Hey there! If you’re planning a wedding and want good vibes, fun music, and some unforgettable moments - Fes Hat Entertainment has you covered. I’m DJ Jaafar, and I’ve been DJing weddings for over 8 years all around DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
I do more than just show up and play a playlist—I work with each couple to really understand their style and what kind of music they want on their big day. Everyone’s different, and that’s what makes it fun! I usually ask couples to make a Spotify playlist with their favorite songs, and then I mix that in with songs I know will fit their vibe and keep the party going.
And yes, I’m totally open to taking requests during the wedding (as long as the couple is cool with it!). I want you and your guests to have the best time, so I do everything I can to make sure the music feels personal and just right.

We danced all night long the DJ was so good!
Prior to the wedding we talked about what the vision was for the event and he was helpful in suggesting options. We provided the timeline of events, a song list and a list of introductions and Jaafar took it from there and ensured our wedding reception was rocking!
He arrived and set up on time and was ready to go. He did not require a lot of space and was easy to work with. He kept us on our timeline and made announcements and played the music right on cue. The dancing was continuous and high energy everybody had an awesome time and complimented us on how grear the DJ was! I even stole a dace with Jaafar because we were all having so much fun! I would totally recommend Fes Hat Entertainment for your event!

Jaafar was very professional during the corporate holiday party we worked at together. He was prompt, had professional equipement and played great music. Jaafar made sure that when I took the photos of the toasts that he moved out of the way so that I could get good shots of the person doing the toast. He listened to what the guests requested and made sure that the music he played went with the flow of the evening. I highly recommend Jaafar as a DJ for any events/weddings! You will not be disappointed!
