Great Experience
Afrin was so easy to work with. She was very responsive and understanding of my budget. I fully trusted her to execute and she helped me figure out my vision when I wasn't really sure. My venue was not one I was super enthusiastic about and she completely transformed it. All of my guests commented on how beautiful everything looked. It was honestly more than I could have imagined. The day off I did not have to worry about a thing. Highly recommend using her. -

Afrin absolutely NAILED our wedding design and we couldn't be happier. I gave her a few examples of what I liked but was otherwise super vague in what I was looking for - but she somehow took the exact vision I had in my brain and executed it perfectly. Our guests were stunned by how beautiful everything was! She also thought about things I didn't -- seating on the mandap, type of lighting to get the mood that I wanted, etc. Afrin was also SUPER responsive - I could always expect a response within a day or two, and she was always transparent with costs. If you are thinking of hiring her team -- DO IT! -

Royal dreamy wedding

Stunning Engagement Flowers
Afrin helped us with gorgeous flower backdrop for our sofa seating and bouquets for each table. The color selection was exquisite and made the venue spring to life. Being a day time engagement event we wanted a bright yet elegant decor and AFRIN knew how to pull this together for us. We were completely satisfied and thrilled by her design. Thank you AFRIN! -

Amazing and professional
We are so happy we chose Afrin to be our decorator for our wedding! She exceeded our expectations. We were blown away when we saw the decor on our wedding day! So many of our wedding guests were talking about how much they loved it as well! Afrin is so nice and very easy to work with. Afrin Designs was a godsend for our wedding. The wedding décor specialist not only brought our (admittedly demanding) vision to life in a way that exceeded our highest expectations, but Afrin personally worked extremely hard to keep us within our budget while treating my now-wife and I with uncommon kindness and respect—all with only two-months’ notice. It’s hard to beat high-quality work, flexible pricing, and great, personalized service. Working with Afrin Designs was just an overall positive and rewarding experience.
THE WEDDING DECOR
Our wedding was stunning. My wife is “absolutely in love” with Afrin’s work and we received countless compliments from our guests about our “breathtaking” and “gorgeous” ceremony design, our “extraordinary” and “elegant” dinner décor, and our “chic” and “lively” reception area. Afrin was able to capture the essence of our elegant, Ancient Roman style ceremony vision, our high-class, black-tie style dinner décor, and our green, indoor garden-party-like reception design. The décor both complimented and elevated our venue’s aesthetic. As a creative person and perfectionist, I am almost always disappointed when others try to turn my vision into reality. Not so with Afrin. Everything was perfect.

THE SERVICE
We hired Afrin Designs with pretty short notice: Only two months away from our wedding. We also had an extremely tight budget (which was very close to Afrin Design’s already comparatively low minimum). Nonetheless, Afrin immediately jumped right in. Right away, she got and cared about our vision and always provided multiple options for each design aspect to allow us to work within our budget. With numerous emails, texts, two long phone calls, and an in-person walk-through, Afrin and her team were extremely responsive in the two-month period we worked with them. Perhaps most helpful to my wife and I, who compromised on mostly everything, Afrin had a soft touch in how she suggested what ideas make most sense and what ideas may not work as well. Moreover, whatever you ended up choosing, she always respected your ultimate creative decisions. On our wedding day, she arrived at the venue as early as our venue allowed her and was back to break everything down, making it a worry-free process for us.
For anyone looking for a wedding design/décor company, my wife and I highly recommend Afrin Designs: They will bring the best version of your vision to life with elegance and grace. -

As many brides can relate, wedding planning is extremely stressful. It's why it's so important to choose vendors you can trust. Me and my husband had events in two separate states and as a result had many vendors we were working with. Afrin was hands down the best and easiest one! I was undecisive on the theme. Not once did she make me feel like I was inconveniencing her. She went above and beyond to make me comfortable with the decor concept. From the beginning, she was super attentive and I knew I could trust her to execute. She surpassed all expectations for our reception. We already knew it was going to be beautiful, but the moment we walked into the room, we were speechless in the best way possible. She took our vision and amplified it tenfold! We received so many compliments as to how gorgeous the decor and atmosphere was. Afrin is a true professional. She knows exactly what she's doing and made our day everything we could have asked for and more! I highly recommend Afrin for all your event needs. I know NOTHING about weddings…. But I had this idea for a romantic classy white wedding but really didn’t know what or how that would work. I literally happens to stumble on to a gorgeous backdrop on IG that Afrin did for another wedding so went with Afrin. And she lit picked me up like a month before the wedding. You can tell this isn’t just a job she genuinely wants to make your dream wedding come alive w her decor and loves seeing her brides (and grooms) happy!
She asked me what theme and I said garden in heaven and she delivered! Hope all the brides here have as beautiful as a wedding as I did iA! Wouldn’t be leaving this review if I didn’t trust her to make every bride out there happy! ;) -

