I’m Casey, the photographer behind Captured x Casey, serving Springfield, Missouri, Southwest Missouri, and beyond. My approach combines genuine, candid moments with guided portraits that feel natural, romantic, and completely like you.
And if you’re thinking, “But we’re so awkward in pictures…” — you’re in the right place!
You don’t need to know how to pose. That’s my job. I’ll give you direction when you need it, keep things moving when wedding-day chaos inevitably happens, and step back when the moment is better left alone. My goal is for you to look amazing without feeling like you spent your entire wedding day at a photoshoot.
After 17 years as a teacher, I’m also pretty hard to rattle. Big families, wandering groomsmen, timeline changes, nervous brides, unexpected weather—I’ll bring the calm, the organization, and usually a little humor when we need it most.
I want to capture the photographs you know you want and the moments you didn’t even realize were happening—the nervous smiles, happy tears, ridiculous dance-floor moments, quiet glances, and all the little pieces of your day that make it yours.
