Anne was AMAZING! She got me in for my fitting right in the morning and was quick. She got everything that I wanted and made sure I was happy with what was going to be done before i left the shop. She has Saturday hours which really make it SUPER CONVIENT. She requires a $10-$20 deposit on wedding gown alteration and then you pay the rest when you pick up your dress. She let me choose when I wanted her to have the dress done with was great because she worked around my schedule! Love this place!

Very small family owned business, Anne is very good at what she does. She was very flexible with the amount of time needed to alter my wedding dress, and it fits perfectly now. She will keep making adjustments until it fits just right. She added bustles in the back to hang up the train for the reception, she shortened it and kept the scraps for me, and she adjusted the staps. She did a great job and the price was about average for wedding gown alterations.

I brought my wedding dress here for a simple hem and strap adjustment. When I returned to try on the dress, I discovered four visible holes torn in the fabric of the skirt and train, damage that was highly visible and was not there when I dropped it off. When I brought this to Anne's attention, she became immediately defensive and dismissive. Rather than showing concern or taking responsibility, she responded with hostility and made it very uncomfortable to even discuss the issue.
Due to her reaction and the lack of accountability, I no longer felt comfortable leaving my dress with her. I was entrusting and paying a professional to handle my property with care and now, due to the damage that said professional caused, I have to find another seamstress to do repairs, with only a month left until my wedding, and at additional cost.
Additionally, I was never informed that someone else, not Anne, would be taking the dress off-site to perform the alterations. I was led to believe that she would be handling everything personally, based on her repeated references to her years of experience. This lack of transparency was extremely troubling, especially considering the damage that occurred.
What should have been a joyful step in my wedding planning turned into an upsetting and stressful ordeal. I would strongly caution anyone against bringing a valuable or sentimental item here, especially for something as meaningful and time sensitive as a wedding. I wish I had looked closer at the reviews on here because many of the reviews here echo my experience and I would implore you to consider them carefully before calling.

Do not take your wedding dress here.

It's an absurdly long story, but to make a long story short, she had my dress for 9 weeks (up until 3 days before my wedding!!!), ruined the waist of the dress, it was still ill-fitting, and she forgot a bunch of things she was supposed to do (cups, a belt, she put the bustle in the wrong place, she forgot to trim the tulle). When I told her I was unhappy with it (very kindly, mind you. I could have bridezilla'd her about a thousand times, and didn't), she immediately started SCREAMING at me on the phone. She made me cry, 3 days before my wedding. I ended up leaving the dress with her and wearing a different dress last minute. You can see the ill-fit in the photo, as well as her messy dressing room. It's also really hot in there.
Go to Valet Custom Tailors in Bethlehem, they took care of me in a day and were very affordable.

Do not take your wedding dress here! I went to 3 fittings. All of which she didn’t want to take in the big parts of my dress (it was huge). However when she did take it in, she didn’t remove the decals and just tucked them into the side of the dress! My dress was then lumpy and unflattering. When I confronted her, she told me that’s how dresses look. The top of my dress was also big and needed to be altered. She tucked it in under my armpits... where the illusion part of my dress was! You could see the alterations. It looked awful. I had to take it else where to undo all of the “alterations” and redo it properly to fit me (with less then a month to my wedding). My sister also got her bridesmaid dress done at the same time. She returned the dress to my sister uneven and holes all over it! This place was the definition of a wedding dress nightmare. Do not go here!
