Where do I even start? Jessica is probably hands down the easiest person we worked with on our wedding. We unintentionally scheduled our wedding on Mother's day and this was obviously an important day for her, but she worked with us anyway. She worked through our foolishness (my husband and I are incapable of being serious in most situations), and often would join in on the fun. She also provided a schedule of events which was incredibly helpful for me as I had no idea what I was doing. Jessica is an amazing photographer, but that is not really the best quality here. She is an amazing person all around and I highly recommend her!

Looking Back on our Best Day
Jessica did an absolutely amazing job in every aspect. She was so easy to communicate with and obviously experienced. She was so adaptable to fit our vision for the day. Day of, she and her assistant were prompt and things moved along so smoothly. They did an amazing job durning the ceremony and reception of blending into the crowd and capturing genuine moments. There wasn’t a moment I was worried about the photos coming out perfectly. She got our 1000+ photos back to us in just over a month and was so great when we requested some small additional edits. Overall we can’t recommend Jessica enough and are so glad to have all the perfect moments from our day memorialized so beautifully.

Absolutely Amazing!!
Jessica was absolutely amazing and we are incredibly pleased with our decision to use her as our engagement and wedding photographer! She was a great communicator who went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day went smoothly. Jessica being so organized and on top of things made our wedding experience much less stressful than it otherwise would have been. Neither my husband or I are super comfortable in front of a camera, but Jessica’s directions and attitude put us at ease and made for a very enjoyable experience. Our wedding day went just according to plan, and so so much of that credit goes to Jessica! Taking everything we had spoken about into consideration, she put a wedding day timeline together for us; that was a huge stress relief! Jessica was amazing leading up to the wedding and I couldn’t of been any more pleased.
I had so much confidence in Jessica leading up to the wedding day, and she did not disappoint! She was organized, had a plan, and followed it just as we had discussed. When hiccups arose, she was a calming presence who quickly adapted and made the absolute best out of the situation.
Now, on to the photos! Jessica is a remarkably talented photographer who captured our wedding day better than we could have imagined. The photos all turned out so good and she was able to capture so many moments that we, as the bride and groom, were not able to witness in the moment. Our couples portraits, wedding party photos, and family photos were stunning. We are also so incredibly grateful for Jessica taking the time to photograph our guests during the reception. She was able to capture every moment with such authenticity; we love to look back at the photos and relive the day.
I would whole-heartedly recommend Jessica to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!!

How do I even begin!? Jessica is hands down the best! She captured every single detail of our very busy and beautiful wedding! Our wedding day was honestly a blur, but everything that I or my husband could have ever wanted was captured, and I’m able to look back and relive one of the best days of my life over and over again. She not only is an amazing photographer, but an amazing human being. When it came to portraits after our ceremony, she handled my husbands very big family with ease and kept everyone on schedule without compromising the quality of her work. Her associate, Chrystal is also amazing and does amazing work! I still get compliments from friends and family about how friendly Jessica and Chrystal were at our wedding. Jessica was the best photographer we could have picked. She worked with us to create a custom package that fit our budget and needs.
She kept in communication with us throughout the planning process- even going as far as to let me know about events I may want to attend.
The portal and questionnaires ensured everything was taken care of before the wedding day.
The wedding day came and Jessica, Taylor and Seth got to work. They arrived on time and were self sufficient (I didn’t want to have to prompt my vendors to do anything)
They got all the shots we wanted plus countless others. We went to an “off site location” and the photographers turned into hikers for the right shots.
Seth and his drone abilities shined here.
All in all, I could not have picked a better Photo/video team. Jessica even saved the day when my wedding planner left with our marriage license! They captured our day in a way that represented us best.
***An amazing feature after the fact, is that all of our photos and the video are still accessible in the portal (after a year and a half!) I had a friend get married and she had 90 days to extract all of her photos from another photographers portal.***

I had six hours of photography with Jessica, and she made my photography dreams come to life. It was important to me that the photos were real-life photos that I could look back on and remember the day in an accurate way. She was patient with my changing shot list up to the wedding day, and she has been very responsive throughout. Throughout our day, she ensured I was getting the photos I wanted. While I only got her for six hours, she captured me getting ready, some of the minor details of our ceremony, as well as all the big moments of our reception. I'm less than a week out from our wedding, and I already have sneak peeks to tide me over. Can't wait to see the rest! I can't say enough nice things about Jessica. 10/10 would recommend.

