Maha Studios is a Chicago based wedding photography studio that specializes in creatively capturing our wedding clients stories. When we work with a client, we invest 100% of our time and effort into photographing their wedding with an artistic and emotional perspective.


Maha Studios offers luxury wedding photography in the Chicagoland area and abroad. Our photography portfolio has been showcased on wedding blogs and magazines such as Maharani Weddings, South Asian Bride Magazine, Chicago Style Weddings Magazine. We have an in depth knowledge of how to capture Muslim weddings, Hindu weddings, Christian weddings, Jewish weddings and Sikh weddings (to name a few!!). We are a boutique wedding photography studio in Chicago which means that all of our projects are hand crafted with passion. Maha studios is the best Chicago wedding photographer! The entire team is so professional and listen to every single wish that you have for your wedding! When I was looking for a Chicago wedding photographer I knew Maha studios was the best when I was looking at her work! Maha studios captured the most amazing moments for my nikkah, mendhi and reception, they truly are the best Chicago wedding photographers! Maha studios made all my wedding dreams come true by capturing every single special moment as well as every detail from start to finish! They were so amazing to work with and delivered such amazing results so quickly! I would highly recommend Maha Studios for any wedding or any event because they are the best Chicago wedding photographers out there! Everyone at Maha Studios has so much knowledge about their craft and when you see the pictures it feels like a fairytale! I am forever grateful to Maha Studios and their team for making my wedding events so special and being so amazing to work with! I can go on and on about how amazing they are but I think you get the point!

Amazing photographer!

We chose Maha studios to take our wedding day and mehendi ceremony photos and have no regrets! Sylvia was awesome to work with and did an amazing job capturing all of the details of both days. The pictures came out so beautifully, and we are so happy with the results!

The best wedding photographer!

I cannot say enough about Maha studios. We are so grateful for Zainab and her team! From day one, Zainab made us feel so comfortable and not stressed about this process. Her and her team reached out to us several times leading up to our wedding date to check on us, give us tips, and ask if we need anything. On the day of our wedding, Zainab and her team were timely, excited, and motivating. On such a stressful day, it was so nice to have positive energy around! Zainab knew exactly what she was doing and found us the best spot for our portraits and the best poses for our pictures. We felt so natural in our pictures!

Zainab's turnaround time for getting us our wedding gallery was about 3.5 weeks which is amazing. Most other photography services quoted us 6+ weeks. Even with this quick turnaround time, Zainab's photography and editing is unmatched. We are SO happy with our wedding gallery, and we just wish we could do our day all over again to get to work with Maha studios one more time!

THE Chicago wedding photographer

Maha Studios’ Zainab is a household name when it comes to Chicago wedding photography. She has photographed two weddings in my family, one of which was mine. Working with her is nothing short of incredible. She is warm, kind, patient and reliable. She navigates the chaos of the quintessential desi Muslim wedding with absolute confidence and grace; a certain kind you only see in photographers like her who have been perfecting their craft for over a decade. I always encourage friends and acquaintances who are planning their weddings to not skimp out on photography; we are prone to forgetting that photos quite literally preserve our fondest memories. Zainab is easily the first and sometimes the only person I recommend to people looking for the highest quality experience. When you choose to partner with her, you can do it with the peace of mind that she and her hand-picked associates are going to give you something worth more than what you paid for. Excellent photography skills

We had an excellent experience working with Maha Studios! We hired her both for our engagement photo shoot, sangeet, wedding ceremony, and reception! We have enlarged several of her photos and are truly pleased with the moments she captured, not to mention the bright, vivid colors!!!

Amazing experience

Zainab did an amazing job from start to finish. She is super sweet and easy to get along with and makes you feel really comfortable. She was always attentive to detail, on time and super professional. We had an amazing experience with her and her team. The photos turned out amazing and the albums were gorgeous!! Would def recommend Maha studios!
