I interviewed several event planners for my wedding and chose Emily's Events. My husband and I both really liked Emily, the owner, from our first meeting. She is cheerful, warm, and kind, but not fake. She has lots of experience working with children, which was a major selling point for us. We went with the full service planning package that Emily offers, and I found it to be extremely good value for money. Emily was very responsive to all of my questions and ideas. She was super flexible when it came to staying inside our budget. For example, we decided to save money by not hiring a DJ and just making a playlist. Emily helped us coordinate this by allowing some friends to drop off speakers that we were borrowing for the reception, setting everything up, and making sure it ran properly during the party. It went perfectly! She was also very flexible with meeting times. We were often times only available to meet in the evenings, and she never made us feel like we were putting her out. She was involved in every aspect of planning and execution including booking a church, booking a reception venue, catering for food and cake, invitations, the rehearsal dinner, communication with the bridal party and clergy, music, the program, reception decorations, flowers, a Photo Booth, MC'ing the reception, and so much more! I know i am forgetting things. One of the things that we loved the most was the activities that Emily planned for the children at our reception. There were lots of crafts and even a special drink station for the kids. They had so much fun. We have been told by many, many people that ours was the most fun wedding they have attended.

If you are looking for a wedding planner who can plan a fantastic wedding (even in a short amount of time) please meet with Emily. You won't regret it.

I cannot say enough about Emily and her staff. Before we started working with her, we met with two other event planners. Once we met Emily we didn’t even think about going anywhere else. She knew exactly what she was talking about and had so many great ideas to offer us that the other event planners didn’t even try and suggest! She worked within our budget and gave us tools to keep us on track. She was more conscious about our budget than we were. She found ways for us to get all the things we wanted even though we didn’t think it was in our budget.

The day of the event, we showed up completely relaxed and confident that Emily had every detail covered. She even did things that we didn’t think about. She definitely has the knowledge and experience that the others in town didn’t seem to have. The invitations she designed were beautiful and I have referred many friends to her since.

She saved us so much money by showing us how to get the looks we wanted by using things she owned (and she owns A LOT!) We went into her design room and played with all sorts of ideas for centerpieces and décor. It was hard to decide from so many options. Even my husband had fun doing that.

Her services were invaluable to us and the amount she saved us was more than the cost of her services. We had so many rave reviews from our guests and a few of our friends are now using Emily for their wedding. We would love to get married a few more times just so we can use her again. She really does make you feel like a princess.

My mom and I could not have gotten through the wedding without Emily! She had so much knowledge and advice and went over and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for the wedding. She did a beautiful job with our invitations, directed us with the veunue and all of the vedors and put it all together in the end. It was a perfect day!
