My husband and I were to so happy to have chosen Luciana and Masumi to help us create a wonderful day that we will not forget! They were able to coach us through all aspects of the planning and coordinating process making the day-of smooth and worry-free for us. They did the work for us while we enjoyed the day. The single best decision we made in all of our wedding planning journey was choosing to work with Luciana and Masumi.

My partner and I really had to try to learn and figure out everything out as things came up, and we're so grateful to have Luciana and Masumi by our side every step of the way. Not only was their professionalism and expertise 10/10 (truly!), plus their vendor relationships and recommendations were top tier, they really helped put at ease any concerns or anxieties we had. We had several family members and friends comment how calm we were even leading up to the day before the wedding, and I can honestly say a large part of that can be attributed to working with Events by GS.

Every scenario was thoughtfully planned for, every detail we wanted was captured fully -- both of them made sure to honor our wishes in the exact way we had hoped for, and the wedding truly delivered! We had so many people comment on how fun, beautiful, and iconic the wedding was, which I would've never imagined would happen without Luciana and Masumi!

Hiring events by GS was one of the best and easiest decisions we made in the process of planning our wedding. Our wedding was fairly complex, as it spanned multiple venues, and we had to use independent vendors for absolutely everything. While we were feeling quite anxious at the start about what we might be forgetting or didn't know, that anxiety disappeared as soon as we began working with Luciana and Masumi.
It was immediately clear that they were experienced professionals who were going to bring our vision to life. They were incredibly organized and provided us with a spreadsheet of everything we needed to think through, month-by-month leading up to the wedding. Luciana was always extremely efficient and effective at resolving any questions with vendors that came up, and was able to recommend additional vendors who were also exceptional and really elevated the event. Masumi's eye for design is extraordinary: we cried happy years when we saw the reception venue set up for the first time.
Perhaps most importantly, on the day of the wedding, they handled all the logistics so we could just enjoy the experience. As type A people, we were so grateful to have planners we trusted enough to truly let go. Multiple members of our wedding party commented on how seamless everything was running, saying they would “trust our planners with their lives.” We really don't think we could've had a better experience, and one of the saddest parts of our wedding being over is that we don't get to hang out with Luciana and Masumi anymore.

We could not have been happier with Luciana and Masumi. Luciana is a true hustler and worked incredibly hard to find and negotiate with the right vendors and keep us accountable with our own tasks and budget throughout all the planning, especially considering we booked a destination wedding in Mexico. Masumi has a unique artistic eye and curated the decorations exactly according to our desired style. The true magic of their partnership was realized on the day of the wedding - all of the moving pieces operated smoothly and without any major hiccups, which gave us the opportunity to focus on the special day itself and not worry about all the logistics. At the end of the day, Luciana and Masumi are both truly wonderful people and a joy to work with - we really feel like we made two new friends at the end of everything. Couldn't have asked for anything better.

We are beyond grateful for Luciana and Masumi— our wedding was everything we hoped for, and we could have never pulled it off without them! We were sent their way based on a recommendation from a friend who had hired them previously, and this was only further validated by the event coordinator at our venue who also gushed about them. We started working with Events by GS about 11 months before the big day, and they made the whole experience fun, organized, and about as stress-free as wedding planning can be! You can tell their reputation in the industry is strong, and they did an immaculate job helping us find the BEST, most trustworthy vendors— many of whom had worked together or at our venue before— making it an even more seamless day. Luciana kept us on track throughout the planning, and her attention to detail and ability to manage timelines, different vendors, and other moving pieces made it so we both could simply just enjoy the wedding weekend! Masumi's eye for design, expertise, and support with the setup for our Friday night welcome party and the wedding itself made each space beautiful and better than we envisioned. Overall, hiring Luciana and Masumi allowed my husband and I to genuinely enjoy the planning process and to be carefree and totally present during the welcome party, wedding ceremony, and reception— making the investment well worth it, and one we'd recommend to anyone!