I hope I can do Jessica Yahn Photography justice in this review. I had followed her on social media for years, and we booked our wedding location partially to have her as our photographer. We chose our date around her schedule. I am so glad we did. I literally cried when I first saw our sneak peeks, because they were more than I could have ever envisioned. Our wedding photos are literally perfect. Not a lot of brides get to say that, but I do, because I trusted Jessica and Chrystal to do what they do best. Beyond that – they became honorary family. From the engagement session where Jessica put my very (very, very, very) anxious nerves at ease, to helping us schedule our entire day to ensure we could capture the moments we wanted, and then to running interference and genuinely caring about me, my husband, our families, and our big day…I cannot say enough about the work and professionalism of Jessica and her team. I have never seen more amazing photos of myself, and capturing all the things we didn’t even think about. Jessica Yahn isn’t just your photographer, she’s a teammate in your wedding day – she wants it to succeed and be as gorgeous as you do, she wants you to be happy, not just because you are her client, but because she cares about you. Made our wedding!
From our first phone call with Jessica, we knew we were in good hands. She was extremely professional and instantly put us at ease about any potential worries about how our big day was going to go. She helped us envision our day and make it absolutely perfect as well as being flexible with us as we were traveling in from out of state. On our wedding day Jessica and Crystal did a wonderful job connecting with our families, the wedding party, and friends to get the wonderful pictures we have now. She frequently checked in with me and my husband as the day progressed to make sure we had everything we needed. And when we had an emergency that threatened to end the night on a stressful note she was extremely helpful and stayed past time to get the last few photos we wanted once we were assured everything was ok. I can't recommend Jessica Yahn and her photography enough.

One of the best decisions we made!
I really don't have enough good things to say! When we started planning our wedding, we reached out to Jessica and she asked a lot of good questions about what we wanted from our day and from a photographer; she was very candid about which of her services we might need to get what we wanted, and didn't try to up-sell us on extras. Moving forward, she was great about keeping in touch with us and helped us detail an itinerary for the day, which was really helpful for coordinating with other vendors; she even fielded questions about what colors would and wouldn't work best together for outdoor photographs at our particular venue. On the day of the wedding, she and her assistant Crystal were very friendly and professional, and were able to quickly coordinate our families and friends for all of the pictures we wanted. At the reception, they went way above and beyond: toward the end of the night there was a medical emergency that shut the party down early, and instead of heading out or staying on the sidelines, Jessica and Crystal helped our family, gathered us and other guests for more photos while cleanup was going on, and stayed extra late to make sure the night went as smoothly as it could under the circumstances. We were already incredibly grateful, and then we got the final photos a few weeks later! They are amazing: Jessica captured the day as I remember it, and we couldn't be happier with our choice of photographer!

They went above and beyond for us on our engagement session to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. At our wedding we recieved so many compliments toward the photographers. All of which we already knew, but it just helped confirmed our thoughts of us "hitting the jackpot" with our photographer.
Our photos are to die for and we are struggling to not "favorite" ALL of them. Seriously, they are that good!! Jessica even had them edited and ready for us well before our contract date.

