Our Wedding planning savior

Throughout every stage of our wedding planning process, Kate was there for us - we were planning from out of town, and her local knowledge of the city and vendors was invaluable. She was available anytime we needed her (which felt like a lot), and she was always happy to talk to us. She handled everything from vendor communication, to day of coordination, to helping us with the smallest of details that came up throughout the days leading up. Her calm demeanor and ability to stay on top of all of our personal details and deadlines was not only impressive but exactly what we needed. Kate was truly our best friend throughout the whole experience, we put our full trust in her and she made us feel great about our wedding every step of the way. We simple can’t recommend her enough!

Essential!

Kate was an incredible wedding planner. We envisioned an outdoor wedding ceremony and second line and she made sure it happening, keeping us calm and confident through iffy weather - it turned out perfect! We were planning from out of state and she helped us navigate every piece. Her insider knowledge really came in handy and she always remained calm and reassuring, which was critical for me. I could not recommend her more!

New Orleans wedding planner

It was great working with Kate. As a laid-back bride who was dreading wedding planning, she met me where I was. She set up regular check-ins to make sure that we were staying on top of planning. She is very knowledgeable in the New Orleans wedding scene and is able to make recs on vendors, decor, etc. She made the day of the wedding a breeze. I don't think we could have done it without her. I would recommend her to anyone!

Creative, resourceful, responsive. Couldn't have asked for more!

I'm so thankful for Kate from Gabrielle James Events! She made everything about planning our LARGE wedding feel easy. Even when the weather couldn't make up it's mind on our wedding day, she made sure that everything was set up to run smoothly and beautifully.

We wanted to go a non-traditional route, but Kate was never thrown off by our unique requests. She found so many ways to make our special day fit our vision perfectly! Our friends and family are still raving about the event, saying how it just felt like US.

Kate was also incredibly reliable and responsive, which took all the stress out of the process. We knew every step of the way that we could count on her. Thank you, Kate, for making our wedding the best day of our lives!!

Very Helpful!

I worked with Kate from Gabrielle James and she was great! She always followed up with us in a timely manner. She is very patient, sweet, experienced and knowledgeable. She was eager to have follow up videos calls and made us feel welcome to ask our endless questions! She helped us find vendors that we weren’t aware of. We would not have had the fabulous wedding we did if it were not for her. I did not have to worry about anything with her running the show on our wedding day. If you want a smooth, stress free, beautiful wedding, book Kate!

Downing Tassey Review of Gabrielle James

Kate offers packages which allows the couple to decide how much responsibility to accept and how much help they will need. We did some of the work and Kate was always available to help us navigate the process. She provided references to vendors with her opinion as to their fit for our wedding. The process left us to interview the vendors which was very helpful. We selected the venue, caterer, band, florist and photographer from Kate's vendor network. The result was that our wedding impressed all of our guests, who never stopped showering us with compliments. Our wedding went off without any problems, something I understand rarely occurs. This was a result of Kate's extensive resources and experience.

Graduation Party

Kate was referred to me through a local florist. I was hosting a graduation party for my husband, and needed help picking out food/drink, decor, flowers, etc. She was able to set up the venue perfectly and all of her decor suggestions came together beautifully. The flow of the party was seamless and I was really able to enjoy the planning process as well as the party. Kate has a ton of contacts and all of the vendors were fantastic. Her attention to detail is incredible. I would absolutely work with her again!

Expert advice and planning

Kate was a dream to work with for our small ceremony and celebration. I have a seven month old and live out of town, so I really needed someone I could rely on for recommendations and planning/coordinating. Our wedding day went off without a single hiccup and the planning was about as stress free as I could imagine. She was able to get her recommended vendors to adjust their offerings to our smaller scenario. She more than paid for herself by saving me considerable time and money. I was referred to Kate by a friend who used her for a larger occasion. I highly recommend Kate and will go back to her for all of my event planning needs in New Orleans.

We can’t thank Kate enough for our amazing wedding! Being from out of state we relied heavily on her for her knowledge of local vendors and all things New Orleans. Her recommendations were spot on and we couldn’t have ended up with a better group of vendors. Throughout the months of planning, I appreciated Kate’s speedy communication and attention to detail. Her calm personality kept our stress levels low during planning and the day of. We truly would not have change one thing about our special day! Thank you Kate!!!
