Erica Stoy is based in upstate NY. She has been styling hair for nearly 12 years. Erica Stoy is no stranger to letting her creativity artistry shine through. Born and raised in upstate NY, her career began as an apprentice at the famed Scott Miller Salon in Rochester, NY. She then moved to Los Angeles, CA honing her craft working onset, at fashion week in NY and LA and beautifying many brides for their wedding day. She has trained under such top stylists as Oribe, Orlando Pita, as well with artist at the Wella LA Studio, and Bumble and Bumble NY Salon.
Starting in June 2014 she will be available for hair color and haircuts in Rochester, NY. She is also available for styling hair for special events such as Prom and Weddings. Available to travel to Buffalo, Syracuse, and Finger Lake Region.
Her work has been published in multiply fashion magazine and on television. Inspired by everything from the elegant and classy to the bold and unique she has experience in creating looks for red carpet events, television, weddings, and editorial styling.

Amazing to work with!
Erica was lovely to work with and was super friendly and personable. She allowed me to try out two different styles at my trial so that I could make an informed decision for the big day. She listened to my feedback and I ended up loving my hair the day of the wedding. She was very professional and helpful in making sure each wedding party member got the look they wanted and felt their best. I’d love to work with her again and would definitely recommend her services!

Erica made my wedding day hair dreams come true!
I showed Erica a few inspo pictures at my hair trial a few months before the wedding and she made my bridal ponytail vision come to life. On the wedding day she also styled hair for my maid of honor, mom, and mother in law. Everyone looked beautiful and was put at ease the morning of the wedding!

Elegant Creative Hair
I highly recommend Erica! She is creative and talented, and my hair perfectly complemented my wedding dress and vision for my wedding day. She listened carefully during my trial and created something that was just right. My bridal party loved her too, and everyone's hair turned out beautifully!

Talented, Creative, Devoted, and Professional
I absolutely adore Erica at Erica Story Hair. As a wedding planner, it's important to me that I work with other wedding professionals that are creative, dedicated, professional, talented, and will take care of my clients. Erica always takes wonderful care of my clients. She has incredible experience that reaches beyond Rochester, NY, which makes her an asset and gives her a broader view of the industry, trends, and techniques. She's organized and sets her clients at ease, which is so important on the wedding day! She also works hard to make sure clients are happy with their final look. I've worked with her on multiple projects including weddings, editorial shoots, my personal brand photo shoot, and my own hair cuts and styling. Erica is the best.
Hiring Erica for my wedding day is something I will never regret. Communicating with her from day one was easy. At the trial we were able to try many different styles I had in mind which was very helpful. On the wedding day she designed my hair exactly how I envisioned it. I could not have been happier. Everyone in my bridal party was happy with their hair as well, they looked beautiful. You will not regret hiring Erica.

Absolutely Stunning
Working with Erica was such a great experience. Not only is she extremely talented and skilled with hair but she is also very professional and easy to work with. Erica is wonderful and made me feel so special and beautiful each time we spoke. I could not be happier with how my hair turned out on my wedding day and I know my bridesmaids felt the same way with their hairstyles as well.

Erica did my hair and hair for all four of my bridesmaids on the morning of my wedding. She was fantastic to work with! I live overseas, so was not able to set up a trial until the week before the wedding. Erica immediately put me at ease and interpreted my explanation of what I wanted and the photos I showed her into a style that was exactly what I wanted. Erica came to the venue where we were getting ready on the morning of the wedding and was a very calming presence. Everyone looked amazing, and Erica was fast, professional and so friendly! I would wholeheartedly recommend her!

Erica was great to work with from start to finish! I had searched online for bridal hair and was kind of overwhelmed by so many options, but what I liked about Erica was that she had experience in and out of Rochester, she's prompt with her responses, and affordable. I had my wedding hair trial a few months before the big day and Erica took her time to create the perfect up-do. She took pictures so she could reference them for the wedding. I had a bigger bridal party so she was able to bring in another stylist on my wedding day. All of us were very happy with our hair styles! I would highly recommend Erica for your wedding or any big event!
