Kristen did our flowers for our wedding in foxboro. She did awesome work. We loved working with her she was very fun and upbeat. She did the seating chart, party favors, and all the flowers for ceremony and reception.

Would Recommend!

Kristin is very skilled at her craft. She provided floral and event services for both my bridal shower and wedding. Both events came out absolutely beautiful! She went above and beyond. She not only helped with my flowers but also with other wedding event details such as linens, escort card table, custom wedding timeline board, save the dates, wedding invitations, and general advice. I would highly recommend her!

Don't Do It

Kristin did the flowers for my wedding, and they were beautiful. So why 2 stars? Because working with her was stressful, chaotic, and unpleasant every step of the way. I booked her too late to change florists - big mistake. Huge.

Highlights:
- Kristin, the owner, cancelled my viewing appointments four separate times. The excuses were elaborate: stuck in traffic downtown, and then also with a flat tire! Has Covid. Preparing for Easter. "Crazy day today."
- She did not give me a contract until I had paid a $1,300 deposit, which I then found out upon receiving the contract was non-refundable. I had to ask her multiple times to send the contract. She promised it several times, and then claimed she'd forgotten to attach it, or that she had meant to send it. It wasn't until I was really freaking out that she finally sent it.
- When I received the contract, it was not itemized. It was also $600 more expensive than we had agreed. When I asked her why it was more expensive, her story changed multiple times. I had asked for a seating chart. She had added more lanterns. How much were the lanterns? I have no idea, because the contract was not itemized.
- She arrived at the venue with none of the flowers ready. She just had loose cuttings that she put together morning-of. The bouquet I received was beautiful* (see next point), but clearly hastily-made because there was a bunch of loose thread from the ribbon around it. I had to pull that off myself. She finished the bouquets for the mothers of the bride and groom 1 minute before we were going to walk down the aisle. We had written them off at that point.
- She did not deliver on the things promised. There is one flower, the proteus, that she talked about at our first phone call, both viewing appointments, and via text afterward. It's an expensive flower that I was really excited to have in my bouquet. It was not in my bouquet. It wasn't in my wedding flowers at all. We had discussed LED candles, because my venue was in the woods, and fire was not allowed. I had also told her I didn't like candles floating in water, and she'd removed them. They were put out on all of the reception tables. The only reason we were able to keep them was that the venue coordinator was too busy to notice them - again, open flame was NOT ALLOWED. Just an example of how disorganized she is.

This list does not sufficiently capture how unprofessional, stressful, and off-putting Kristin was to work with. My day-of coordinator, my photographer, my bridesmaids, my AUNTS - they all independently noticed and told me how bad she was. One of my bridesmaids bravely called me to warn me against working with her. I had an entire, fully thought-out contingency plan for if she no-showed on my wedding day, because it was a serious possibility (my bridesmaids would go to Trader Joe's; my day-of coordinator would set the flowers out; we had already made our own seating chart and ordered our own lanterns because we didn't trust her to do that). I bought event insurance that included vendor coverage in case she no-showed.

Before you book, check out Flourish's Facebook reviews. And please, don't make the same mistake I did. Do yourself a huge favor and book ANYWHERE ELSE.

We were lied to, cheated, and swindled

We hired the Owner, Kristin, to co-ordinate our wedding and rehearsal brunch. There was a brief time period where she was good. Then the rails fell off. She promised services that she never performed, she promised goods that were never delivered, and she behaved in a very rude, unprofessional manner. She owes us money, for which she told us she would never pay. So we took her to court. We had our court date today. First we went to mediation, where, by her behavior, Kristin chased the mediator out of the room, close to tears. True story. The mediator was saying "I can't deal with this, I can't deal with this' over and over on her way out of the room. We then went into the courtroom to have our case heard by an adjudicator. Lots of lies and misinformation later, we were done. We get the results in a couple of weeks.

Long story short: read the other negative reviews, and believe them.

