Great Experience!!
After ordering junky online dresses for my daughter year after year, we wanted to find a boutique to actually try on the dresses and see them in person! Footlights boutique had an amazing selection and offered affordable HOCO and PROM dresses for every taste! Within 5 minutes, my daughter had 6 dresses to try on and they were all high quality and stunning on her. The owner is super sweet and had our dress altered and ready for pick up within 2 days!!!!! You can’t beat this kind of service!!! Highly recommend and we will definitely be going back for another dress for the next dance!

The Best Dress Ever
I went into Foot Lights looking for a dress. What I received was an experience. I was shown dresses that were of my requests and then given an opportunity to step into a gown that was my wedding dress. The support, the compassion, and the love these ladies showed me was top notch. I was given undivided attention and the love a bride should feel when trying on gowns. I was not cash in hand, I was a bride with a special day ahead. I am grateful I was given this opportunity to make my day the best ever. I enjoyed the experience and I love my dress! Thank you Ladies!

We went in for our first Prom dress, it was a fantastic experience! We tried on many dresses that we did not even think to look at but the ladies at the shop picked them out- they knew what size to look at, and what would look great, and after looking elsewhere- I was relieved at the lower prices and that they had such a huge selection. We will continue to go there for any future events.

When I first went in to the store, I was disappointed at how crowded the store was and that I couldn't really see the dresses through the plastic bags. However, I allowed the two owners to bring me dresses that they felt would look good on me. They really know what they're doing. I found they were honest and very helpful. I found three dresses that I loved. Two, of which I probably would have never tried on on my own.

I purchased my reception gown from them and my ceremony gown elsewhere. They altered both for me. I wanted some customizations and they did it perfectly. The cost was what I would have paid for one gown to be altered elsewhere. The Ginias are very funny and it was a pleasure.

I came across this dress boutique by chance and found my dream dress. I saw a beautiful dress in the window and went inside to ask if I could try it on. It was just my size and it was beautiful. One of the owners recommended a similar dress and that one turned out to be "the one". I used the seamstress they usually do, she did a wonderful job at a great price. I am so happy I happened to come across this place!

A pleasant surprise
Before stumbling upon this little shop, I had visited 4 different stores and tried on countless wedding dresses. I was looking for something simple, but elegant. Not a lot of frills or lace or a giant poof train. I was having a hard time finding that. At first glance, the store seems crowded with items and it's hard to really get a good look at the dresses. But the 2 ladies there were so helpful. They asked what I was looking for and my size and pulled a few dresses for me to try. And I found the one! I must say they were like the only store that actually brought me what I asked for style wise. My only complaint is that their "dressing room" is a closet-sized room in the cramped back office area with a flimsy lace curtain as a door. Not very private.

Don't waste your time at this "boutique"
Her inventory of bridal gowns were mostly yellow tinged and outdated. When I arrived for my appt that I booked 2 weeks ago, she screamed across the shop asking me what kind of dresses I was interested in while attending to her other client. So, I knew then it was going to be her juggling her time between ME and a group of 6 from New Jersey. She asked me where I was getting married as she stared at my engagement ring, while judging me. It was totally obvious. I told her North Carolina on the beach so I was looking for lace or chiffon, nothing full or bulky. While I waited I noticed dirty, dusty stuffed animals laying in the corner of the shop which was odd? She told me to take my boots off and just throw them behind the counter and asked if me jacket was wet from a few raindrops? (But I observed the other group that had a toddler eating gummy snacks while running in the "wedding dresses" , but she didn't mention anything about that.) SHE picked out 4 itchy, full tulle dresses and when I told her no, that wasn't what I was looking for, she became irate with me. Very disappointing and I am surprised she is even in business.

Visiting Footlights yesterday was the single worst shopping experience of my entire life. First off, the store is dark, dingy, and cramped. Secondly, there was an unfriendly dog wandering around the store, which was startling to see, as a customer, and can't be sanitary in general. When it came time to actually try on bridal dresses, I was astonished to see the curtain for the dressing room was entirely sheer, not to mention the fact that the employees kept coming in unannounced -while I was undressed!! In terms of service, I was also disappointed, as the owner kept bringing in dresses which were the exact OPPOSITE of what I had asked for. As she laced me into the dress, she and the other employees had a conversation about how much they hated lacing people into dresses! Way to make your customer feel guilty... Then, when I thought the experience couldn't get any worse, the owner asked me to step into a pair of shoes that looked 10 years old. The insides of the shoes were literally CAKED with brown gunk from hundreds of other customer's feet being inside them. When I asked if I could just wear my own flip flops, she told me no because the dress needed to be "elevated" so it wouldn't drag (this is just a sample, which the employees proceeded to drag across the floor anyway.) If you want a quality experience and dress, I HIGHLY recommend staying away from Footlights!!

I bought a dress 4-10 and it needed alterations, My Prom is only 10 days away and I have not received a phone call on my dress fitting.. what if this dress does not fit me, will they have time to fix it? OMG.
I call and they never answer the phone..
I have no clue why I let my dauther buy her dress here, this store was so dark and old fashion looking..
These people have worked here all her life and have not updated this store. Do not recomend this store for no one.
