Jessica Yahn Photography is a wedding photography company in Springfield, Missouri. Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life, which is why I am so happy that you are considering including us to be a part of it. I currently commit to a limited number of weddings per year to ensure that your day remains a priority. Photography is all about connection and your photographer will be one of the biggest and longest-lasting connections you'll share with any of your wedding vendors. I strive to create beautiful portraits, but also lasting relationships with my couples. When you book with us, you are not just a client, you become part of the JYP family! I am honored to have the opportunity to laugh...to cry...to share your love story.
Our style is deeply ingrained in a storytelling approach. While we are happy to grab the formal & beautifully posed images, my goal is to also capture the true moments and the emotion of the day. Of course, I am there to photograph the "big" moments like your first kiss as newlyweds, but I also want to capture the little moments just as much. I want to catch you having an amazing time laughing with your friends while getting ready, or the flower girl twirling in her dress while she feels like a mini-princess. I'm looking for mom or dad's tears when they see you for the first time and those small squeezes of the hand from grandma giving you a little extra love & reassurance. And then after the "I Do's" have been said, you've shared your first kiss and you get a moment to breathe...I want to look for that moment when you exchange a small look of happiness when you realize that you now have the rest of your lives together to adore & support one another.
Your wedding is more than just pretty pictures - it is also all of the moments in between the poses.

She kept in communication with us throughout the planning process- even going as far as to let me know about events I may want to attend.
The portal and questionnaires ensured everything was taken care of before the wedding day.
The wedding day came and Jessica, Taylor and Seth got to work. They arrived on time and were self sufficient (I didn’t want to have to prompt my vendors to do anything)
They got all the shots we wanted plus countless others. We went to an “off site location” and the photographers turned into hikers for the right shots.
Seth and his drone abilities shined here.
All in all, I could not have picked a better Photo/video team. Jessica even saved the day when my wedding planner left with our marriage license! They captured our day in a way that represented us best.
***An amazing feature after the fact, is that all of our photos and the video are still accessible in the portal (after a year and a half!) I had a friend get married and she had 90 days to extract all of her photos from another photographers portal.***

Jessica was great to work with! She came with enough time to take getting ready pics and had amazing ideas for shots! She was very professional, kind, and courteous to all the professionals working on the wedding party! To top it off, multiple sneak peaks were available within a day or 2! There is nothing more exciting then to see photos of how everything comes together after an event! I would recommend Jessica for photography!
Jessica is a wonderful photographer and creates beautiful, storytelling images. She especially has a heart for military families, and is very involved in her clients' wedding process, giving them wonderful images as well as exemplary customer service.