Beware! Very unprofessional and more

Brides beware I hope no one has to go through what we did and many others have with Kristin. She is very unprofessional and she and her shop are very disorganized. Upfront she never gave us a contract to sign and then canceled twice for “viewings”. It took her 2 months to present a contract but at that point we were not confident in her work or business. Every meeting we felt as though nothing was really getting done and never seemed to get my daughters vision But she says she put 40 hours into this already. Untrue ! After seeing bad reviews and Seeing many court documents on line and having our third appointment leaving worried we asked for our money to be refunded. She was very rude and unprofessional! We spoke on the phone and she agreed to refund us by the end of the month but sent email with dates that would take 4 months to refund the money. Today the first refund was due and nope no refund and no reply to my emails for the last week. I think she’s done this to so many people she doesn’t even care anymore. It’s sad! She also never delivered flowers my daughters future mother in law ordered and was very rude to her and it took a month to even get her money back for a simple birthday arrangement. It has caused us nothing but stress and I only write this so no future brides have to go through what we are dealing with. Court doesn’t even phase her! She just simply could careless

Be careful

I do not recommend working with this vendor. A wedding day of and week of is supposed to be one of the most wonderful days of a couples life. By hiring this vendor I had nothing but stress, anxiety, and upsetting morning getting ready knowing that half of the items I paid for did not get delivered (I.e my wedding bouquet, wreaths, an arch, set up/break down and a family heirloom she was in charge of bringing was smashed and not replaced or relayed to me until the day of). The centerpieces designed were pretty but that was it. I had to pay extra for things that did not show up the day of to make sure I had what was needed. Not worth the stress and being upset on my wedding day and then dealing with it still 65 days after my wedding try to get reimbursed for what was paid for that did not happen. I do not recommend.

Beware and stay clear

Kristin Erikson the owner of Flourish Floral and Event Design is a dishonest business women. She is a liar and a cheat and will tell you anything to to manipulate a situation in her favor if she thinks she has a chance to get money out of you. She takes the saying "fake it until you make it" to an entire different level. She is a scammer and can not be trusted. Since she has opened her first flourish location in 2016......... not 1999 like she claims, she has had to move her store to its 3rd and current location because of her dishonest and deceptive business practices. She has screwed over all of her landlords financially along with floral vendors, local business owners, customers, employees and even charitable organizations and friends. It pretty sad to say the least.

I was hired as a freelance designer to create floral arrangements for some of her events. We agreed upon an hourly rate for my compensation which has never been payed to me. I have been trying to get in touch with kristin for weeks in hopes to be payed for the work I preformed for her. Kristin has ignored my calls and texts for weeks. I have only been able to reach her when I call from a different phone number. When she realized who was on the other end she screams at me and then hangs up. When I show up at the store she says I'm not allowed at the store and I'm trespassing and threatens to call the police. I mean you truly can not even make this stuff up. Just look at the reviews on yelp, BBB, Google and others you will see the same story of Kristin Erikson stealing, lying and being dishonest. Always over promising and under delivering.

STAY CLEAR OF THIS PERSON AND BUSINESS!!! ESPECIALLY BEWARE TO NEWLY ENGAGED COUPLES. YOU DON'T NEED OR WANT THE ADDITIONAL STRESS OF DEALING WITH THIS CHAOS BEFORE AND AFTER YOU WEDDING.

**Also do not eat or drink anything from this place unless it is pre-packaged or in a single serve disposable bottle. She does not have proper washing and sanitation stations to properly clean flatware, stemware and the serving pieces that you are eating from. I am truly surprised nobody has become ill yet. This place literally has a foul smell**

Kristin Ericson accepted an order and payment from me to deliver a sympathy floral arrangement to a friend whose father had died. She never delivered the arrangement and although claiming she did, cannot offer proof that she did deliver. She charged my credit card for $212.50 and will not respond to my requests for help researching what happened (delivered to wrong address?) will not respond to phone calls or certified letters requesting a refund. After sharing my experience with other local businesses I learned she has also scammed a number of them, including Shovel Shop Gallery in Easton, MA and Chamber of Commerce in Easton, MA. I wish I had known her reputation before placing an order, which is why I am leaving this post to alert future potential customers.
