At first I wasn’t sure how much I wanted to spend on wedding photography but it is important to my bride so I went with it. Fariha not only takes beautiful photos (see her insta farihawajidphotography) but helps make even more amazing memories! She was so easy to work with, positive, and very professional. I really appreciated how much time and effort she puts into curating to our needs, scouting locations, and getting us to be comfortable in the poses. Needless to say the photos came out stunning! Fariha not only captured beautiful moments of us but also of our guests having a blast!

I wish there were more stars to give!!! Fariha was our photographer for both our Chicago wedding events (nikkah in January, valima in July) - everything about working with her was AMAZING. She was super professional and excellent at responding/communicating (or letting us know if it was a busy time, and when we could expect a response). She scheduled a Zoom meeting to get to know us and our story and what mattered to us in our wedding photography (and had us fill out a survey, including specific details or types of shots we wanted). I LOOOOOVED how on TOP of everything and professional she was. She scouted both locations beforehand to make sure she felt confident about where to do all the shoots, and our pictures turned out AMAZING - no matter the weather or the type of background (we had people ask us if we went away to do shoots and they couldn't believe that she made the venue/outdoors look so good). She captured posed and candid moments, and honestly the events will go by so fast, and it's so lovely to re-live the events when we look at the photography, and it brings us (and our family & friends) a tremendous amount of joy. She is great at capturing the essence of the events - smiles, hugs, funny moments you don't even know are happening - in addition to all the "mainstage" events. She also was super responsive & private (both my husband and I had sneaky presents for each other that we wanted her to capture - and she did a GREAT job at keeping our secrets).

Honestly - there's SO MUCH stress with wedding planning, but we had NO stress at all once we chose Fariha - Alhumdulillah, she is PHENOMENAL.

Fariha was amazing, she did an amazing job and captured moments from are wedding that I could only hope for! Not only did she capture candid shots she captured the reactions and emotions during our couple photoshoot. During the wedding everything you planned becomes a blur and there's only so much you can remember in the moment. I remember after our cake cutting we were about to head over to get our couple photoshoot but Fariha had thankfully reminded me that I had gotten an anniversary cake for my sister to cut because I happened to have my wedding day the same as her anniversary. Had she not reminded me I would have totally forgotten about it. I'm so thankful to Fariha for all her amazing work and could not be happier that I chose her to capture my wedding moments! We were so happy with the photos!:)

Fariha was an absolute pleasure to work with! We loved the end products and would definitely recommend her to others looking for a photographer to capture their special day! She was very organized and communicative leading up to the event. She asked about our preferences beforehand and definitely incorporated them in the pictures. We had a large event with over 500 people and she still managed to capture everything including portraits and family pics, candid photos of the guests, and pictures of the food and decor.

I cannot rave enough about FWP. Fariha is such a detail-oriented individual who went above and beyond in capturing our wedding memories. Prior to the event, she was very clear and prompt in her communications. She was very interested in getting to know the style of photos we wanted for our wedding, and was extremely accommodating. On the day of the wedding, she went out of her way to make sure every detail of the wedding was documented. She knew exactly what to capture before the event and paid particular attention to capturing our closest family and friends. If you're thinking about a wedding photographer, I would not even think twice before booking Fariha again and recommending her to all my family and friends.
