Gene made our backyard wedding special - when we decided to postpone our party and have an intimate backyard wedding, Gene was extremely accommodating, very professional (and covid-safe), and just an all around amazing guitarist!

We hired Gene to play at our son's rehearsal dinner. He was a consummate professional on all counts. He quickly and expertly answered all questions and immediately recognized the "vibe" we were trying to achieve. His beautiful music and extensive repertory added intimacy and elegance to the gathering and was enjoyed by all. He even was a life-saver. When it came time for the rehearsal dinner speeches, we discovered that our venue had no microphone or amplification system. Gene to the rescue. He gave us one of his mics, attached it to his amp and .... situation solved! Thanks Gene. You truly helped to make this already memorable night, more perfect.

My husband and I are SO GLAD we chose Gene to play the music for our ceremony!! He collaborated with a cellist to play beautiful music for our guests as they waited and during the ceremony as well. My husband and I had Gene and Jordan play the guitar and cello for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour in June. They were absolutely wonderful! Gene was so easy to work with and even rehearsed a special song I requested for my bridal procession.
