  Literally Perfect

  When choosing a photographer, we read reviews that said things like "Hiring Elaina was the best decision we made for our wedding" and " Elaina made everything better" and we thought that that must be an exaggeration. But wow, all those reviews were correct. When we first met with Elaina, we were immediately put at ease; she was warm and inviting and had photographed many weddings at our venue, so was helpful in figuring out where we should have our ceremony and portraits. And then the actual event - we were in such good hands. Her photos were so natural and not forced, she captured the joy and love so naturally, we are obsessed with our photos and how wonderful she was to work with. Absolutely the best choice for a wedding in the Berkshires!

  No Better Option!

  Elaina was our wedding photographer for our summer 2023 celebration in the Berkshires, and she was absolutely fantastic. Months prior to the big day, she took the time to meet with my wife and I, building a personal connection with us and even visited our venue before the big day to scout out locations and lighting. Throughout the wedding day, she did an excellent job of capturing both the initimate and big moments, efficently organizing family photos, and contributing a fun/energetic presence to the event (especially on the dance floor!). When my wife and I received the wedding gallery, we had so much fun looking through the pictures and re-living every special moment. The highlight though, was the unexpected delight of all the dance floor pictures. I highly recommend Elaina for weddings or any other special event, in the Berkshires or beyond.

  Elaina is the best!!

  Elaina is amazing. She is extremely professional, efficient (especially when getting through all those family photos!), and talented. She is also very down to earth and a great presence to have around you on your wedding day amidst all the chaos. My spouse and I cried when we received our beautiful photo gallery as we got to relive our day through the absolutely magical pictures that she took. People keep talking about how great (and fun!) our photographer was. You cannot go wrong with Elaina :)

  Elaina is amazing. She is extremely professional, efficient (especially when getting through all those family photos!), and talented.   Elaina is a photo wizard

  Working with Elaina Mortali was one of the best wedding decisions we made! You CANNOT GO WRONG with her! She was easy to get in contact with, had such a fun attitude, and came prepared with a lovely assistant. She listened and observed and understood our vibe before she ever got to the space. She's truly a creative individual! When she arrived I was in a panic and not for one second did she add to my stress. She showed herself around, she kept busy taking photos of the space, and just generally kept the spirits high and relaxed! In my bride panic moment, she led the charge and basically was my fearless leader, nixing the traditional "first look" for something much more US (my husband and I)! Those photos were hilarious and emotional and way better than anything staged we could have done. She's a true professional! During the wedding she had us laughing and feeling so natural. THE PHOTOS ARE STUNNING! Different. Cool. Unique. SO US! I loved that Elaina was intuitive but also had opinions when necessary. She's open to trying things, incredibly sweet, and honestly by the end I felt like we were old friends! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PHOTOGRAPHER! Do it! Do it! Do it!

  The best decision we made

  Amazing photographer and person

  Elaina was absolutely amazing. I can't even begin to thank her enough for how incredible our pictures came out. As a couple, we are both a little shy and awkward in front of the camera and didn't have many picture ideas that we definitely wanted going into the day. Elaina made us feel so comfortable, suggested so many different poses and combinations of people for our pictures, there isn't any sort of picture that I wish we had gotten and didn't. She got so many shots of the details of our wedding as well that I would have never even thought to remember, but am now fortunate enough to have all of these pictures to look back on. I was extremely emotional on my wedding day but she was so patient and kind with me. If anyone is thinking about getting married in western MA, Elaina should be your top choice for photographer. Having her as our photographer was absolutely one of the best decisions we made for that day and we were so lucky to have her.

  Hire Elaina Immediately!!

  Elaina was probably the favorite vendor I hired for my wedding. She immediately got us and what we wanted and did everything possible to make our vision come to life. She was such a hype woman throughout the day making us feel amazing but also corrected us when we did things that would look bad in photos (in a loving way.) And Her photos were better than we could have ever imagined and the turnaround time was only ~3 weeks. Couldn’t recommend her more highly!

  Amazing Experience

  We feel so lucky we were able to work with Elaina! She is easy to work with and full of helpful and creative ideas. We loved her enthusiasm for our wedding and her eagerness to collaborate. She was spectacular on our wedding day, seamlessly appearing when she was needed and then knowing exactly when to blend into the background. And our photos are perfect! Elaina was able to make sure everything was exactly as we wanted it and to capture special moments we couldn’t have even asked for. She’s also just a friendly, genuine person who is nice to be around, so she was the perfect choice to have on our team for such a special day.

  In addition to beautiful portraits, she documented the venue and the details (flowers, place settings, etc.) with care. She captured dozens upon dozens of incredible, candid moments between us and our guests. The collection is phenomenal.   The BEST decision.

  I could not recommend Elaina more. She is incredibly talented, and gave us the best gift of being able to remember our wedding day with the most beautiful pictures.
  
  From the start, Elaina was so easy going and nice to talk to (even if we weren’t able to meet in person due to COVID!). She checked in with us before the wedding to make sure she had all the details and understood our expectations for the photos and portraits. The entire process was easy and straight forward.
  
  We finally met Elaina on our wedding day and she made everything fluid and easy! She was so accommodating when I had forgotten of a portrait idea I wanted during the reception and it was so fun. She orchestrated the wedding portraits very efficiently, and my sister had commented that she had wished her wedding photographer was more like Elaina.
  
  She gave us so many photos - my jaw was on the floor for most of the time we reviewed the pictures for the first time. I can’t say enough of how happy I am with the photos, and how big of a positive impact Elaina’s presence and personality had on our wedding day.

  The BEST vendor choice we made!

  Elaina is extremely talented and so perfectly captured our wedding day in August! We can't stop looking at the photos and marvel at how well she captured the look and feel of the event through candids and beautiful portraits. She had the perfect laid back personality you want around during a day that can have a lot of stress. Couldn't recommend more!!

  Amazing experience and photos!

  Elaina photographed our May 2019 wedding in the Hudson Valley, and ultimately provided us with more than 1,000 photographs across digital and film cameras.
  
  The first thing we noticed about Elaina was her genuine enthusiasm and interest in all aspects of our wedding day; she asked about our backstory, the setting of the wedding, and got to know our personalities, and then ultimately used all of this to inform the types of photographs she took and the types of details she captured. (She also made a point to visit our wedding site with us months before the big day, which reflected her commitment.) It felt rare, and we felt lucky, to have someone so deeply invested in us and thoughtful about her craft involved in our wedding -- and, unsurprisingly, the photos we received are beyond stunning. Every single one is purposefully composed, and so many capture myriad emotions (not to mention people!) in the span of one photograph. The set in total really tells the story of an entire relationship, which is due entirely to Elaina's skill and consideration as a photographer.
  
  I'll also note that I especially recommend Elaina to any couple involving the outdoors in their wedding. Elaina is very sensitive to beautiful landscapes, extremely quick to act when good lighting arrives, and (in general) deeply appreciative of nature.

  Elaina is a fabulous photographer and a fabulous person, which means if you work with her, you will be lucky and happy! Elaina did photos for our wedding and rehearsal dinner, and she also took our photo for the New York Times (which was published!). Elaina is great to work with -- thoughtful and thorough -- and her photographs are exceptional. It poured during our wedding, and she was a total trooper, getting excellent photos regardless of the bad conditions. When she saw the rain cleared up towards the end of the night, she took us outside and found a spot with great light and took some of our favorite pictures. Elaina is wonderful to work with. We can't recommend her enough!