Brought happiness to my wife
Jessica is everything that I could have wanted for our wedding. First of all, and the most important thing, she was everything that my wife wanted as a photographer and brought pure joy to my wife. As a husband that's the most important thing I could ask for. In addition, she has a great level of detail to her photos and thinks of each photo as the only one she is producing. Wow are we glad we chose Jessica Yahn Photography for our wedding. Jessica was absolutely wonderful from the moment she arrived for our wedding. She was outgoing, kind and immediately started finding beautiful shots for our photos. Jessica worked quickly to ensure we got all shots we requested and Chrystal was always there to catch small details like how my dress was positioned or a random stray hair. Jessica and Chrystal made us feel comfortable when taking photos and helped us pose just right (as posing is not our speciality LOL). They were so very flexible when we got DOWNPOURED on during our reception. They simply rolled with the punches and stayed positive which is all we could have asked for. My most favorite thing was that even when things got off schedule and did not go as we planned out, they made it work anyway. Within FOUR DAYS I got a sneaky peak of the most gorgeous photos and I’m already in love with them. I cannot wait to see the rest. Jessica Yahn Photography is well worth the price and I will argue forever that she is the greatest wedding photographer for southern Missouri. I cannot say enough great things about Jessica and her work. I chose her out of six other photographers in the area I interviewed to come along with us to the Cayman Islands to photograph our wedding and I do not regret that decision one bit. If you’re looking for a destination photographer to take with you I strongly suggest bringing one that you know and trust. I love her work and it’s natural style which Is something I wanted. She listened to every question I ever had she followed a schedule and stuck to it she ensured that I got the pictures I wanted she was very easy-going. I felt valued as a client and not just another person to photograph or just another wedding, she truly cares about her clients and going above and beyond her work and getting to know both of us as a couple. That’s never something I’ve never experienced with photographers in the past. I will always continue to use her in the future. She was extremely ethical and punctual. I HIGHLY recommend Jessica, you will not regret it!

Jessica was beyond what I could have asked for in a wedding photographer! She was patient (big family :), punctual with our time we had allotted for the day, and perfectly creative with our bridal party photos and portraits! She helped make a timeline and made a list of specific photos we wanted taken so nothing would be missed or forgotten! I loved how flexible she was on our picture locations while still keeping us on track for time purposes!
The absolute best thing was that we were able to get most of the kinks ironed out before my husband and I even got into town (we currently live in CO, but were married in MO) It was so nice how personal she was even from afar! We are over the moon happy with our outcome from Jessica! If I ever get married again (hopefully not) I will definitely be seeking out Jessica Yahn Photography! Thanks again girl!!

Jessica exceeded our expectations for photography on my daughter’s wedding day! She was calm but efficient in getting the shots we wanted! She took time to get to know the bride and groom to better know what was good for them on their day, and not just snap a “cookie cutter’ list of pictures! She captured them beautifully! When I was picking my photographer for my wedding I wanted someone who would get to know my style and expectations for the wedding. Doesn't every bride want that? You only get 1 chance to get pictures to represent that special day! Jessica was very detail orientated and friendly to work with. Jessica is a frankly incredible photographer. My husband and I chose her for our engagement and wedding photos, because she has a somewhat journalistic style - her photos feel natural and alive. We were so pleased with how the photos came out that I'm fairly certain we will choose her should we need photos for anything in the future!
The engagement session was a snap. She has a way of making you feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera even if you are chronically Not Photogenic - you won't be able to tell in her pictures! The photos were beautifully put together and truly showcased our personalities.
The same was true of our wedding photos! She was more than happy to include any posed photos we wanted and pictured of the venue - and worked with the lighting in our venue. Our bridal party pictures were fun and pretty and really Us, not just Another Wedding Photo that could have been anyone. Really, we couldn't have asked for anything better. She went above and beyond!
If you're looking for a wedding photographer who will really capture the joy of your day, who takes extraordinary high quality photos, who takes the time to learn about you to show what's important to you in the photos... or a photographer who is kind and sweet and will keep it light-hearted and low-key on your day, Jessica is the photographer you need.

