Perfect wedding guiatrist!

Gene made our backyard wedding special - when we decided to postpone our party and have an intimate backyard wedding, Gene was extremely accommodating, very professional (and covid-safe), and just an all around amazing guitarist!

A Class Act

We hired Gene to play at our son's rehearsal dinner. He was a consummate professional on all counts. He quickly and expertly answered all questions and immediately recognized the "vibe" we were trying to achieve. His beautiful music and extensive repertory added intimacy and elegance to the gathering and was enjoyed by all. He even was a life-saver. When it came time for the rehearsal dinner speeches, we discovered that our venue had no microphone or amplification system. Gene to the rescue. He gave us one of his mics, attached it to his amp and .... situation solved! Thanks Gene. You truly helped to make this already memorable night, more perfect.

Gene was an absolute pleasure to work with. From our initial conversation, to our phone call where he actually played samples for me (and had me already in tears), to quickly and professionally answering every question I emailed him in between, he was kind, patient, and just an overall great person to work with. The music at my ceremony was beautiful and timed perfectly with the officient.

You need to hire Gene!

We could not be happier with Gene, from the moment we started contact. We hired him for our ceremony music and cocktail hour He responded quickly and gave us an extremely fair estimate. I left out details about the event that were pertinent to his schedule for the day, and he adjusted everything without a complaint and made it work. He had a wide variety of music to choose from, and make recommendations when I asked. My guests complimented him on how romantic sounding the solo guitarist was, and how he was able to take songs and make them his own. Leading up to the event, he made us feel like he was as excited for our wedding as we were. I would highly recommend Gene for your big day!

Perfect Wedding Ceremony Musician

My husband and I are SO GLAD we chose Gene to play the music for our ceremony!! He collaborated with a cellist to play beautiful music for our guests as they waited and during the ceremony as well. He has a huge list of songs to choose from and is extremely helpful and easy going- he really makes the process easy and fun! We couldn't be happier!

Absolutely Wonderful!

My husband and I had Gene and Jordan play the guitar and cello for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour in June. They were absolutely wonderful! Gene was so easy to work with and even rehearsed a special song I requested for my bridal procession. So many of our guests have commented on how beautiful the music was during the ceremony and cocktail hour. Gene and Jordan were exactly what we wanted and we are so happy they were a part of our wedding day!

My husband and I are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Gene. From the first contact we felt we had partnered with someone who really wanted to make our day special. He has an EXTENSIVE list of perfect songs to choose from. He even made the experience of choosing music easy by giving us some suggestions. He went above and beyond by learning a song for us that was special to the groom's mom. Having live music at our ceremony added so much sophistication and sincerity to our day-and for not a huge expense. Gene's prices were more than fair for the service he provides. We received wonderful feedback from family and friends on how wonderful our ceremony and cocktail house music was. Gene arrived early, he was professional, and a true gentleman. I would recommend him a thousand times!

5 stars all around! If you are considering guitar music for your wedding you need to look no further than Gene Pino. Gene is such a lovely man. From the moment we contacted him and through all our planning he was quick to respond and answer questions promptly. He initiated follow up with us and clarified things prior to our day. He is very professional and has such a positive engaging way about him. He made us feel like we’re the only couple who’s wedding he had ever done. He expressed his excitement to be a part of our day, and I do truly believe he gets excited to be a part of anyone’s day! Gene has an extensive list of songs he knows and can learn anything if you ask. We chose a song that he learned for us for our ceremony processional (which turned out better than we ever imagined!) and chose a song from his song list for our recessional. We let him pick from his selections for our cocktail hour. He plays oh so beautifully. Check out his website to hear some selections! We had so many comments on how talented he is and what a nice touch the guitar music was to our ceremony and cocktail hour. He is absolutely amazing. Music to our ears! Mr. Gene Pino and his colleague were a pleasure to work with on my wedding day! I booked Mr. Pino for our cocktail hour, and the music was very nice! It gave a very classy touch to our cocktail hour. He played a few contemporary songs including Jason Mraz I'm Yours which I really enjoyed!!! Don't think twice, he is a talented musician who is reasonably priced and a true professional! I used Gene as an entertainer over 2 full days during the largest B2B tradeshow event held at the Javits Convention Center in New York City. He created a wonderful ambiance on the show floor, and many attendees stopped and sat nearly to enjoy his talents throughout the day. He was easy to work with, adaptable to different situations, and his musical range is impressive. I would happily work with him again.

The thing about Gene is that he took a stressful situation and turned it into a relaxing experience. My wife and I had been looking for a musician for months and it had already become a point of contention. I was beginning to give up hope. Then my wife found Gene's website and played his music for me. When we spoke to him on the phone, he immediately assuaged our tension by telling us that he knew how to play every song we wanted him too and that there was one that my wife loved that he had no problem learning. Furthermore, his prices were fair and affordable. He was courteous, knowledgable and professional throughout the booking process and waited patiently for our confirmation of the date and whether we wanted him. When the big day arrived, he was there early, practicing and warming up. The music was the most flawless part of the ceremony and left nothing to be desired. Afterwards he slipped away, but not without giving me a big smile and humbly making his farewell. Truly, I love the memory of the role he played in my wedding and could not have asked for a better musician. I highly recommend him.

Gene was a fantastic addition to our day. He went out of his way to learn two different songs for us, which made the ceremony so special. He also played during our extended cocktail hour which added the perfect backdrop. He was very professional, had great energy, and is a very talented musician. Gene Pino was a wonderful addition to our wedding. Our wedding was held outside on August 29, 2015 at the Inn at Longshore and Gene and an accompanying cellist performed our beautiful ceremony and cocktail hour music. Gene was incredibly easy to work with, provided us with helpful suggestions and was a genuinely nice guy during our wedding planning. We would recommend him a million times over.

