I just had my wedding at the Fisher Inn on 10/18/22. The staff was amazing and the property is a blank slate with gorgeous views. Our guests were given great nightly rates and really enjoyed their stay as did we! The rooms are newly updated and very nice! Our wedding took over the inn for 4 days and it was perfection! The staff was so accommodating and wonderful to work with. Especially Thomas & Ashley. We were able to bring in everything from rentals, catering (we used The Shrimp Shack Jill, her staff and the food was amazing!!!) and even our own liquor. We will definitely be back to stay there on our next visit! i can't recommend the the Fisher Inn enough for a DIY wedding!!

My brother recently got married at this resort and he rented both Fisher Inn and Drop Anchor for all of his guests. It worked out perfectly! The staff at Fisher Inn was super kind and accommodated well since there was a tropical storm =) Stephanie checked in a few times via text which I felt was a great touch. I felt as though the hotel was right at my fingertips if I needed anything. I also really appreciated the line "Let me know if you need or forgot anything. I can also bring it from my house tomorrow." How sweet!! The rooms were super clean was plenty of space for the weekend festivities. Guests loved the property.

Overall, the personable service is what really made this place such a memorable experience. Thanks again!

This is a newer resort so they are still working out the kinks for hosting large groups and events (especially when it comes to the booking process), but they were awesome! Despite the kinks, everyone one on their staff earned them 5 Stars when it came to the actual events! The GM Leanne was kind, and Jenn in the front office was quick to respond and answer all of my questions leading up to the day. I rented the entire resort for the weekend, and I was able to host a Welcome Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding Ceremony & Reception, and Farewell Brunch. Everyone here was sooo accommodating and helpful, and made sure that my group and I had everything we needed. They worked well with my vendors for all set ups and pick ups. My family insists on coming back to this resort to stay for a vacation in the future!

Pros: The space for the wedding is a perfect blank canvas. Nice beach, nice pool area, great area with games and fire pit and string lighting near the hotel building. Pet friendly. Flexibility with vendors and bringing in my own alcohol!!

Cons: Needs more lighting on beach (otherwise brides have to rent string lighting or tent with lights which can be expensive!).

We booked our wedding at Fisher Inn and it was absolutely beautiful! This venue is definitely working out the kinks in how to host weddings.
We originally contracted the venue with the venue coordinator at the time who was fired not long after. Unfortunately the reception contract had not yet been made for us so they were no longer willing to accommodate things that were promised to be provided for us (tables, chairs, and an arch). This was a bit of a let down since this significantly raises the cost. Moving forward though, everything was pretty easy and the staff was very accommodating. It is worth noting that when we signed, no contract was made for the wedding itself, just the venue buy-out. This means that nothing was specified as far as insurance requirements, decor limitations, set-up or breakdown limitations etc. (this may be a good thing for couples). This also meant that nothing is included (bridal suite, tables,etc.). This venue is truly a blank slate and DIY project (which is what we wanted). One majorly helpful thing for us was that since this was a destination wedding, they allowed us to ship many boxes to the venue and held them for us before and after without issue.
All that being said though, we are located out-of-state and much to our surprise upon arrival for our wedding weekend, there was a large construction project (Fisher owned) happening right behind our reception space. This was incredibly upsetting considering no one notified us. However, they did bring in plants and a bamboo wall to try and mask the construction eye-sore.
Unfortunately, upon leaving we realized we were charged an extra $900 for rooms. This is still being sorted out and our money is in limbo (which is not good when trying to pay off wedding expenses).
All in all though, our wedding turned out BEAUTIFUL. The staff was very attentive and helpful and we had full flexibility to run our day as we wished. We were also able to host a rehearsal dinner on-site the day before free of charge. The resort was a perfect place for friends & family to stay since it is small and intimate. I would definitely recommend Fisher Inn for the DIY bride.