Luciana and Masumi did an amazing job with our wedding. They were super prompt and responsive throughout the planning process, so that on the day of our wedding, we didn’t have to think about a thing. We had the 3 month planning package, and felt that the price was incredibly affordable for what you get in return. While luciana handled most of the logistics, Masumi’s decor and design eye helped to make our wedding day more beautiful than we could have imagined, including by taking some fun Polaroids of our guests as we all celebrated after the ceremony!

As a queer couple, we really appreciated having a planner who was experienced with queer weddings and the ways we could tweak our wedding celebration to make it our own. We will be recommending them to all of our friends and hope to have another reason to work with them in the future!

We had the privilege of working with Events by GS for our wedding. They were incredibly professional and were attentive to our needs. They went above and beyond to provide us with all of the information and coordination that we needed to make our event go off without a hitch. They had detailed timelines and planning sheets that allowed us to hone in on items and tasks that we had never even thought of.

Working with Luciana was a dream. My husband and I chose Events by GS as our month-of-coordinator, as we decided to do as much of the planning as possible together. Working with Luciana & Masumi has been a D R E A M that made our wedding a magical reality. Where do we even start?

From the get-go, they were so friendly, warm, welcoming & so genuinely interested in hearing all our design ideas, hopes and dreams for our wedding. They even sent us the most thoughtful wedding planning present to kick-off the process! Every meeting or call we had for our planning sessions had us feeling less stressed for the big day and filled with so much more clarity around our next steps. They're both super organized and immediately provided us with a LOT of resources to help us plan effectively - budgeting sheets, master decor trackers, timeline templates, layouts for our venue, seating chart templates... you name it, they had it! And because of their experience and connections, they were SUPER helpful in giving recommendations whenever we needed... like where to have our after party, was a HUGE HIT!

What also stood in our experience was how involved and collaborative we could be throughout the planning process with them. This seems like a no-brainer comment, but for a couple that wanted to be SUPER involved in every aspect of the wedding, this was huge! And because they're just genuinely wonderful people to work with, they gave us the space and confidence to explore taking a unique twist with our wedding that made it feel unconventional yet authentic to us as a couple. We spent so much time reviewing every aspect of the wedding (timelines, decor, my extensive planning powerpoint) so that we would feel confident & well-prepped going into our wedding - this was a massive help!

In addition to all the virtual planning sessions, we were so fortunate to do in person walk-throughs at our venue with them (and some of our vendors) because we were all local. And soon enough it was a few days before our wedding and they led our ceremony rehearsal with our family so easily. With organization and precision, we watched as they walked everyone through the entire venue, timeline of the day, our wedding ceremony + processional and where to stand for speeches. We both have very lively families but Luciana and Masumi handled everything with ease which had everyone feeling so excited for the big day!

And on the day of the wedding? Words cannot truly describe how grateful we are to them for being there and ensuring our wedding went smoothly. And when I say there were no issues on the day of our wedding, THERE. WERE. NO. ISSUES. Luciana and Masumi were fantastic at navigating the beautiful chaos of the wedding and really took care of us and our guests. The best part? I mean, apart from all of it, they went above and beyond to turn our flower arrangements into bouquets for guests to take with them, they cleaned up EVERYTHING, brought our whole wedding vision to life (and so much more) AND even came to our after party to dance the night away. What's been so incredible about this experience with them is not only did we get to work with the most talented, compassionate and kind-hearted people, but we made lifelong friends through the process. If we could give a million stars to Luciana and Masumi, we absolutely would! We had the pleasure of working with them twice. Unfortunately, our first wedding in February was evacuated due to a terrible storm, and we were unable to realize most of the wonderful planning that had gone into our first wedding. Luciana and Masumi were able to keep our guests calm and remained communicative when we had to abruptly wrap things up. They were able to keep me and my groom excited for the round 2 wedding this past August--which by the way they were able to fit us in during the peak period of wedding season. All the planning and decor efforts (with some new additions), made it over. The day went on without a hitch! Even prior to both wedding days, it was a joy working with Luciana on logistics (as I can be quite the type A bride). She has a calming, bubbly, and professional energy that made her a joy to work with for us and other vendors! Masumi was excellent in helping me narrow down some of my creative desires for the decor as well! All in all, we had two beautiful days and memories that will last a lifetime. Highly recommend.
