I began baking as a child and always found it very relaxing. When I was pregnant with my first child I was invited to a Halloween party and asked if I could bring anything. My girlfriend asked me to bring a cake. I went to the Wine and Cake Shoppe and of course, picked the coolest but more difficult cake I could, a 3d witch's head. It was so much fun to make. People loved it and began asking me to make other cakes for them. That is how Flour Power was born. I still find it very cathartic to bake. A cake is my canvas and I love my art from the design,to baking, decorating and cleaning up. One of the greatest pleasures of my job is making people happy.
