We started with an engagement shoot, and it was such a fun and relaxed experience that we ended up shooting longer than planned! We couldn't be happier with Elaina and her team to help capture the special moments during the wedding. We had an intimate wedding of 40, and both sets of parents are Asian immigrants and not super familiar with American weddings and photography. Elaina made everyone feel so comfortable and safe that we got so many precious & intimate moments on camera.

Would highly recommend if you are looking for a professional yet high energy (and you will need this during the wedding because everything is overwhelming as a bride, so I loved how Elaina gave us a lot of prompts and directions so I had to think less) photographer to work with even your shyest guests.

When choosing a photographer, we read reviews that said things like "Hiring Elaina was the best decision we made for our wedding" and " Elaina made everything better" and we thought that that must be an exaggeration. But wow, all those reviews were correct. When we first met with Elaina, we were immediately put at ease; she was warm and inviting and had photographed many weddings at our venue, so was helpful in figuring out where we should have our ceremony and portraits. And then the actual event - we were in such good hands. Her photos were so natural and not forced, she captured the joy and love so naturally, we are obsessed with our photos and how wonderful she was to work with. Absolutely the best choice for a wedding in the Berkshires!

Elaina was our wedding photographer for our summer 2023 celebration in the Berkshires, and she was absolutely fantastic. Months prior to the big day, she took the time to meet with my wife and I, building a personal connection with us and even visited our venue before the big day to scout out locations and lighting. Throughout the wedding day, she did an excellent job of capturing both the initimate and big moments, efficently organizing family photos, and contributing a fun/energetic presence to the event (especially on the dance floor!). When my wife and I received the wedding gallery, we had so much fun looking through the pictures and re-living every special moment. The highlight though, was the unexpected delight of all the dance floor pictures. I highly recommend Elaina for weddings or any other special event, in the Berkshires or beyond.

Elaina is amazing. She is extremely professional, efficient (especially when getting through all those family photos!), and talented. She is also very down to earth and a great presence to have around you on your wedding day amidst all the chaos. My spouse and I cried when we received our beautiful photo gallery as we got to relive our day through the absolutely magical pictures that she took. People keep talking about how great (and fun!) our photographer was. You cannot go wrong with Elaina :)

Working with Elaina Mortali was one of the best wedding decisions we made! You CANNOT GO WRONG with her! She was easy to get in contact with, had such a fun attitude, and came prepared with a lovely assistant. She listened and observed and understood our vibe before she ever got to the space. She's truly a creative individual! When she arrived I was in a panic and not for one second did she add to my stress. She showed herself around, she kept busy taking photos of the space, and just generally kept the spirits high and relaxed! In my bride panic moment, she led the charge and basically was my fearless leader, nixing the traditional "first look" for something much more US (my husband and I)! Those photos were hilarious and emotional and way better than anything staged we could have done. She's a true professional! During the wedding she had us laughing and feeling so natural. THE PHOTOS ARE STUNNING! Different. Cool. Unique. SO US! I loved that Elaina was intuitive but also had opinions when necessary. She's open to trying things, incredibly sweet, and honestly by the end I felt like we were old friends! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PHOTOGRAPHER! Do it! Do it! Do it!

Picking a photographer is a crucial member of your wedding vendor team and I am so thankful we made the decision to hire Elaina. She was unbelievable from the start - responsive, excited, and a great listener. We ended up grabbing dinner with her prior to our event to get to know her better and I'm so glad we did. She was a friend throughout the process and put us immediately at ease. We felt comfortable and taken care of the entire time, and her digital + film photography is next level. Elaina was probably the favorite vendor I hired for my wedding. She immediately got us and what we wanted and did everything possible to make our vision come to life. She was such a hype woman throughout the day making us feel amazing but also corrected us when we did things that would look bad in photos (in a loving way.) And Her photos were better than we could have ever imagined and the turnaround time was only ~3 weeks. Couldn’t recommend her more highly!

Elaina was absolutely amazing. I can't even begin to thank her enough for how incredible our pictures came out. As a couple, we are both a little shy and awkward in front of the camera and didn't have many picture ideas that we definitely wanted going into the day. Elaina made us feel so comfortable, suggested so many different poses and combinations of people for our pictures, there isn't any sort of picture that I wish we had gotten and didn't. She got so many shots of the details of our wedding as well that I would have never even thought to remember, but am now fortunate enough to have all of these pictures to look back on. I was extremely emotional on my wedding day but she was so patient and kind with me. If anyone is thinking about getting married in western MA, Elaina should be your top choice for photographer. Having her as our photographer was absolutely one of the best decisions we made for that day and we were so lucky to have her.
