A Magical Night at the Fairlie
Alison was exceptional in her role as both wedding planner and Event Manager at The Fairlie. With a large wedding of 270 guests and an equally large bridal party, her organization, patience, and calm presence were invaluable from start to finish. She handled countless details, timelines, emails, questions, and last-minute changes with professionalism and grace, always making us feel supported and confident. Her deep knowledge of The Fairlie allowed her to offer smart guidance, creative problem-solving, and thoughtful suggestions that truly enhanced the planning process.
The Fairlie itself was a stunning venue and accommodated our large guest count beautifully, including a spacious dance floor that stayed packed all night. The venue team was also incredibly accommodating in allowing us to deliver décor and supplies well in advance of the wedding—especially helpful given the holiday timing—which lifted a significant burden and helped the entire weekend run more smoothly. As an evening wedding in January, the atmosphere was especially magical—the entire space glowed with candlelight and felt warm, romantic, and elegant despite the winter cold outside. Alison and her team executed every detail seamlessly, ensuring the ceremony and reception flowed. We could not have asked for a better venue or a more capable, caring professional to guide us through such an important day.

The Bullock Wedding
When you think of stunning, elegant, calm, and beautiful - you can think of the Fairlie. We had our wedding here in mid-October of 2025 and it was nothing but spectacular. Both the bridal and groom suite were spacious and held more than enough room for everyone. The bridal sweet has excellent vanity stations and lighting, so hair and makeup can definitely be done here if preferred. We loved how much exposed brink was in the building, with very large windows which made the room seem intimate and elegant. The venue is gorgeous on it's own, so it doesn't need a ton of decorations if that is your preference. The stair case adds a special touch to any of the entrances throughout the day/night. There is a tuktuk you can utilize for your reception entrance or be used as a decorative piece - we rode into our reception this way and our guests called it "iconic." Also, the main entrance can open big enough so a food truck can drive into the venue - we did this and it was a huge hit with our guests. The staff were very responsive and accommodating - they helped personalize the venue and fulfilled our requests. There is a BYOB option, which is a huge plus in our opinion. My wife and I will always tell this story, but we knew right away that this would be the place we would get married. The Fairlie was the first venue that we saw, and as we were getting our tour, the tour guide walked right into the open space and said "and this is where you will be getting married". We both got chills, looked at each other, and thought, this is it. So, needless to say, thank you Fairlie for being such gracious hosts. We would recommend the Fairlie 100% to anyone who are looking for a venue for a wedding or event. - Kyle and Rachelle

The perfect setting for our perfect day
From the first moment we walked into the Fairlie, we fell in love with it. It was exactly the vibe we were looking for. Alexis, Alison, and everyone else we met throughout the process were so easy to work with. They let us drop off our DIY decor a few days early, which was one of the things we were stressing out about the most. The added personalized details of the welcome sign and custom vinyl sticker for the tuk tuk- as well as our grand tuk tuk entrance helped add special touches to our day.

The venue you've been looking for
We got married at Fairlie in November and it was everything we were looking for in a venue! The vibe was everything and made it easy to keep the aesthetic with minimal additional decor. The team was very responsive to our many questions and made suggestions to make sure everything we envisioned was executed perfectly. We also received lots of feedback from our guests on how much they loved the venue and the food (we hired Lula Cafe, one of Fairlie’s pre-approved caterers). Fairlie checked all our boxes, especially that they are BYOB and dog-friendly.

Fall Wedding at Fairlie
In our search for wedding ceremony/reception venues in Chicagoland, it was hard to compete with Fairlie - we know we made the right choice! There’s not much you have to add to the space to have it picturesque and wedding-ready; but the Fairlie team is very accommodating in allowing you to bring various decor and games. Similarly, not much has to be done at night to create a gorgeous ambience with Fairlie’s candles and orange lighting. We had more than enough space for the bride, groom, family, and bridal party to get ready. A few months ahead of our wedding, we paid for early entrance to allow for hair and makeup, photography, and ceremony set-up; potential clients should consider booking additional hours for their wedding day. We also appreciate the attentiveness of the team to allow us to change the temperature throughout the day (a member of our party with Multiple Sclerosis has symptoms flare-up when they are too cold). The pictures speak for themselves, there’s plenty of parking available for guests, and the team is great!

Amazing Venue!!!
Where to even begin, the venue is stunning and Andria was just amazing to work with! We are so happy with our choice to get married at Fairlie. The space, staff, and vibe are all incredible, and our guests are still talking about it. We cannot recommend this space more!!

Exquisite wedding venue with top notch customer service!
My husband and I got married on June 9th, 2023 at Fairlie. We can say with the utmost confidence that Fairlie is bar none when it comes to wedding venues in the city of Chicago. Our guests are still talking about the beauty of the venue, as well as the logistical perks such as the parking lot and access to free street parking. We thoroughly enjoyed working directly with Alexis to plan logistics, as well as with Andrea and the security team the day of. The entire team was accommodating, flexible & willing to make suggestions when needed! We were incredibly impressed with this venue & their team. Also...the tuk-tuk is an amazing touch!!! Entering the reception on the tuk-tuk is one of our favorite wedding day memories!!
Another special touch...Fairlie gifted us a personalized Fairlie decanter with our name and wedding date on it the evening of our rehearsal - we were so touched! This venue goes above & beyond for their clients. We would get married here all over again!!!
