Our wedding was back in 2022 but I’ll never forget how perfect it was! They were so accommodating and quick to respond. We got a great deal after Covid and couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful place to be married. The lights and property were wonderful for pictures.

Gate Creek Ranch was everything we were wanting for our special day and more! Not only was it perfect looking and beautiful, the owners went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and helped with any questions or concerns we had! Quick to respond and were super helpful with ideas on where to hold our ceremony outside and gave ideas on how to set the tables for the reception! 1000 percent recommend this venue!

A++++ to work with! Phenomenal! The venue owners are so pleasant and sweet to work with. Their venue fit our vision and theme so perfectly that we couldn’t imagine our wedding being done anywhere else. Even the devastation of the Holiday fire could not mar the beauty of the property. We were so blessed that it was still standing and we could have our wedding on a place so natural and beautiful. We can never thank the DeLeon family enough for their hospitality and for sharing their beautiful space with us.

The wedding Venue characteristics are amazing, and we received many compliments on the beauty of the barn. We did a 3-day rental which was very nice to be able to have our rehearsal dinner, wedding and then clean up. Up until the wedding day the owners allowed us to visit the venue several times to survey the space, take measurements, meet vendors and ask questions. We were excited to see that the owners were adding onto the bridal suite, and bathrooms. They explained that it should be finished by the time of our wedding and we were disappointed to see that it was not, and it was an eye sore. As mentioned, the venue is beautiful but unfortunately the overall experience was overshadowed by how controlling the host was. The host frequently stepped in to (micro)manage small details, that didn't need oversight, which made the guests and wedding planner feel uncomfortable at times. we also paid extra to rent the stereo in barn. Where the music was turned down by the owner several times. (Cutting guest off at the bar early, turning down music while bridal party was getting ready) We hired the host as our bartender, paid the fee for them to serve our beer and wine, and also had to pay for special event liability insurance. Guests let us know after the reception that they only served beer and wine for a limited time, they were filling the cups up half full and when guest came back to get more, they stated it was too soon and they would not serve them. Unexpectedly, they closed the bar down for a total est. of a two-hour serving window. we ended up with almost all our beer that we purchased and a large amount of our wine. I can't stress this enough. This was a wedding, due to the host strictness of controlling the amount of beer and wine our guest was drinking I would highly suggest this venue be an alcohol-free venue or they should not be offering bartending services. We also received several comments from our guest of the host/bartender eating the wedding food and storing away the wedding cupcakes for their own share instead of serving our beer and wine and this was very disappointing to hear.

Very frustrating to experience this many restrictions when paying for a venue. There were not out of control guests, over intoxicated guests, this was a small event with food, beer, wine and sweets! We of course did not assume "anything goes". But we did not expect to have so many overbearing restrictions on such a special day. We want to be respectful, but also transparent to other potential wedding parties. The grounds are beautiful, the event staff truly were overwhelming at times, and made it feel as if we should be more worried about how cars were parked in their field, rather than our guests having a pleasant time.