Afrin designed my wedding in Dec 2019. I still remember meeting with her and being impressed at how detailed she was in her planning. She made sure she took into consideration everything my husband and I envisioned but also provided a balanced amount of expertise from her own self. Working with her was extremely smooth from start to finish. She was able to work within our budget as well while maintaining professionalism and high quality work which alleviated a lot of anxiety when it came to wedding planning. The decor was beyond beautiful in a subtle yet powerful way that calmed the eyes. It was classy and not too over the top - exactly how we envisioned our night to go! Thank you Afrin! Beautiful Mendhi Decor
We were blown away by our decor! It was stunning, perfect and colorful! Our of guests loved it as well. We had actually changed our stage design close to the event date as we were trying to figure out linens with the venue. Afrin was quick to schedule a meeting and update all the information. Turned out even better than we imagined. Value/Pricing was very reasonable. -

Highly recommend
Afrin was so great to work with, I would highly recommend her to anyone! I told her my budget, and she was very receptive to working around that while still making my vision become a reality. I told her my ideas, and she offered her expert input so that the end result was even better than I could have imagined! Any time I had any questions or concerns, she was open to discussing it and make adjustments as needed. I knew my reception decor was in good hands, so it was one less thing for me to worry about!!
Afrin went above and beyond the day of to make sure the big day went smoothly by helping my friends decorate my head table even though I hadn't even mentioned that to her. She checked in the day after to personally wish me congrats and make sure that everything went well. It's the little things like that, that make a big difference. -

Relatable vendor and excellent service!
When it came to choosing my wedding decor vendor I already knew who to go to. Afrin did many of my close friends weddings. She did a great job at all of them. I fell in love with her work instantly. It was a great pleasure to work with her during my sisters wedding in November of 2018 and then soon after for mine in August of 2019. Afrin is very relatable, approachable, and friendly. When I first met her I didn't feel intimidated like I did when I approached other vendors for my wedding events. I guess Afrin just makes you feel 'welcome'. She is very sweet and down to earth. She can relate to her client in ways many vendors can't. She knows the desi tradition and culture. She knows what a girl wants for her big day! From start to finish Afrin is very thorough and detail oriented. She values time, money and effort. I had a vision, we drew it out and she made it come to life! Everyone loved the wedding stage, the centerpieces, and the GOBO. The GOBO gave a whole new look to the place and made the event more personal. Her work is so clean. I love how she is so involved in the whole process from set up to clean up. I would definitely work with her again! Thanks. -

What can I say Afrin and her team are just absolutely amazing!!! From start to finish afrin made things so seamless, from our first meeting to discuss my vision she knew what I wanted and even helped me add things that were cutting edge and sleek.Afrins work ethics she was just a phone call away!!!Not only is she an amazing designer but she was a therapist,a friend when I needed a florist an extra wedding planner etc..
On our wedding let me tell you afrin came to slay she literally blew our minds away,it was like she had recreated a dream of what heaven would look like,it was so magical the way she took that bland space and made it my little wedding oasis with a splash of elegance and class.Wgen it came to cleanup her n her team came in and did what they had to do with ease.and did I say that she works with all budgets she is very reasonable,she makes it work for you no matter what,I would most definitely recommend afrin design's to everyone and will even use her in the future for our special events!!!! -

When it comes to working with a designer for your wedding, you want someone who can bring your ideas to life. That is the best thing we enjoyed about working with Afrin. She always wanted to make sure our ideas were expressed during our wedding then from there she would make it even more grand and creative than we could ever imagine. Just have one phone call with her and you can see first hand what I am talking about.
On our wedding day, the second we saw everything, we were just shocked. Yes, we knew what it would look like on paper. Seeing it in person though. It was truly amazing. You need to see first hand the designs she comes up with and you can then see why it is important to have her on your wedding day. -

I booked Afrin to do the decor for my Nikah ceremony in December 2018. The whole process of booking, to planning, to the actual day of went as smoothly as possible! Afrin was so incredibly kind and helpful every step of the way.
During our initial meeting, we discussed what I was looking for in terms of decor. I only really needed some sort of seating and backdrop. Throughout the discussion, Afrin provided her input and feedback without being overly pushy. We ended up deciding on all of the decor needs during that initial meeting.
The booking process was fairly straightforward. She sent over a copy of her contract and I sent it back signed with her deposit.
The day of the event Afrin and her partner went totally above and beyond! The backdrop was stunning and she even helped me out with my centerpieces that I provided. She totally has an eye for how to make the most of a space. The day of we decided to change up our original layout plan and it turned out even better than we could have imagined!
Anyone thinking of booking Afrin for their upcoming event, please do not even hesitate! Her work speaks for itself.

Additionally, Afrin gave a lot of feedback before our event as well, and helped throughout the process—how we should do our cake to how our arrangements should be.