I'm so grateful I found Jessica to take my wedding photographs! From the beginning, she asked questions and listened closely to what we envisioned for our day. We first met Jessica Yahn in 2016 for a family photo shoot. We loved her immediately! She was funny, full of ideas, and was willing to do what it took to create the most beautiful shots! We booked her for our engagement session in July 2017. Again, she was full of ideas, flexible and willing to work with us on time and location. That day my hair and make up had not turned out the way I wanted and I was insecure about the way I looked, but Jessica was willing to offer to shoot another day, free of charge, in order to make me feel more comfortable and satisfied with our photos! Jessica is just absolutely amazing to work with. Our entire process with her from our initial meeting to engagements to our wedding was one of the easiest and least stressful parts of our wedding. Her work is phenomenal and she truly takes her time getting to know you on a personal level in order to capture you at your best and truest form. I cannot wait to be able to watch our family grow through her photography lens because I know we will be using her again as we enter our next stages of life. Our wedding photos are just gorgeous. There is honestly not a bad one in the bunch. They were edited and delivered quickly and there are just tons of them to look through. On a side note: her assistant on wedding day is equally as great. Not only did she help keep everything on track and moving, she got myself and my bridal party some chicken nuggets before the ceremony began so we would not be hungry! You can't say that about many vendors! These photos will be cherished for years to come; they are as beautiful as the woman who took them!

Jessica is amazing! My husband and I were lucky enough to have her capture our wedding day, and she was phenomenal. We traveled from across the state and met her the day of the wedding, but she put us at ease quickly. She is so nice, and stuck out the heat with us (95 degrees!). We will definitely be using her again in the future!

Jessica is absoluetly amazing! I can't say enough good things about her. Neither my fiance or I are particularly photogenic but we ended up with many wonderful photos from our engagement session. She helped us feel comfortable and worked with our ideas but she had tons of her own. I can't wait for wedding photos! Highly, highly recommend.

As a same-sex couple we chose Jessica because we wanted someone who was LGBT friendly. The gallery of photos on her website show how she is able to capture the love of each couple in a unique way. Jessica is professional, super friendly, fun, and easy to work with. I felt comfortable with her the moment we met. She answered all our questions throughout the process. She replied quickly to all emails. She also listened to us and incorporated our ideas of what we wanted. We are excited and look forward to our wedding day photos! We will definitely use her again and also recommend her to any friends and family.

Jessica Yahn is the best photographer in this area. She is very professional. She is so good with my kids. She always gets the shots I want and does a great job at it. I am a person that doesn't really like pictures of myself but if she has done them I know they will be amazing. I actually hang them up and pass them out. I would and have recommended her to everyone I know. I will never go to any one else.

Jessica was so nice and welcoming when we arrived at our photo session. She spent over 2 hours walking around with us to find the perfect photo spots. She listened to the types of photos we wanted and we ended up with some awesome picture. Jessica was also very quick to get us our session digital images, we had them in less than a week fully enhanced. She also respected our privacy and didn't post any pictures on any social media at our request. We can't wait for our big day and to see all the moments she captures for us! Thank-you again Jessica!

Jessica Yahn Photography was a blessing for the short period I was granted to have. Jessica shows so much enthusiasm when shooting! She was the first one to see my husband when he was walking in formation back from Afghanistan July 2013, a 9 month deployment. She captured every moment I had expectations for and more that I was so grateful for! Since the Army life is prone to seperation, I miss having her around to capture my special moments with my family. Its been a little over a year since I last had the opportunity to have a session with Jessica Yahn Photography, and am still in search of someone with such talent and love for her career.

Jessica Yahn was a great choice for our wedding photographer. First and foremost, her photos were fantastic! This was why we hired a professional and she delivered. She was also very accommodating to our "fluid" schedule on the wedding day (a nice way of saying it was chaotic ;-) ). She was timely in all planning and correspondence before the wedding. Our group consisted of the birthday girl (turning 16) and some of her school friends as well as family members. Jessica did a fantastic job of getting all the posed shots we asked for and did it in such a relaxed way that she made it really fun for everyone. It added so much to the party. Jessica also got some wonderful candid shots. We used her beautiful photos as party favors and our daughters friends loved them. Jessica is very professional and has a great way of blending her photography seamlessly into the event. I won't use anyone else for my events.

We didn't have a big wedding the first time so our vow renewal was our "BIG day" and making sure we had good pictures was very important to me. When my wife and I were looking for potential wedding photographers, we wanted someone affordable, professional, and trustworthy.
