From our very first call, I knew Emma was the one! As a visual person, I loved how she created a custom Canva mood board that captured our colors, style, and seasonal floral options perfectly. She even knew our venue and offered expert tips before we’d even booked her. Emma was always responsive and made the entire process seamless. On the wedding day, the florals were absolutely breathtaking and beyond anything I could’ve imagined. Emma is hands down the best!

Emma was both my florist and wedding planner. She helped me navigate rescheduling due to covid then again because of a hurricane. She helped me when other vendors weren’t delivering what was promised. She also created wedding flowers for me for the 2021 wedding that was rescheduled due to Henri then again for 8/7/22 wedding. Both times the flowers were absolute perfection.

As a wedding planner, Emma is an absolute angel! Having rescheduled twice and having a myriad of other problems leading up to all three dates I was a wreck by 8/7/22. I reached a point where I was fluctuating between complete procrastination paralysis and extremely intense perfectionism. Emma rode the waves as though she had been my best friend since birth. She knew exactly when to push me along, when to let me vent, when I needed to be hit with the truth that I needed to calm the heck down. At the wedding I found myself wanting to hang out with her because she felt more like a super helpful bridesmaid than a vendor. When I came over to chat with her she immediately wanted to help with whatever my concern was then told me to go sit down and eat my dinner when she realized I was chatting. Haha. She was right too. I didn’t feel hungry, but once I started to eat I realized I needed to.

My daughters are currently 14 and 9. I hooe they want sweet 16s and big weddings because I want more excuses to hire First Blush. I could not recommend them more if I tried!

Her prices were also competitive. Because I essentially had two weddings worth of planning and flowers I’m not exactly sure what I paid. I want to say flowers plus planning was roughly $5000. That sounds like a lot, but don’t let that scare you away. She has different packages and is willing to work with you to find ways to make it as cost effective as it can be. I has A LOT of flowers. So so so many on the tables, 6 bouquets, fireplace mantle pieces, greenery in the tent, potted plants on cocktail tables that I got to take home…there were a lot. I could have have had less and I could have asked for less expensive types. She was willing to be flexible. She also did several tasks i could have theoretically done myself but just couldn’t. Best money I have ever spent!

I worked with Emma on a romantic New England wedding. Emma is exceptionally talented. Her work speaks for itself. She is able to adapt to any circumstance. What's great, she is not just a florist, she is a true artist at heart. Her artistry comes alive through and through in the details. So whatever vision a couple has for their wedding, can only be enhanced by her touches.

We didn't book a florist until super close to the wedding and were afraid of what we'd end up with, but we found Emma with First Blush and in the first phone call, IMMEDIATELY made me comfortable and reassured (a hard job for anyone honestly). She spent as much time as I needed talking w me about style and all sorts of ideas I had, got into as much detail as I wanted, which helped so much! Plus was super accommodating to our budget and gave real advice to help me reign it in when I might've started going crazy with extras that no one cares about. I still can't believe she was able to take all my random ideas and stress-rambling (including multiple calls and last minute changes) and turn it into some of the most beautiful arrangements I've ever seen. To say they were perfect and exactly what I didn't even know I was envisioning doesn't do it justice! Not only that, but she even gave advice about other decor ideas we were struggling with, something she absolutely did not have to do but did because she obviously cares! My fiance/now husband, family, and basically everyone went on about how impressed they were at how great everything looked! I wish I had more events we could work together on because that's how great of an experience we had!! If you want high quality, detailed, drop dead gorgeous floral arrangements, at a reasonable price with as wonderful honest and caring a person as Emma is to work with, you absolutely should call First Blush!! Only thing I would've done differently is book her as the wedding planner from the start! THANK YOU SO MUCH EMMA!!!

We were blown away by Emma and our entire experience with First Blush. We had a very fuzzy vision of our picture for our wedding day, and from the beginning conversation with Emma, she brought clarity and creativity to work with us in bringing our vision to life. Emma was extremely professional and just downright kind. From her initial design proposal, to her quick responsiveness in adjusting details, to her reassurance and recommendations when making decisions along the way, Emma was truly a joy to work with. During the height of the pandemic, Emma was transparent and had our best interests at heart, proactively explaining the impact the pandemic was having on the floral industry and how she would advocate for bringing our vision to light, but acknowledging we may need to pivot based on availability. Furthermore, Emma went above and beyond -- sending us the KINDEST care package to celebrate our engagement, and another gift after we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID. Emma brought a rawness and realness that is special and somewhat rare in partnering with vendors. By the end of the journey, Emma felt like an old friend who we shared an amazing journey - and ultimately a beautiful end result. Our bouquets, chuppah, table arrangements, welcome floral display, and details on our memorial table and place settings table were all BEAUTIFUL and we will have friends and family complimenting how gorgeous everything was. I can't recommend First Blush enough. You'll be signing up to partner with a vendor who wants to bring your vision to light, bringing to the table her own creative eye and expertise, and caring for you and your future spouse in every way.

I cannot recommend Emma highly enough as both a planner and a florist! Our wedding plans, like many others, changed throughout COVID. Emma was much more than the "month of" planner we hired her for. She was calm, professional, and creative in helping us come up with plans A, B, and C. And when it came time to (finally!) execute our reception, I couldn't have asked for a better day. She made sure every detail was attended to so that my husband and I could relax and enjoy ourselves. First Blush also did our flowers, which were absolutely gorgeous and got so many compliments throughout the night!

Emma and her team at First Blush were incredible to work with from the beginning. Emma was able to make sense of all the ideas floating through my mind and created the most beautiful floral designs. Our ceremony featured a baby's breath arch that our guests continue to talk about! The candles that she carefully placed throughout the property provided the warm and romantic ambiance I was looking for. I have nothing but positive things to say about First Blush and absolutely recommend !

Emma was simply fantastic. She captured exactly what I wanted and even added some extras that made my vision of my wedding bouquet even more fabulous. Even from our first phone call, I knew that Emma was an artist that took her craft very seriously and tries her best to capture the essence of her clients. I received so many compliments on my bridal bouquet. She is, no doubt, the best!

Emma really knows her stuff. She listened carefully to what we were imagining and worked within our budget to create beautiful floral decorations. Everything was so unique and reflected us and what we wanted for the wedding. She and her team were responsive, professional, friendly, and worked quickly.
