I had never thought about getting a custom wedding dress, but I had seen some of Mackenzie's other dresses and knew what a great job she would do! She drove my mother and me down to Los Angeles to hand pick all the fabric, including some beautiful lace, and worked through several different samples of the dress before the final one was done. Mackenzie has such an incredible eye for detail and a passion to give her clients exactly what they want. She will work with you every step of the way and you will end up with a beautiful, one of a kind dress that you will love. I highly recommend her!

Mackenzie is such an amazing and talented designer! I was able to show her some pictures of what type of dress I wanted and she designed my perfect dress! It was such a blessing to be able to be involved in the whole process of creating my dress. At every stage I got a chance to say what I felt worked and what I wanted to have changed a little bit. I love that Mackenzie is honest about what would work for my body type because her goal was for me to look the best for my special day! She is so fun and easy to work with and her creations are exquisite and beautiful. I recommend her highly to anyone looking for a wedding dress. I would definitely consult her before going out to all the big wedding stores and getting bombarded with sales people.

Elizabeth Mackenzie did an amazing job designing and sewing my wedding dress. She exceeded my expectations. The dress was gorgeous and high quality. I met with her only once and she drew up the perfect one-of-a-kind sketch, understanding not only my style but what would be best suited for my body type. She has a great eye and it fit like a glove on the first try. She was very patient and flexible, even with her busy schedule. When shopping for fabric I could not quite describe what I was looking for with words. She knew the best places to find quality fabric and we found the lace of my dreams. Her attention to detail is phenomenal, she hand-cut and sewed scalloped edges from my lace to the bottom of the dress and even used the fabric to create covered buttons down the back. She is such a fantastic seamstress. Looking back on my wedding day, I realized I never had to pull or tuck; I was very comfortable, walking and dancing with ease all day (which is incredible for a mermaid style dress). I felt absolutely beautiful and it was great knowing my dress was elegant and unique. I received tons of compliments and most people thought I spent a fortune. I would definitely recommend getting a custom dress from Elizabeth Mackenzie!
