We selected Elegant Design for our Baby Shower and the experience was absolutely amazing! All I had to do was provide my vision and color preference and Sharika took care of the rest. She kept me informed every step of the way and responded to my texts/calls immediately. We had a beautiful, successful, stress free event thanks to Elegant Design. I would highly recommend Elegant Design for your next event!

Your wedding day should be a happy day. The one day that everything you & your partner envisioned leading up to it coming to fruition as planned. As amazing as our friends & family made our day...that didn’t occur for Jamarcus & I. Our wedding planner did NOT fulfill her duties as either wedding planner or day of corrdinaror. not only was she not there to greet my hair and makeup artist she was not their to greet me nor my bridesmaids & showed up over an hour and half late from the time SHE SAID she would arrive. Basically walking in with my photographer. Then my maid of honor had to inform her when she went through the walk through that our “clear pillars” were cracked & her response was “that it shouldn’t be as it was a rental”...but we discussed and agreed on mirrored pillars so having clear cracked pillars shouldn’t have been there to begin with. Not only should she have already known it was cracked she shouldn’t have had to be told to move it so nobody could see it (in which the guest could still see it) but it was the wrong pillars to begin with.

The flowers that I requested orchids...were NOT the flowers that I had outside of my bouquet & boutonnieres. I did NOT ask for hydrangeas & specifically stated I didn’t want them, but every flower in the building were hydrangeas 😒 (I have proof I said I didn’t like them & would accept them only as fillers in my centerpieces). The same high, medium, low centerpieces that I DID NOT have.

We also had a town car scheduled to pick us up and was just another example of what I am speaking on things not getting done properly as my now husband had to go outside & find the car as it was EXACTLY where it was suppose to be b/c the wedding planner said it wasn’t there. I also literally was standing at the cake table and had to walk to the DJ booth and tell the announcer that there where two tables still waiting for dinner while nobody was at the buffet line. These are things we paid our wedding planner for but instead WE had to do DURING our reception.

All of these things and more occurred and yet she holds no accountability for her lack of professionalism & the chaos that was our wedding day.

Everything was good UNTIL the wedding day. Sharika was over a hour & half late from her own schedule she provided. Once arriving she didn’t even have the items needed. She didn’t provide the flowers I requested in my arrangements or centerpieces. I asked for orchids as my main flowers and would accept Hydrangeas as fillers as I don’t care for this flower to begin with. In the pics provided you can see that she did what she wanted. Guest and other vendors stated she was rude & unprofessional. She holds no accountability for the trillion of errors she was in charge of. I regret hiring her for the day I will never do again & wouldn’t hire her to coordinate a puppy birthday party.