Gene did music for our cocktail hour at our wedding. Our cocktail hour was on the water and his music provided the perfect background for it. Gene is not only very talented but he is a pleasure to work with. He is nice/friendly, professional and responsible. He needed no instruction which I also appreciated. The day of the wedding is so hectic and Gene just fit in seemlessly, setting himself up and performing without me or the groom having to do anything. I am so grateful that he was a part of our day! I cannot recommend him enough!

We recently had Gene play our ceremony music at our wedding. He did a great job! When we first spoke he did not have the arrangements for the 2 songs that i wanted but he told me it was not a problem. He did both arrangements for me and they were both beautiful. Our cocktail hour musicians did not arrive as we planned, and Gene stayed an extra hour for us with no problem. We would definitely recommend Gene to anyone looking for music their wedding.

Gene Pino made our wedding planning experience an absolute pleasure. We asked that he play a very specific song which he mastered. Gene was such a pleasure to work with. I hired him a few weeks before my wedding. We had a quick chat about songs that I liked from the samples on his website and I was quickly at ease that I had the right person for our wedding day. Two days before my wedding I asked him if he could play a particular song for our 'first dance' and he made it happen with no qualms. Our guests were so impressed. Everyone was in tears when I came down the aisle to his and the cellist rendition of 'A Thousand Years'. It was truly magical. I wish I could do it all over in slow motion. I would recommend him in a heartbeat!

Gene was great to work with! I had very specific requests for my wedding ceremony music which he executed beautifully! He was very organized, responsive and made very helpful suggestions throughout planning. I was very lucky as I found Gene just a few weeks before my event and he did not hesitate to work with me, even learning a new piece to play for my procession. I would highly recommend Gene. He was one of the easiest of my vendors to work with and the music was absolutely beautiful! I can't wait to hear it all again on my video.

Gene is extremely easy to work with which is nice when dealing with the complications of wedding planning. He has such a calming and reassuring presence. Just meeting him once will give you a sense of comfort about this important aspect of your wedding. I looked forward to coming down the aisle and seeing him (don't tell my husband ;) and hearing the beautiful music we had chosen. All of this is matched with incredible talent, making Gene an excellent choice for a wedding or any event. His repertoire of music seems unlimited. We chose a mix of traditional and non-traditional music for our ceremony and Gene played it all masterfully. If you are looking for a musician for your wedding, you've found him! Stop looking and start getting excited about your special day!

Gene is an amazingly talented guitarist who catered his selections to our requests and environment. We felt so lucky to have him, and received multiple compliments from our guests. Gene's also very professional, which made all communication easy. He was on time and friendly.

Gene Pino, either solo or with a band, will not only give you outstanding music, he will make your event -- yours. He puts his heart and soul into his performance yet somehow doesn't overshadow. He has made more than a few memories for me! Couldn't say enough about Gene!

My husband and I got married on August 18th, 2013 and our wedding was held on a vineyard. We really wanted something unique for music and since we were having a small wedding with about 40 guests, we felt like a band or DJ may be too much. Once I found Gene, I fell in love with the music samples he had listed on his site. My husband and I met with Gene at his house, where he has a music studio filled with an array of guitars and other various instruments. Our meeting was so personable and some of the songs or types of artist my husband or I mentioned, Gene would begin to play on his guitar. He definetily knows music and has such a passion for it. If he didn't know some of the songs we mentioned, he said he would be able to look them up and learn them. My husband and I feel honored to have had Gene play throughout our wedding from the start of the ceremony to the end of our reception. He created a day filled with songs that brought back such fond memories for both of our families! He truly is wonderful!!

My daughters wedding was in our back yard. Gene was very helpful at suggesting and planning the music with the bride and groom. The reception was held at a local yacht club overlooking Long Island Sound. His selection of classic, pop and jazz standards played at the cocktail hour was excellent. The guests enjoyed his playing and the music very much. I would use him again.

Gene Pino directed a small jazz ensemble for our wedding. For the processional he plaid classical guitar along with a flutist. The band was 5 or 6 pieces and played mostly jazz standards which we had requested. The musicianship was very high, yet it was approachable jazz that appealed to all. Many of my relatives are old world Italians. When one requested the Tarantella, Gene and the band kicked right in and the dance floor looked liked a small village in southern Italy! All went home well entertained and happy. My wife and I will always have fond memories of the day in part thanks the Gene. Oh yeah, he's a great guy too!

Gene played at our very small wedding ceremony at Southport Harbor and was a little surprise I had for my husband, who was concerned there wouldn't be any music.
Gene was super easy to contact and book- he offered to meet beforehand for a listen but I trusted my gut and book him- he made our small ceremony complete!
I highly recommend him to any event large or small!

Gene was wonderful. He met and talked with us about what kind of music we would like and then suggested arrangements that worked perfectly for us. When planning the music for the ceremony, he had a number of ideas and choices for us which made it easy to come up with a selection that was personal to us. It was all music that made us happy! Gene was always professional, on time and eager to make sure we had a perfect day. I would totally recommend him to anyone!

Gene was the best. He put together a killer band for our wedding. We already knew he was a great musician & he was so easy to work with. All of our guests commented on how good the band was. We asked him for solo guitar during the cocktail hour and then full band for the rest of the evening. Gene delivered 100%. And this comes from a bride & groom who were both picky musicians themselves.

Gene was the perfect ceremony musician for us. We wanted live music at the ceremony without having something as formal as a string quartet, and he provided just the right mood, with creatively arranged acoustic takes on some of our favorite songs. He also specifically arranged a classical song on guitar per my request, and it sounded beautiful. He's also a really nice guy, really responsive and easy to work with.
