As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the chance to work with so many planners over the years—but Sunshine Events truly stands in a league of their own. After experiencing firsthand how incredible they are on wedding days from a vendor perspective, I knew without hesitation that I had to have them plan my own wedding.
Christina and Sarah went above and beyond in every way imaginable. From the very beginning, they kept me organized and on track with every to-do, handled communication seamlessly, and helped me find the most amazing vendors. They were by our side for every venue visit, rental meeting, and everything in between—it felt like having the most supportive, detail-oriented team guiding us through the entire process.
On the wedding day itself, they were nothing short of extraordinary. As someone who is very type A and works in the industry, I fully understand how stressful weddings can be—but I felt zero stress. That alone says everything. They created such a calm, supportive environment where I could truly be present and soak in every moment, knowing everything was being handled flawlessly.
Not only did they take incredible care of us, but they also made the entire experience so easy and enjoyable for my family—especially my mom, who was able to be fully present and actually enjoy the day without worrying about a single detail. Our entire family absolutely adored the Sunshine team.
They also planned our night-before celebration at my family home, and it was just as seamless and beautiful. Every detail was thoughtfully handled, and again, my family got to simply enjoy the moment—which is such a gift.
Sarah was especially amazing, and truly made such an impact throughout the entire experience.

Christina and her team are amazing! My husband and I hired Christina about a year before our wedding, and she kept me sane throughout the entire planning process. We checked in monthly to make sure everything stayed on track, and she even helped us navigate the possibility of switching venues when wildfires affected the area (thankfully, we didn't end up needing to!)

On our wedding day, Christina and her team were incredibly attentive- making sure we were taken care of, staying on schedule, and handling every detail seamlessly. I truly can't thank them enough for everything they did.

Tanya and I feel incredibly lucky to have worked with Aly and her team in preparation for our special day. We encountered numerous hurdles, namely a venue change after being displaced by the Pacific Palisades fire.

Despite these hurdles, Aly was always at least 3 steps ahead, anticipating our needs proactively and ensuring Tanya and I felt calm and collected. This is a testament to the level of care Aly puts into her craft.

Aly and her team were nothing short but amazing! When I was looking for a wedding planner sunshine events stood out to me for their detail to design and their fast response! When I spoke to Aly for the first time on the phone it just clicked! She was so warm and answered all my questions with confidence! Throughout the planning process she was my rock!!!! When I needed her the most - after we found out that we had to relocate our wedding due to the palisades fires - she immediately searched for new venues and inquired with them and insured me that it will be beautiful and special no matter what! Which it was… mainly because of her and the sunshine events team! They made sure our day was worry free and everything was smooth! It was the best day of our lives and we thank their team for making it a possibility! I could not recommend Aly and her team more! I wish we could do it all over again!! They are truly the best! We are so beyond thrilled and feel so lucky to have had the Sunshine Events team plan and coordinate our wedding day. Every part of the process was so seamless and helpful and every person on their team is incredible vibes and so sweet. All of the preparation made us feel so confident and like we did not have to worry about a single thing all day long, which is priceless and exactly what we were looking for. Special shoutout to Sarah who was with me all day and truly made the day flow immaculately!!!! Our day was especially complicated with multiple locations, transportation schedules, etc and Sarah is just so good at her job, we got to focus on getting married and being in the moment and not all of those tiny details. This team far exceeded my expectations for a wedding planner, and made the entire planning process so enjoyable!! Which as a result, made our wedding weekend that much more fun & we were able to be so present. Working with Christina and having her by our side through it all made the process seamless and reduced our stress so much.

We had a unique situation, with the Palisades fires impacting our original venue, which resulted in us needing to get a new wedding venue 4 weeks before our wedding day. Christina was so patient and reassured us that our wedding would happen no matter what. she helped us get a new venue, rehearsal dinner, and sorted out all the details with us with so much patience and empathy. She truly is the reason we were able to pull it off, and have such an amazing weekend regardless of all of the changes. So so thankful for Christina and this entire team!!! I wish I was getting married again so I could work with them again lol

We got married in July and had Aly help us plan our wedding based on the recommendation of a family friend and it was the absolute best decision! She was so helpful in explaining every step in the planning process and keeping us on track with getting things done. Meeting with her always relieved the anxiety I had built up on my own by having her assure us we were perfectly on track. We planned our wedding in 5 months so I was constantly worried we were behind on something but Aly broke everything down for us into an easy to follow timeline and made sure everything got done on time.

During our rehearsal and on our wedding day I was so grateful for her and her team, they set up everything exactly how I imagined it! They did such an incredible job designing the reception and making the tables so beautiful. We had been warned by several friends and family members to remember not to stress the day of because something inevitably always goes wrong but with Aly at the helm literally nothing was out of place or off schedule. She checked in with me constantly in the bridal suite and made sure we had everything we needed, she made sure photos were on time, and had her team set up our second location reception venue exactly how we wanted it.

We had the wedding of our dreams thanks to Aly and I absolutely recommend her as a wedding or event planner!!
