Estera Events: The Best of the Best!

We hired Estera Events for our 200 person wedding recently in Chicago. Bianca and the rest of her team were absolutely amazing throughout the entire wedding planning process! Whether it be helping us find a venue, keeping us on track with every vendor, helping us with RSVPs, or styling the most BEAUTIFUL wedding (literally a fairytale), and so much more - these girls are absolutely amazing! Let me start by saying that I am a Type A person. And if you're a Type A person, you know that putting your complete confidence in someone else can be a difficult thing to do. That said, after talking with Bianca, I learned quickly that I had made the best decision when it came to selecting who would be my day-of-coordinator.

Bianca and Erica are a great team who genuinely are friends besides being co-workers which made for great chemistry during our meetings. Their young and fresh take on weddings was an important factor to choosing them. But most important for me, Bianca and Erica were as thorough and as organized as I could have hoped for. They went along with the plan, where there was one, and offered suggestions and made phone calls when there wasn't. They understood our vision and made great recommendations. They were always reachable, responsive, resourceful and did it all with great and positive energy.

On the day of, I knew that I could put it all in their hands and I didn't worry about a thing. The day went swimmingly and if anything did go wrong, I had no idea it did. I would recommend Estera for their creativity, attention to detail, personal attention and great energy. Thank you Erica & Bianca for investing yourselves into our wedding as a whole and not just the wedding day.

I only had three months to prepare my wedding and I was running and rushing to find good vendors and I thought a Day of coordination would be nice for our wedding day. I found Hilary online and I sent her an email and she answered right away and on our first phone call she made me feel that she was the right person to hire. My fiancee by then, wasn't very convinced but I convinced him and so we hired Hilary. And ever since we met her, he says that she was AWESOME!
There are no words to express how thankful we are with her. She is so personable and thoughtful and she really makes you feel at peace and so confident that everything will go smoothly in your wedding.
She definitely goes above and beyond and she will make your day, month and year exquisite and calm. You can go blindfolded with her because she has this thing that is so peaceful and she has a great taste for things and small details that are very important in weddings.
She also has a great list of vendors, so I'm telling any bride to be to have Hilary's services because you will not regret it! Her work is worth every penny and more!

I can't tell you how fortunate I am to have hired Hilary of Estera Events when I did. If only I would have met her sooner, I would have racked up countless more hours of sleep and sanity, and my fiancé and I would have had a much "smoother" engagement!!!
Even though I didn't feel I had the time, I wasn't going to hire someone who I hadn't spoken with in detail about our wedding. When I looked for coordinators, I selected a manageable number of five and spoke at length with each one of them, going over vendors and details, much of which I had already planned and a few of which I hadn't even considered.
To be honest, although Hilary called me back first the next day (because I had e-mailed all of them at 2:00am), so was the least "sale-sy." Instead of trying to close the deal right then and there, she asked if she could take my fiancé and I out for a drink a few days later, because on that day my fiancé and I were going to get our marriage certificate and I remember her exact words, that she "believed in celebrating the little things in life." At the time, I had no idea how truly that would reflect her attention to detail.
We spent three hours talking that evening, probably three-quarters of it involving Hilary listening to not only myself but making sure to get my fiancé’s opinions as well, and before she showed me any sort of quote for her services, I could tell my fiancé and I had our minds made up.
She is amazing at what she does, and you will never feel like just some client. She truly puts her heart and soul into what she does, from calming me down a week before the event with her humor and empathy to helping me with my double-sided tape just moments before the ceremony.
My husband and I are truly blessed to have had the opportunity to not only have Hilary as our wedding coordinator, but as a friend in our lives. Do call anyone else, don't price shop, don't look at anyone else's list of services. Hilary goes above and beyond but does a very good job at maintaining a boundary and doing things asked of her, however within reason.
My Dad, who gave me an amount to spend and let me budget it accordingly, can at times feel like things in Chicago are overpriced (he lives in Michigan). However he will pay for something if it is worth it, and he asked me at the end of our wedding how much Hilary had charged for her services. I told him, and he told me she should have charged more and was worth every penny. I couldn't have put it better myself.

We had Estera Events for a day of coordinating package for our wedding on 6/6/15. Bianca was our coordinator but Erica helped out also on the day. Bianca met with us 3 times before our wedding day, once just to go over her services, another to catch up closer to the wedding, and the last time we met at the actual venue with was the Brookfield Zoo. She answered all of our questions, responded to emails promptly, and made sure the day ran smoothly. The best part was that she even packed up all the gifts and leftover party items at the end of the night and placed them in the car for us. When the party was done we had no clean up or carrying to do! She made sure our venue looked the way we wanted it and communicated with our vendors well. Her timeline for the day was also very helpful for organization and was very clear. It was nice to know that someone was there in case things went awry.
