We are Brenda Jeffries and LeeAnn Wantland. We met 8 years ago when I (Brenda) was a high school teacher and had LeeAnn’s girls in my classes. Over time we came to be very good friends. The summer of 2017 I got married and it was wonderful! One of my biggest issues I had was having a vision for the type of seating I wanted, but I didn’t like the selection that was available for weddings. It is always either hay bales or the standard white folding chair. I was not satisfied with either and was determined to have unique seating options. I was in love with the idea of mis-matched antique chairs. So through no easy feat I got a hold of 100 chairs at an auction. However, it was going to be a three hour drive to get them and I needed someone with a big enclosed trailer. LeeAnn was my go to. She has one son and three daughters. I had two of the three in my class. She is a mother, wife to a dairy farmer, and works a full time job. She spends her free time traveling the state watching her kids play volleyball and basketball throughout the school year and all summer at the fairgrounds while the girls show cattle. We loaded up in the truck and began our drive. Along the way we began to joke about the possibilities of having a business hauling chairs for weddings. The more we talked about it, the more it was coming to life. Suddenly, we knew we were on to something. I broke out an old notebook I had in my wedding planner and we started to create our business plan. At the end of our 10 hour day that ended with a walk to the gas station for gas, we had a plan. So, after I returned from my honeymoon, we put the plan to action. We had a date set for a starting date and we took off. Thus, Pull Up A Chair was born! We couldn’t be happier with the response we have had and are so excited where this is going to go in the future! LeeAnn and I love our brides and absolutely love seeing your visions come to light.
