Finer Details is a husband and wife wedding planning business based out of Springfield, Missouri. This couple decided to open up their own wedding and event planning business after helping their daughter plan her wedding in 2017. Prior to their daughter’s wedding, they were always the event planners for their employers, family, and friends. Since their business began, they have had the opportunity to work with many different vendors to execute both small and large weddings and events.

Makes you feel like family!!

Vicki and her team truly made our wedding day special. As a wedding coordinator she was easy to communicate with and did a fantastic job running the day. Her husband captured all the key moments for our wedding video. They were great to be around and made the day go by smoothly. Not to mention the video turned out great! We can’t recommend them enough.

Exceeded all expectations

Finer Details helped make our day stress-free, smooth, and classy. Using both husband and wife on our special day helped my husband and I to just relax, enjoy the party, and spend time with those we love. All the details!

As full time wedding photographers we have had the opportunity to work with many planners throughout the years. We know how tough it can be to stay on schedule, but Finer Details is there for you, making sure your day goes according to plan. They spend time coordinating with your vendors making sure everyone understands your timeline. George and Vicki genuinely care about their clients having the best wedding day imaginable, and they go above and beyond to make it happen. That makes them a 5 star vendor in our book!

Extremely Attentive to Every Detail

As a local wedding photographer I get to work with a lot of wedding vendors and I can honestly say that working with Vicki was a breath of fresh air. She was extremely attentive to not only the clients, but also all of the vendors to ensure that everything was going well and we had everything we needed. I highly recommend Vicki with Finer Details if you're looking for somebody to take some of the stress out of planning your big day!

Above and beyond!

Vicki did above and beyond what I expected from a day of coordinator! From our first phone call to the cleanup at the reception, she was on it!!! As mother of the bride, I was able to enjoy ever second of the day! Vicki took care of ever detail with ease and efficiency! As videographer, Rusty was a calm presence in the background, but captured those precious moments not everyone got to see! I can not say enough wonderful things about this couple and their services as coordinator and videographer! I didn’t think a coordinator was in my budget, but I’m so glad they were affordable! They truly deserve ten times what I paid them!!! I have a few more weddings in my future and I wouldn’t want to do them without Vicki and Rusty! In a few short days, they became a part of our family! I love this couple!

The name “Finer Details” is perfect!

Vicki thought of everything to make the day perfect! She was an invaluable part of the decision process. After our first meeting we were much more prepared to choose a venue and to make all of the other decisions. She helped us make a timeline so we felt much more confident about the entire process. We couldn’t have been happier with the process and the result.

Above and beyond expectations

Absolutely amazing! Vicki and George were fantastic to my husband and I from wedding planning to Videography they had us covered! Vicki was so organized and kept everything on track even though trying to plan a wedding during a pandemic was rough sometimes! Our wedding day was even better than I could have imagined. Everything was organized and flowed so smooth despite rain and a last minute move inside for the ceremony. The video George did is absolutely breath taking! It captured all the moments that were so important to us and was so well put together! I cried more ugly tears . Words really fail to explain how fantastic everything went that day! I highly recommend both Vicki and George for all your wedding needs. If you are on the fence about needing a wedding planner or videographer... just do it it was so absolutely worth it!
