With its Austin stone architecture, lakeside views, mature natural surroundings, and distinctive winery roots, the property offers an elevated natural setting that feels warm, relaxed, and refreshingly different from the traditional Texas wedding venue.

Known locally for years as “The Winery,” Emery’s Buffalo Creek has evolved into a thoughtfully designed place for couples to gather, celebrate, and make the day their own. From intimate celebrations to larger weddings, the property offers a collection of indoor and outdoor spaces that flow naturally throughout the day.

Facilities & Capacity

Couples can choose from several distinctive spaces across the property. Exchange vows beside the lake at the Lakeside Gazebo or gather indoors in front of one of the venue’s beautiful Austin stone fireplaces. The climate-controlled Reception Hall features three stone fireplaces and provides a warm, inviting backdrop that can be styled in many different ways.

The Winery Bar & Lounge opens onto a spacious lake-view deck, creating a natural setting for cocktail hour and conversation. Outdoors, the Firefly Terrace offers another gathering space beneath café lights and is a favorite for evening celebrations and sparkler exits.

Bridal and groom’s spaces, ceremony and reception furnishings, and a collection of wedding décor are also available on the property.

Services Offered

Emery’s Buffalo Creek was designed to give couples both support and flexibility. Venue rentals include tables and chairs, setup and teardown of venue furnishings, access to the property’s gathering spaces, and time for wedding-day preparations.

Couples may also take advantage of curated décor options, bar service, trusted vendor connections, and additional planning resources while still having the freedom to create a celebration that feels personal to them.

More than anything, owners Patti and Larry want couples and their families to feel at home here. Since establishing Emery’s Buffalo Creek in 2016, they have welcomed each celebration with the same philosophy: offer a beautiful place, take good care of people, and give them the freedom to make it their own.
