With some motivation and a heart full of passion, Afrin graduated from the Illinois Institute of Art- Chicago. For many years, she was a lead designer for Walter E. Smithe Furniture & Design, and her work has been featured in several publications. Since 2013 after helping her close friend create her wedding, Afrin started using her skills and knowledge in the world of event design and has never looked back.

When working with Afrin Designs, she gets to know each of her clients personally and understands their unique style and vision. Whether it's for your romantic ceremony, rehearsal dinner, or evening reception, this business has items to accompany every occasion. Best Decorator In Chicago!

Working with Afrin for my wedding events was an absolute pleasure! She was extremely helpful, thoughtful, and reliable. Afrin and her team were professional and very easy to work with, adjusting to any changes I needed without hassle. She worked great with me and my family on anything we requested. It was her hard work and attention to detail that allowed me to have the wedding of my dreams! She listened carefully to my vision and executed it perfectly! She also had wonderful suggestions and ideas which made the process much easier for me. Afrin responded quickly, was always available to discuss details and assist me with whatever I needed. She truly is a huge reason why my wedding events went flawlessly and my friends and family had a wonderful time. I am very grateful for her and her time to make my dream wedding a reality!

Great Experience

Afrin was so easy to work with. She was very responsive and understanding of my budget. I fully trusted her to execute and she helped me figure out my vision when I wasn't really sure. My venue was not one I was super enthusiastic about and she completely transformed it. All of my guests commented on how beautiful everything looked. It was honestly more than I could have imagined. The day off I did not have to worry about a thing. Highly recommend using her.

Literally stunning

Afrin absolutely NAILED our wedding design and we couldn't be happier. I gave her a few examples of what I liked but was otherwise super vague in what I was looking for - but she somehow took the exact vision I had in my brain and executed it perfectly. Our guests were stunned by how beautiful everything was! She also thought about things I didn't -- seating on the mandap, type of lighting to get the mood that I wanted, etc. Afrin was also SUPER responsive - I could always expect a response within a day or two, and she was always transparent with costs. If you are thinking of hiring her team -- DO IT!

Royal dreamy wedding

Afrin was amazing to work with. She gave plenty of options keeping our budget in mind. She did a phenomenal job of bringing our vision to life. It was not a typical decor. Everyone loved it. And thought it was unique.

Bridgerton theme wedding indoor outdoor

The couple wanted a Bridgerton theme and that was so beautifully done. There were multiple areas that needed to be elevated decorated and she delivered just that and more.

Stunning Engagement Flowers

Afrin helped us with gorgeous flower backdrop for our sofa seating and bouquets for each table. The color selection was exquisite and made the venue spring to life. Being a day time engagement event we wanted a bright yet elegant decor and AFRIN knew how to pull this together for us. We were completely satisfied and thrilled by her design. Thank you AFRIN!

Working with afrin was an amazing experience!

I cannot recommend Afrin enough! From the very beginning, she and her team were attentive, professional, and truly passionate about bringing our vision to life. We have worked with Afrin for not one but two events year apart and in both times she has done spectacular work! Every detail, from the floral arrangements to the table settings and lighting, was absolutely stunning and beyond what we had imagined. Amazing experience!!

Afrin is so attentive and actually gave us so much time and reassurance. She’s so happy and hard working and made our dream wedding reception.
