Extraordinary Cupcakes was wonderful to work with! We ended up switching vendors to Extraordinary two months out from the wedding, and they were more than happy to accommodate with ease! They confirmed our date right away, and we were able to set up a tasting the next week. The tasting was extremely generous, and they were very helpful in guiding us with decisions about the number and size of cupcakes based on our estimated guest count. They were also flexible with flavors. We loved getting to have 5 different amazing flavors for our guests to choose from! They also made us a small cake for cutting in whatever flavor we wanted, which was a perfect size and ridiculously delicious! We were able to rent stands for the cupcakes and they provided signs for each of the different flavors. They also allowed us to make changes until the last minute without issue. Overall, we were so happy with how accommodating and helpful Extraordinary Cupcakes was. They took care of everything so we didn't have to worry about anything but enjoying the most delicious cupcakes! And they were SO delicious! We just love the flavors they have to offer, like their peanut butter and coffee cupcakes, and getting to have our cutting cake with the coffee flavor and frosting was...the icing on the cake!

We met with Extraordinary Cupcakes during covid and did our tasting, so yummy! There were so many options. I spoke with Peggy through email for a couple of months prior to the event. I paid through the mail and was notified when needed to make sure I had everything. A friend picked up all of our cupcakes and cake!

Why have a wedding cake when you can have a wedding (cup)cake!?
I placed a special order for a small wedding ceremony with requests to label the cupcakes and add a little bit of bling to our wedding (cup)cake. Everything was perfect. The guests loved the cupcakes and so did we!

Be sure you eat them the day you buy them, fresh is best :)

The cupcakes were so cute and, oh man oh so good! They even customized some of the sugar to match with my wedding colors! They let us choose some flavors and they delivered on time. For a small deposit, you can also rent their REALLY LARGE AND SURPRISINGLY HEAVILY/STABLE cupcake tier. It went perfectly with my wedding colors! There were extra cupcakes and we got to take some home. :) It was delicious and we ate them for days afterward (brought a few on the honeymoon, too, lol)! I loved the flavors and the quantity is definitely large and that's their small size!! There are not some grocery-store run-of-the-mill cupcakes. These are EXTRAORDINARY!

You will not be disappointed. We had cupcakes at our wedding and our guests STILL rave about how amazing they were. I had a specific type of set up that I envisioned for the cupcake display and when I finally got to see the finished product I was BLOWN away. They did a fantastic job and were amazing to work with.

We opted for cupcakes instead of cake at our reception because we love Extraordinary Cupcakes so much, and they did not disappoint! Our guests loved their cupcakes - they were an especially huge hit with the kids. In addition to tasting amazing, they also looked beautiful displayed on the dessert table. Extraordinary cupcakes provided wedding cupcakes, anniversary cake, and a cake topper for my August wedding at the Williamsburg Winery. They were professional, flexible, and friendly from start to finish! And their prices were straightforward and very competitive when compared to local alternatives. We went in for a special cupcake testing and had a chance to customize the exact flavors that would match our theme and other elements of our wedding. I highly recommend!

I am a wedding planner in the area and I knew of many vendors we could use. Ultimately, we picked Extraordinary because we wanted cupcakes and a small cake to cut and it was our tradition as couple to go weekly to the shop! In working with Kara and the other fabulous staff at Extraordinary, I knew it would be wonderful, but they blew this one out of the water! We had guests who literally took 4-5 cupcakes a piece. They loved them and ate them up (literally)!!! We really couldn't beat the price either. We chose the smaller cupcakes but that was perfectly substantial! I was so impressed with the beautiful cupcake theme sign they came up with and how well they put my vision together. Kara and their staff are the best and I highly recommend them for weddings, events or any other occasion!

P.S. We are still addicted and get cupcakes there about once a week!
