I cannot recommend Devyn enough!

We were coordinating two international weddings between Australia and Boston and Devyn was a dream to work with. For someone who is a busy at work ,has a vision and is a perfectionist like myself, Devyn was ideal to work with. She got me right away, was in constant communication and by my side overstep of the way on the big day,

From start to finish she was extremely professional and efficient. Planning a wedding is very stressful and her expertise helped us make the wedding of our dreams! The florals were simply stunning and the design layout and implementation of the decorations at our ceremony and reception were perfect. She helped us source all suppliers - videographer, photographer, flowers, make-up, etc.. Her advice and knowledge is priceless and I felt confident in the lead up to the day that she would create our vision. We had the most amazing day, guests still tell us how blown away they were by our wedding! But what stuck with me the most was Devyn, her smile, attitude, patience and organization skills. We are so happy we had her for our big day!

We hosted a multi-day celebration with four separate events—the rehearsal dinner, welcome reception, wedding (with ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing), and farewell brunch. Each event had its own logistics, design, and vendor coordination, and Devyn handled every single element flawlessly.

From our first conversation, I knew we were in expert hands. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and calming energy made the entire process enjoyable. Devyn has an incredible ability to translate vision into reality—my daughter said, “She made my Pinterest board come true!”

My husband and I had the most amazing and stress free wedding day and we owe it all to Devyn and her team at Emerald Events. Living in CA and planning a wedding in MA was a daunting task and I knew right away that we needed a planner. After weeks of searching and dozens of phone calls, all was solved when we found Devyn. I knew that she was the one to trust with our big day. During our design phase, without knowing it, she pulled together a color pallet that was directly from one of our favorite art pieces in our home. That is how spot on she is. She is organized and flexible and creates the most beautiful, thoughtful, and sentimental weddings. She kept me on track and helped mitigate stress. She fully brought to life our rehearsal dinner when her one direction was "let's go with the vibe of the restaurant". If I could credit her with the beautiful weather we had day of, I would. I keep looking back at our photos and can't help but thinking, "wow, this just looks like us". She went above and beyond for us and I would get married all over again just to plan it with her.

As soon as my fiancé and I met Devyn over a zoom call, I knew we had to hire her to plan our wedding. She is not only extremely talented in her field, she is also a wonderful person and very personable and easy to work with. My main concern going into wedding planning was being far from our destination (we live in CA and planned a wedding in MA), and for the design aspect as I tend to lack in that area. Devyn solved any concern - she attended vendor meetings in MA that we weren't able to, truly going above and beyond. She asked all the right questions and totally understood the aesthetic we were going for design wise and ran with it, coming back to us with gorgeous design decks (multiple!) that were on the nose. She was flexible with us being in a different time zone. She not only designed, but also coordinated flawlessly. She executed with vendors and built a relationship with our venue coordinator that I'm certain impacted how smoothly everything went. Devyn planned an entire wedding weekend, coordinating multiple events from Friday morning through Sunday morning including a yoga class, lunch, rehearsal dinner, welcome reception, bonfires, a brunch, ceremony, reception, an after party... We definitely kept her busy and she did not seem to tire. She led us through the weekend (along with her amazing team - Evie, Nicolette, and Alexa!) with so much assurance that everything would be taken care of. When rain was on the forecast, she moved our cocktail hour to a different location at our venue with only a couple of hours to spare. We didn't stress one bit. My now husband and I were able to relax and enjoy every moment of the event without worrying about the details and logistics. I would be remiss not to mention that Devyn planned our wedding while being a new mom - which I am sure was no easy feat. We are so thankful to have found her, and would recommend her to absolutely anyone looking for a full service wedding planner.

Devyn was a pleasure to work with! We opted for her full service option and worked with Emerald Events for about 14 months. From our first meeting to the wedding day, we were in great hands and we couldn’t have planned such a memorable event without her.

Throughout the planning process, she was always just a call or text away, ready to answer questions or give advice whenever we needed it along with our weekly virtual meetings. She helped so much with researching venues, communicating with vendors, putting together mood boards, finding inspiration, understanding our vision and so much more.

She stayed composed and organized at every turn while also keeping us calm when we felt like things were falling off-track.

