped it off at 3AM before bed. Even though I didn't end up needing the items in the bag, it was reassuring knowing I had them in case I needed them. This just goes to show that Dawna covers everything down to the very last detail.

To those looking for a makeup artist, you really can't go wrong choosing Dawna as your makeup artist.

To Dawna, thank you so much for making me look absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. I've never felt so gorgeous as I did that day. You're not only amazing at what you do, but you're an amazing person as well! :)

I was searching the web, looking for makeovers services for my daughters wedding/cocktail reception. I found Dawna Kraft. Dawna was very responsive in getting back to me with questions I had about pricing and her services.I booked Dawna for a trial makeover for my daughter and self. Dawna did such a great job. She is so friendly and down to earth. We had such a great time as a girls night. So we booked Dawna again to do the reception cocktail party.Dawna did the makeover on my daughter Kaitlyn the bride, my daughter Kristin the Maid of Honor any of course mom. She did such a wonderful job. We received compliments all night. My friends were still talking about my makeover days after the reception. I would recommend Dawna for your next makeover for any function. She really puts her heart and soul into her work.

My husband and I had a destination wedding, but our parents wanted to hold a party back home to celebrate with friends and family who could not make it to Mexico for our wedding. My mother reached out to Dawna two weeks before the event hoping she would be available in such short notice. Dawna was quick to respond and set up a reasonably priced trial a week before the event.my mother, mother in law and I all did a trial and we all were impressed with her patience and professionalism with some picky people. Dawna was accommodating, understanding and strived to make everyone feel beautiful. On the day of my party, my sister who lives out of state had her make up done first, I'd say by far she is the most particular and picky... However, She had minimal tweaks here seeing she could not make the trial, but she loved it! My mother barely wears make up and Dawna's techniques made her look flawless!! She got sooo many compliments and went out to purchase the same products Dawna used. For my make up, Dawna took her time to make sure there was full coverage over some scaring and uneven skin tones, her airbrushing made my makeup last all night! As a bride I highly recommend Dawna's service for your wedding or other celebration. Her passion and willingness to please is evident in her work and positive attitude!

I recently had an event to attend for my husband's company. I have known Dawna for years and have always thought her own makeup looked natural and never over done. I couldn't think of a better person to do my makeup for this evening. My only guidance for Dawna was that I wanted to look natural. I couldn't believe how amazing my face came out! She is beyond professional and friendly at the same time. I felt completely comfortable with her. Dawna also applied false eyelashes on me. I was nervous as I didn't want it to look fake. I LOVED them!! No matter the occasion this is the makeup artist for you! Thank you so much and I can't wait to use your services again!

Dawna did my makeup for my mom, my bridesmaids, and me on my wedding day. She was absolutely incredible! Our makeup was flawless and lasted all night! Everyone looked so beautiful, the makeup highlighted everyone's natural beauty. She was professional and a pleasure to be around. She kept everyone calm and happy. Dawna was my makeup artist for my wedding this past June and let me just tell you that she is amazing at what she does. She made me feel and look like such a princess on my wedding day and what bride doesn't want that?! Throughout the whole wedding and reception I had so many people coming up to me saying how beautiful I was and how lovely the makeup came out. Not only was Dawna so great at makeup application, but she was also so easy to talk to and very friendly. I was quite nervous about all of the guests out there waiting for me to walk, and she was great at calming my nerves. I was so comfortable with her which is very important to be with your makeup artist. I cannot wait for the next wedding or formal event so that I could have her do my makeup again, and I will definitely keep recommending her to my family and friends. Dawna was my makeup artist on my wedding day. I am not one to wear a lot of makeup, and I was very nervous I wasn't going to look like myself in my wedding pictures. Dawna and I exchanged countless emails as I explained how I wanted to look, talked to her about my nerves and excitement and planned how the day would flow before I walked down the aisle. She was so responsive and eased all my nervousness. When she arrived she worked quickly and diligently. I really wanted fake eyelashes for the big day, but when she would try and apply them I would blink and end up gluing my eyes shut. She knew how important it was for me to have them, so she stuck with it and eventually we got it! It spoke so highly of Dawna's work ethic and the lengths she goes to in order to make her brides happy. (Believe me, it was hard work) I honestly can say I have never looked as perfect as I did on that day. I received countless compliments on my makeup! I was so happy that I decided to get my make up professionally done, and am so glad that Dawna was the one who made me look so beautiful. The makeup lasted all night, through tears, humidity, and sweaty dancing. She was by far the best wedding decision I made, other than marrying my husband.

Dawna did my makeup for my wedding and we could not say enough about her. She was very organized and made the day go very smooth. She was very open to any suggestions the girls had. She made each person in my wedding feel absolutely beautiful. The guest cannot stop talking about how beautiful we all were. She was punctual, and kept in contact with me prior to the wedding. She was so nice and made all of us feel so comfortable. I would recommend any bride or any other person to hire this makeup artist. I have already recommended her to my best friend and she is doing her wedding in November.

I really enjoyed working with Dawna. She ended up being not only a great make-up artist, but also a support system the day of. She was more than happy to stay late to do touch ups, as we were rushing between the first look, photos, the ceremony, more photos, and the reception. Leading up to the big day, Dawna was very responsive and engaged. I ended up doing two trials so I could really nail the look I wanted (I love make-up and I am sure I was not easy case). Dawna not only made herself available, and emailed with me, but she took much longer than the schedule time slot to make sure I was happy. On my wedding day, she did make up for 11 women (all by herself!), including 7 bridesmaids and three mothers. I had women ranging from very fair skin tones to deep brown. I also had some women who love to wear make-up and others that wanted a very natural look. She nailed everyone's look. She worked with each person to give them the look the desired, and somehow managed to us looking unified. Dawna is very sweet and all my girls enjoyed working with her. I would definitely recommend her services.

Dawna was a pleasure to work with. She treated my whole bridal crew and myself with such respect, patience, professionalism, and all with a genuine naturalness. Dawna is a true expert in her field. Dawna provided makeup services for myself and 7 of my bridesmaids for my wedding day (December 2016). After I initially had a trial with her, I knew she would be perfect. She is a perfectionist and it shows in her work!! I loved everything about my makeup on my wedding day and my bridesmaids got so many compliments as well. Although we had a super early start, due to an earlier ceremony time, Dawna made the morning stress free and seamless. There were some communication issues that were solved rather quickly. Overall Dawna is awesome and I would recommend her to any bride in a heartbeat!!
