About this venue
Fields at Skycrest is a wedding venue located in Cleveland, North Carolina. This family’s 85-acre working farm just outside of the city limits gives you a sense of peace and solitude as soon as you arrive. Cows, alpacas, and miniature donkeys are grazing, the sight of a tractor in the distance is common, and the sounds and smells of nature abound. The beautiful tree-lined drive is just a teaser for something much bigger ahead. As you crest the hill, the sky and green fields open up before you. With over 10,000 square feet of event space and wide open fields as far as you can see, it is casual elegance at its best.
Facilities and Capacity
The new event space is climate controlled and can comfortably host over 400 guests. The indoor reception space is a dream with white exposed ceiling trusses, gorgeous French-inspired chandeliers, a massive white herringbone brick fireplace, and large clear doors that open onto a large outdoor patio. The outdoor, covered Pavilion called the Gathering Place is perfect for an outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour, or dancing. However, if you prefer something more rustic and natural, you may find the picturesque 50-acre field the perfect spot for your ceremony. The private dressing suites for both wedding parties create a relaxing place for the bridal party to get ready on site.

When it comes to planning your big day at Fields at Skycrest, their events team will work closely with you. They can provide both setup and breakdown of all decorations and rental items, leaving you to relax and simply enjoy the celebrations. What's more, tables and chairs are included when renting this venue. To ensure that your wedding looks and runs how you envisioned, you can work with outside vendors should you wish.
Location
This venue is placed in the Piedmont of North Carolina between Statesville and Charlotte. It is conveniently located just minutes from I-77 and accommodations. Charlotte Douglas International is the largest and closest airport to the property just 45 minutes away. However, Greensboro has Tri-Cities Regional Airport and Asheville Regional Airport is a consideration for those wanting to make a vacation out of it. Local general aviation airports are also close by.
