Working with Michael and the staff at the Germack Event venue was amazing. Michael was so flexible and really helped us create the perfect wedding to fit our needs. My husband and I wanted a lounge set up and the team organized all the furnishings, lighting, decor and of course amazing food! They set up stations with different types of food - a Mediterranean station with a variety of dips, an Asian station with sushi and dumplings served in little Asian take out boxes, a slider bar with a variety of toppings and fries served in cones, and amazing passed hors d'oeuvres like shot glasses of ceviche and gazpacho. Germack Gave Away My Confirmed Dates - UNPROFESSIONAL
I gave 2 possible dates for an event, both on a Saturday. Annelise booked my event. It was held with a deposit, then about 45 days later, I was told that the event was double booked and the only dates left were on Sundays and during the week. I found this to be very unprofessional. I think they should have held the second date that I provided and contacted me by phone to see if I wanted it. Annelise had previously contacted me via text message and I responded immediately. Rather than contacting me via phone, Annelise sent an e-mail asking if I wanted to change my date, but did not state they made an error. Then waited until the second date was booked to admit that that they actually double booked the first date and neither of my dates were available. I think that they should admit mistakes and correct the problem as quickly as they process payments. Starting the process of finding a new space is challenging. Book with caution. You will need to double and triple check your date if you choose this venue.Sent on 05/16/2019
