A string duo played at the reception for my intimate destination wedding. It was a great choice and this group had the best pricing when I was looking ! I recommend strings as a lovely touch for all weddings if possible. My guests loved the music and you could tell that the musicians were doing what they loved. Preston was easy to work with and communicative. I would use this vendor again.

Preston and his team created a magical and romantic experience at our wedding ceremony! Most of my songs were in the more "today's music" category, even songs that have more recently been released. They were able to play everything I requested, even if it wasn't on their music list! They were extremely responsive, always kind, personable, very professional and accommodating to whatever we envisioned. I had so many questions and Preston gave me guidance on what would sound best and understood the vibe I wanted to create. After the ceremony, they quickly relocated to the onsite reception and continued playing some more upbeat strings during our cocktail time before our band got started. I was only able to wave to Preston as he was leaving and as I was taking pictures with my husband but it was so nice to hear the beautiful music playing at the beginning of the prelude knowing they were there, performed beautifully, were professional, made us look good, and we did not have even think about it with all of the other moving parts on the wedding day. Edgewire will do their absolute best to play whatever you request, will be reliable, will sound beautiful, and is an incredible value! If you are looking for strings, Edgewire will bring your vision to life and they are so pleasant to work with! If they are available, snatch them up!

Preston and the team at Edgewire Music performed at our micro wedding in Charleston, SC. We wanted to have a high-quality violinist play during multiple parts of our wedding. Preston exceeded our expectations.

Professional - Preston's service was straightforward to use. Upon initial inquiry, he reached out to set up a meeting and offered multiple options for his services. He always met or beat deadlines, which made our wedding planning streamline. Additionally, he provided various price points to ensure we stayed within our budget.

Timely - Preston always returned texts and emails within hours. Additionally, he took the initiative a few times when he sensed we didn't know what exactly we wanted. Preston offered his professional opinion on the pros and cons of two violinists and what songs to play when. He even set up a zoom with all of our vendors to ensure they worked collaboratively during our ceremony.

Skilled: Preston played a variety of songs for us. He played "Canon in D," "Clare de Lune," "can't help falling in love," and other light classical music. We asked for the first three songs specifically, and Preston never hesitated with his ability to play the songs. He also played other soft music at various times during the ceremony.

I cannot say enough about the professionalism and artistry of Preston and the Edgewire crew at my daughter's recent wedding. I would HIGHLY Recommend them to anyone. Our wedding was during a hurricane and Edgewire was the only company that I did not have to worry about, They are SO easy to work with, and I got to pick my own songs. They were able to play the list of songs I had requested, and they played absolutely beautifully. It was so elegant, and peaceful to listen to the music; especially after having such a stressful week. They are on time, professional, and life savers!
