My husband and I had Vince as our DJ, and he was absolutely amazing! Vince played a mixture of music for all age groups, and was able to transition songs seamlessly! We had tons of guests on the dance floor the entire time! At the end of the night numerous guests told me it was the best wedding they have ever attended! I highly recommend Events by Cool Cats, there whole team made the wedding planning easy and enjoyable!

I can say this without a doubt that I've never heard a better wedding DJ in my life. Vince made the perfect mixes to get the party started and it never stopped!! Vinny MC'ed the entire night and kept everyone hyped for an amazing night! Couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate our big day. Vince is so down to earth. He knows all the great songs to play, and he knows when to play them. When he noticed that my guess weren’t really dancing he knew exactly what to play to get them on the dance floor. That was the moment I knew I hired the right person. He never gave us a canned response, or a general spiel at all. He was open, and honest, and all around the best vendor that I had.

Our wedding ended up getting cancelled because of COVID, and we paid a deposit but ultimately did not get to use this vendor (or any vendors). This vendor recently switched hands to the prior owner's son, Vince or Vinny Jr. He's been great to work with and has a clear vision for this business. He has a strong work ethic and is dedicated to client satisfaction. You're in good hands with Vince and the future couldn't be brighter for Cool Cat/Motions DJ.

I have used Cool Cat for all 3 of my daughter's Bat Mitzvah's. The DJ really is the person who runs the party and Vinny and his staff have an extensive knowledge of how Bat Mitzvahs are organized. They provide everything you need from montage, candle lighting ceremony, party games and the hora. Every DJ and entertainer from Cool Cat has had so much energy and personality. The Cool Cat team works with you to plan your party, offers excellent advice and delivers what they say they will and more. They check in during the party and make any adjustments you may need.

In a nutshell...they are reliable, professional and accommodating. They help get the party moving when it needs to and bring a relaxing mood when things need to settle down. Do not hesitate to hire Cool Cat. It is the best money you will spend.

Cory was an absolute rockstar in helping get our wedding music planned and delivered not only an amazing experience for us and our guests but was professional the whole way through.

If you're looking for a vendor who is going to go over and above then look no further. Even with our weird music tastes, Cory was able to pull together a set list that had all our guests from 2-92 on the floor and having a great time.

As you can see from the other reviews, Vinny and the Cool Cat team are THE DJs to have at your wedding if you want it to be the perfect party. My friends are still texting me (almost 2 weeks later) talking about how they have never been to a more fun wedding and have never seen so many people on the dance floor the entire night.
From the get go Vinny was amazing. I live in NYC so we have a few phone calls to plan everything and he was incredible. He made sure to play the specific songs that I wanted back to me over the phone to make sure it was the correct one, gave me recommendations and all in all put me at ease that the dance floor would be totally under his control.
I also found it extremely helpful that they have an online portal that takes all the stress and thinking away from you. Every detail is listed for you to fill in with what song for the occasion and what songs must me played and what songs you absolutely hate. They even have a special comment section where you give finer details about the family that DJs should know (divorced parents etc) to avoid any awkwardness.
The day of they were dressed and ready to go! Like I said they had everyone on the dance floor in the first song and the way they set up the evening they got all the "wedding stuff" out of the way so that the last 3 hours were all for partying! It helped move the wedding along and gave us all more time to just celebrate with friends and family.
