I hired Gabriela for my wedding due to her quick response and the lovely posed photos on her website. If you're looking for a wedding photographer, though, this is not a good choice. She is not experienced in running a wedding. I was impressed with her at the event but when I saw the photos I realized that she did not know where to stand for ceremony photos or was afraid to assert herself to get good photos. Ex: a photo of my dad giving me to my husband has someone's head blocking my face. I have no photos of the bridesmaids together. There was no creativity on putting together photos; just random shooting, photographing the hora from the ground which resulted in photos of people's backs. Much of the photos we liked were too blurry to be used. I have a series of dark photos taken with a roof backdrop; something I didn't notice with my back to it instead of the gorgeous foliage of the yacht club I carefully chose to get married in. The attitude in response was that I got what should be expected at her price. This was not the least expensive photographer I considered. I was offered a refund at first but I kindly opted to give her a chance to edit and it wasn't done. I did not receive even a partial refund. This is the most important day of your life. Ask exactly what the photographer knows about weddings. Ask to see full albums (I do not have a wedding album). For the full story see my Thumbtack review.
