My wife and I had our engagement and wedding photos done through Emma and were extremely happy with both. The engagement session really helped us get to know each other better (we would wholeheartedly recommend this to everyone), and we felt at ease the entire time we were having pictures done as she felt much more like a friend than a vendor. Emma was great at coming up with shots within the context of what we wanted and we felt like the wedding day and all of our guests were captured completely and creatively. Throughout the time leading up to the wedding, Emma was exceptionally responsive and able to anticipate our needs. We had an initial in-person meeting and a final check-in prior to the wedding which we felt were helpful and focused on our vision for the day. The pre-wedding survey helped us communicate what shots we knew had to have, as well as those we didn’t realize we wanted, which was appreciated.

The pictures themselves were of excellent quality and timeless; we feel confident our family will be able to enjoy them forever. There were so many fun moments she was able to capture from our wedding and we feel our style and theme spoke well through the pictures. Both of the online galleries we received were easy to navigate and share, which was a nice unexpected perk, and they were received soon after each session. Overall, we would highly recommend Emma to anyone getting married in Chicago or beyond.