When the big day finally came, Devyn and her team handled everything perfectly behind the scenes so we could focus on savoring every magical moment of our wedding day. And we did! It was a truly unforgettable experience and seeing all of the details and concepts come to life was a dream come true.

We honestly couldn’t imagine having planned this without her. Highly recommended. 10/10!

I truly don’t even know where to begin. Devyn is the sole reason my wedding went SO smoothly and was everything I wanted! I’m forever grateful to her for that! I hired Devyn in August 2023 for my April 2024 wedding. I did the wedding management and design package. I initially wasn’t sure if I wanted to add in the design portion, mainly because of cost, but I’m SO happy I did because Devyn really made sure everything came together, and it was amazing. Immediately after hiring Devyn, I felt so relieved with the whole planning process. She went full force into everything, and it felt so good to have someone do all of that! Soon into the planning process, Devyn let me know she was pregnant and that her due date was actually the day before my wedding! She assured me I would be fully taken care of and not to worry, but I never once worried about it because I knew Devyn would make sure I was taken care of. She let me know that I would have three people present on the wedding day. Evie would be the primary contact and planner at the wedding, Nicolette (For Her Socials- Content Creation) would be at the hotel with us while we were getting ready and making sure we were staying on time, and everything that comes with that, and she hired out one of her planner friends Nicole (Nicole Gabriella Planning) to be the second point of contact at the venue and be there to help me with anything I needed. Throughout the entire planning process, Devyn’s communication was top-tier. She was always keeping me in the loop with updates from vendors and giving me updates. If I ever had a question, I never once felt like a bother. Devyn made sure everything was EXACTLY how I wanted it. I’m the type of person to just do whatever’s easiest, but she made sure every single detail was exactly what I wanted. If there was ever anything from the vendors that I slightly wasn’t happy with, she’d immediately go to them and let them know, which is something I never would’ve done on my own. I’ve never had anyone advocate for me like Devyn! She always made sure every single detail was absolutely perfect for me. As we were approaching my wedding and her due date, she never once slowed down, and I never felt worried about things not getting done. She did our final walkthrough TWO weeks before giving birth! I felt bad, but she assured me she was okay and would take her maternity leave as soon as she knew everything was good for me! Evie was incredible on the day of the wedding and made sure everything was good and that I didn’t need to worry about anything. Literally, the entire wedding planning process was so easy, thanks to Devyn, and she truly made it perfect for me. I’m forever grateful for Devyn, and I truly couldn’t recommend her enough! All my vendors, including the venue, were SO impressed with how organized everything was and kept talking about how easy Devyn made anything for everyone! Everyone needs a Devyn in their life!

Emerald events transformed our venue into what I can only describe as magic. The floral, the table designs, the signs and other decor they created made our wedding unique and tailored to truly be what we wanted it to be - and more! I would recommend them to anyone.

I could write a book with all of the absolutely amazing things there are to say about Devyn and the Emerald Events team. Hiring Devyn was hands down the best decision we made in respect to our wedding (besides marrying each other, of course)! When it came to wedding planning, I knew I wanted someone to take over for the month of as most of our vendors were already booked. I was also struggling to find a decor service that truly understood what I wanted for our wedding design. Enter Devyn! After our first call together, she sent over a design board that literally looked like it was taken off my Pinterest board! I truly appreciate how open she was to any and all decor ideas we had and she always gave such helpful suggestions. She worked with us to bring my vision to life and create a design we loved!
When Devyn took over during the month of, we didn’t have to stress about any vendors as she had everything covered and was on top of every little detail! Whenever we had any questions or issues, she would jump on a call with us and instantly make us feel at ease! During the week of the wedding, she answered texts in just a few minutes and she never made us feel like we were bothering her with too many questions.

As we had two ceremonies on our wedding day with two different outfits and two picture sessions, we were very worried about staying on time. Thanks to Devyn, we were able to stay on schedule the whole time and our ceremonies and reception were not delayed. She ensured everyone was where they needed to be at all times and any and every request we had was handled to make sure that everything flowed seamlessly! Devyn and Evie allowed us to enjoy our wedding day and live in the moment without stressing about any details!


Our wedding would not have been the same without Devyn and hiring her was the best decision we made! Whenever we hit a roadblock, she handled it with such professionalism and confidence that we never felt that anything was out of control.
